This place was bad... I don't know if it was because it was late Monday night or what, but the food was so bad here. I mean even for buffet standards. I have this thing that if a buffet has like a 3 star rating it might be ok with 3.5 I thought this place would be pretty good, boy was I wrong. My husband who eats anything, and I mean anything, said it was bad. I mean when he says it's bad it is BAD. I don't think I would have ate any of it if it wasn't so late and I weren't so hungry. There are American Chinese Buffets than there is Ichiban Buffet. The sushi was the best I ever had in Florida Chinese Buffet! The Buffet featured muscles cooked in a special sauce that I loved! The restaurant was cleaned and the service was excellent! Try the Hibachi bar and cold grilled chicken salad. The ambiance is really nice in here and the restaurant itself is really spacious. There's a wide variety of food to choose from, including sushi, Chinese and American cuisine. The food itself was good and they also have a hibachi grill, which I did not get to try. I've been craving sushi and crab legs for a while and this place delivered. My biggest complain is that they charge $8 for a 3 yr old. I also did not see a sign that says they will charge extra for crabs. We tried their crabs once, which did not get refilled anymore, and charged $6. It's a Chinese buffet and they make mass amount of food to the public which allows them to keep their prices low for a buffet. Out of all the buffets in Orlando, this one is my favorite. They have lots of variety and hibachi. I feel they lack in variety of sushi at this place, but overall it's a good place. We went for the food which sounded good after a day at Universal Studios. The service sucked tried to tell one of the waitresses we had a yelp check in coupon, she just walked off. When she brought the check she grabbed my phone and walked off to show someone the yelp coupon. She came back and said we couldnt use it unless we bought drinks , it doesn't say that on the coupon. This is an ok Chinese buffet location right in the heart of the tourist corridor of international drive. Don't come in with high expectations on food quality and you won't be to disappointed. My father in law saw the sign calling him for cheap buffet so we headed there for dinner after a long drive from Miami. We arrived at 6:45 on a Friday night and ended up waiting about 15 min. If we arrived 10 min later our wait easily would've jumped to 30-45 min. Food is what you expect a $11.99 dinner buffet to be. Lots of Chinese, American, oysters, crab legs. They also had one person doing the Hibachi area which made for bit of a wait. Decent. Highlight was the sushi. Decided to try ichiban for the all you can eat sushi and was surprised to the quality of all the food. The sushi was standard grade types of sushi and they were all quite good. The sushi chef was churning out fresh rolls every couple minutes. Remember the lunch price was only $7.99 a person, and wasn't expecting too much. All the other items were your regular oriental buffet fare and all were very good. Crawfish, clams, shrimp, mussels, and a hibachi grill were all included for the price.
