First time at this IHOP. Brought the fam here after spending most of the morning sledding at Mt. Charleston. It's location is convenient. There was 15mins wait at 12pm but it went by fast. Service was good and fast. Hubby's Colorado omelette looked good and it was huge too. The kids had the silver 5, they demolished it so it must be good or they could just be hungry. I had the chicken and waffles. It was ok, the waffles were kinda soggy but the chicken strips were good. The serving seems smaller than the last time we had it at another location. I always come here with good experiences until the end of my visit today. An older Hispanic lady was grunting under her breath very passive aggressive about my sons mess when she noticed it. I always clean up his mess as he's a one year old and a mess is to be expected but she set a broom & dust pan next to me and proceeded to ask us to clean because he made a mess. Right before I was going to clean it. It's extremely disheartening that a family restaurant would treat a small family like when it's known as a family restaurant on a Sunday. The server was absolutely amazing and kind but I felt really bad leaving here after that experience and it brought tears to my eyes. Busser should be retrained on proper customer service. Also should probably consider if she wants to work at a family style restaurant if she's going to be upset an a baby for being messy while eating. Never had such a poor experience at an IHOP. Been going to ihop for years and not a big fan of the menu changes. This location in particular was quite empty in the evening around 6 pm when we went for breakfast. One thing I do like is that breakfast is available but it's not the best quality. I got the country omelette which is no longer officially on the menu (but in the computer so they were willing to make it). Went for breakfast with the hubby today and ordered the pancakes combo with the blueberry pancakes along with water as we had our coffee at home earlier our bill was a little over $25.00. Our waitress was wonderful and so attentive. When she brought our food she brought my husbands food with the blueberry compote, whip cream and butter on a separate dish. After she took our order she overheard me tell my husband that he could have asked her for the toppings on the side. I was pleasantly surprised that she took the time to do this even though we didn't ask her too. I always love when people who provide exceptional customer service have a smile on their face and are pleasant to deal with. Wish I would have gotten her name, but she was a young lady with blond hair who worked the morning shift today 9/11 and was waiting on the tables in the west corner room. Hope that the management recognizes her and I would hope that they acknowledge a job well done. We love this IHOP...When my sister and I go here, we call it This is not your typical IHOP... If you look and listen, you'll see families, people talking and having an old fashion diner meal. I rarely see anyone on their devices...the music.. its 70's ish vintage. I usually get scrambled eggs and a chamomile tea, my sister get a turkey sandwich. we usually do not have an issue with this place and have been going to this location since 2016. But today presidents' day 2021 and more recently during covid times, we again tried to reserve a table for two adults and one child. called in at 0958 and was told just to come in at 1030 and no reservation was needed. arrived and was told to wait 45mins at the front. the female denied that we had a table even though the male that answered the phone told us to arrive at 1030. she said she was the only one answering phones. wasted the drive and most likely going elsewhere. place is going downhill read more

I had a really poor experience at this i hop location. Me and a few friends (4 of us total) decided to come here for lunch. There was no host so we sat down and waited for someone to come seat us (the restaurant didn't look too busy). About 15 minutes later a worker there walks by and says, "someone should be with you in a moment". We waited as asked then after almost 35 min I went in to see where we were in line and they were seating walk ins on the patio. I would love to tell the food was undercooked or the glasses were dirty or the service was bad but since we never actually got to sit down I won't be able to. I've been to many ihops around the country and most of the experiences are either really good or average, which is still okay. Mind you this is a post-pandemic review and most COVID protocols have been abandoned. My family and I went to this location for breakfast. After standing at the podium for 20 minutes without being acknowledged, a woman who I can only assume by her dress was a manager approached. But she didn't approach us but instead took a customer that was waiting to pay at the unattended cash register. That's fine because they had been waiting almost as long as we had. This same manager after finishing approaches again but then takes a delivery order from a driver who had arrived 15 min after us. Trust me, I'm not that guy but 25 minutes at a podium without being even acknowledged?!? Just to be the 3rd party in queue? There's busy and then there's clueless. This place wasn't busy. Maybe one day this review will matter to them. But chances are...it won't. Not saying don't go. Just be wary. read more

By far the worst service ever. When we came in we waited five minutes to be sat. (The restaurant was dead and yet no one cared to acknowledge us) Our server was terrible. He never checked on our table. All our drinks were empty and still never came by. Our food finally came after 20+ minutes and it was okay (as to be expected from IHOP). The real kicker is that there was a hair in our food. When we asked the manager to please send our food back she was rude and unprofessional. She gave nothing but attitude towards us and nasty disgusting glares. After talking to the manager our server confronted us about asking to speak to the manager saying it was "not necessary". (4/16/17) We come here a couple times a month for breakfast. Ellen is my favorite waitress. I usually get beef tips and pancakes yum! Recently I tried something new strawberry crepes! Yum! My new favorite! All the food is good! Only thing I've found I don't like is the strawberry splash drink. Maybe more of a kid drink. The restaurant is always clean. Usually a short wait time. Balloon guy is a fun bonus. Kids love the balloon master peices. My father-in-law has to use a walker.
