Came in at a pretty busy time, but we weren't even greeted by the staff at the door. The manager came up and saw the line and started seating people. After getting seated and waiting for about 10 minutes without being greeted at our table, the manager came back again and asked if we had been greeted yet. We told her no and she grabbed our drinks. She then talked to our server and looked in our direction. The server acknowledged what the manager said and didn't come over to our table for another 5 minutes. She finally came over and didn't even introduce herself, just asked if we were ready to order. After getting our food brought to us by someone else, she checked on us. Throughout the entire meal, she only came to our table a total of three times, and one of those was to give us the check. Our drinks were never refilled once. Came here for the Veterans Day promotion. The Red, White and Blue pancakes really hit the spot. The place is clean. Even the tea was good. But they lose two stars due to service. When I was there it wasn't busy but it took a forever for them to see me and seat me. While my order got taken relatively quickly and came out relatively quickly it took two forevers to get my check. Again, they weren't busy so there was no reason not to check on me and see that I was sitting there with an empty plate and mug. I pretty much had to trip the waiter to get my check. It had been years since I visited an iHop and it's great to know some things never change. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the most friendly and attentive host. His name was Justice and he did a great job at not only ensuring every guest was greeted upon entry, but balancing seating, to go orders, and guests trying to pay up front rather than to their servers. He remained calm, kind, and professional under stress. It was with great delight that I saw his face upon entering on my next visit as well. Between him and the happenstance of getting the same waiter each visit, Julianne, these team members are what create a loyal repeat customer because it's about more than just the food and the people are such an integral part of making a business great. We decided to spend Mother's Day at this IHOP. We enjoy eating at IHOP and was so happy that one opened by our home. I ordered the strawberry and banana french toast and asked to Please have the strawberries on the side because it's not fresh strawberries and it gets tarty for my taste. My husband just ordered a short stack, one of my girls got the cupcake pancake and the other one got an omelette. Food came strawberry all over my french toast sauce soaked thru the bread and very tart. My husbands short stack arrived 4 minutes after everyones food and it was just a short stack of plain pancakes. And all he/him could say was sorry about that...and blamed it on the cooks. Just upsetting that there was 3 tables of people (including us) there 2 whom already half eaten their food and he/him could not get a simple request. It's Mother's Day no one in that establishment greeted me...upsetting that we spent my mother's day and got poor service and poor food. Excellent Food, excellent service!! Since the new store opening I have visited this location 10 times, and let me start by saying all 10 times were 5 star service and quality tasting food. I never waited around to be sat(and yes I came during busy hours of operation) friendly staff and they even remembered my order . I placed an pick up order today for a breakfast burrito and the steak tips breakfast. The breakfast burrito was great for my bf, but my steak tips had the texture of mashed potatoes. I'm pretty sure MEAT shouldn't have that kind of squishy, yucky texture. This is the second time my pick up has been terrible, and also the second time when I showed up nobody was up front and I waited over 5 minutes for somebody to come up front. 3 stars is pushing it for this experience. It was our first time at this location, and I think I would rather drive out of my way than go back here. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant, it took a few minutes to even get our drink orders. We had to ask for the holiday menu (the main reason we went). We placed our order about 15 minutes in and waited for almost 40 minutes to get our food. Again, at that time we were the only people there. After about 25 minutes the server came and apologized for the wait but they had a large phone order they were dealing with. When our food finally came out, my pancakes and plate were cold. Just had to say that the food was great! Our server, Alyssa, was super sweet, courteous, and helpful as she answered any menu questions we had. We could tell it was busy due to the location just opening so the wait was a little longer, but overall she did what she could to make our experience enjoyable; often coming around to check up on us even though she looked to have her hands full. Came around 3am with my fiancé after a long night of going out. The place looked very empty, so I figured we would get seated right away. We were received and greeted by Andy, he was very patient with our order and had a very positive demeanor. He was very attentive to our needs and made us laugh with cracking jokes. Just left one of the worst experiences for breakfast ever. We were seated quickly, and then asked about a menu item was told to google and show the waiter a picture. He bussed a table near us and was cursing. When taking our order the waiter acted like there was a language barrier to avoid answer answering our questions. We waited at least 40 minutes for food. And it arrived small, burnt, cold or entrees were plated as sides. We were over charged on 3-4 items. English was perfect when the tab came, so it turns out their wasn't a language barrier after all. This was the 2nd time in 2 weeks that I've been to this IHOP location (only because it is the closest to my house) and they still couldn't manage to brown my hash browns on both sides. Just flip 'em over! All ya gotta do! I'll try a different location next week to see if I can get them the way I want or if the cooks just don't give a damn and cook them the way they always do. Their strawberry and cream crepes were a let down as well. They were just thick enough not to qualify them as crepes and they were rubbery. Also, the strawberry compote really over powered the cream. Unless you count the whip cream dollup on top. I was able to find a small and I do mean small criss cross drizzle on one of the strawberries, but the compote again was over powering and I couldn't taste it. What a shame. I'm sure it would have added another dimension of flavor to the crepes which really needed it. My server was kind and attentive despite being the only one there. She was on her game!! If I could give zero stars I would. This was the worst ihop I've ever been to. We were sat right when we got there only to wait 30 minutes to order. The table next to us came in 15 minutes later and got their order taken before us. Our server didn't even greet us but asked for our drinks in a rush and came back 10 minutes after with our drinks. There was a group of 8-9 people in front of us that was already finished and had their food dropped that she was taking care of. She was mostly in the back of the restaurant and came back out after to sing happy birthday for them. Then she comes to our table to take our order and says "did you see the party I had?" As an excuse as to why she didn't even look at us. I was ready to leave but I'm too nice. Food was dropped from a manager and they didn't even give us syrup or silverware! I was trying to get someone's attention for 10 minutes! Not one server or manager looked at us! Our server didn't even check on us after, not once! She only had that party that finished and us. I did not see one other table she was taking care of cause she was in the back the majority of the time. I was so fed up I asked for my check and I wanted to leave. She kept trying to make excuses as to why she didn't serve me and tried to make me feel bad?!? .. no words. I will never be back to any ihop after this.
