Came here this morning on "July 4th eve" and was taken care of by server Rene and even had a friendly visit from the manager herself-always a nice and appreciated touch. As for the grub, I opted for the "farmstyle" plate which in essence covers all your meaty desires, from ham, to bacon, to sausage, etc. Along with a few pancakes (of which I always limit myself to half of one) and a few eggs, you cant really go wrong. This particlar I-Hop is unique in the sense that depending on where your seated (or in my guests' case where she practically insists) on being seated, your offered a unique persepctive and peek into the "machine" and how the cook(s) and servers communicate and go about their business. On a lighter note, word is that since they can "see you...seeing them", your grub will be out shortly, hot, and made to order! I can say that this was definetely the case this afternoon, anyways! lol And while there is the IHOP down the street from LAX that some people end up at, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt the service and food at this Lincoln blvd location is far and away better. I frequent this IHOP and I think they have a new manager. I didn't get her name but she is a really nice blonde lady that I've never seen before. She even came up to me and asked how my meal and service were. Both were really good and I was happy to be able to tell her that. I also wish I got my server's name because I've had him a couple of times and I am always well taken care of. He makes sure I have everything I need when I need it. I ordered an omelet and it was made as I requested and very yummy. The hash browns were perfect as well. It is also always very clean. I don't think I've ever seen dirty dishes stay on a table for more that a few minutes after people leave. I will say they do get really busy rushes so sometimes you just have to have some patience. Went to IHOP for the first time in many, many years after seeing the new commercials pushing their "$6" specials. I figured, it's been around forever, how bad could it be. I remember liking it well enough as a kid. Turns out the "$6" promo is basically misleading. Only about four items actually qualify, while the rest of the menu feels surprisingly expensive for IHOP, with most entrees landing in the $15-18 range and the kids' menu just under $9. At those prices, they're competing directly with local mom-and-pop diners, where you're far more likely to get better ambience, friendlier service, and higher-quality ingredients. PASS. read more

This was one of the better iHops we've been to as of late. Inside was very clean and the waiter we had was very attentive and polite. We did go when it was not very busy though so it may be a different experience when it's a weekend or busier day. (We went on a Friday at 2pm) I got the country omelette with a side of pancakes. I left a review about a month ago with 1 star but it was meant for the previous restaurant I tried to go to where I had a very rude waiter. I hope it's been removed because I had an amazing experience at this IHOP! They actually saved our morning by giving exceptional customer service and were very fast. This is our favorite Ihop. My grandson learned his restaurant manners here when he was still in a high chair. He is now 16 and loves this Ihop as much as the rest of the family does. There is a huge lot for parking and it is free. The place is always kept super clean and they have enough staff to take good care of you. Best of all they are open a bit later now. They are no longer 24 hours, but we have walked in at 10:00 pm and was able to get seated. They have delivery and to go as well. We usually get their pancakes and egg dishes. They are just the best. Everything is always hot and fresh. They have a good selection of pancakes and all of them are wonderful. They also have good burgers and a few dinner items that we like, but go for the pancakes. They have a new item, a breakfast sort of salad with egg, hash browns, bacon bits and some other things that I do not recommend (note the photo). We found it very bland. The coffee there is so good and their steak and eggs are great if you are super hungry. They also have a Senior Menu and a Kid's Menu, both are very nice. The service is always the best. The staff is kind and very patient with kids. It is just a great pancake house, so go and have fun. read more

We had a wonderful experience here. We went Sunday morning at 10:30. We were greeted promptly and warmly by two staff members. Our server was equally friendly, and the restaurant was well staffed. Our food came quickly and was delicious. I had blueberry pancakes and coffee, and my husband had the Split Decision breakfast. First they have drastically raised their prices. Given that it's California I can I understand. However on top of increase in price they also significantly shrank their portion sizes! You literally get HALF of the food you used to get. It's just not worth it. At this location they also don't leave anything out for you, so you're constantly having to ask the waitress for something. All of the tables have the bare minimum. No ketchup, no hot sauce, single items of sugar for coffee, one syrup.... It's just a joke. Furthermore upsetting that the waitress keeps forgetting to bring things because she thought they were at the tables already lol. Won't be coming back to an IHOP for the foreseeable future. We came in around 5 p.m. because we wanted breakfast for dinner. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement. The plate I was served was the most unappealing and depressing plate I have ever seen. The pancakes were bland, tasteless and undercooked. The sausages were like small pencils and not very good. No more boysenberry syrup either. My husbands meal was likewise bland and unappealing. The prices at IHOP certainly increased even with the shrinkage in portion size. IHOP used to be a 24-hour restaurant before COVID-19 and this location was always reliable, but has become just as expensive as most other area alternatives. The interior could use a face lift and now closes at 10:00 PM as they were turning people away with only one server on staff and no cashier. Our waiter was Roberto who was very professional and did a great job. Unfortunately it took about 30 minutes to receive our food as I only saw one person in the kitchen. There was three of us and we ordered the Philly Cheese Steak, the California Roasted Turkey sandwich and the Sirloin Tips, Eggs & Pancakes along with one large Orange Juice , and the Watermelon/Lemonade Splasher. The total was $67.39 which I thought was rather high for what regarded as average in taste. I left a $13.00 Tip because Roberto is a great server and should not be penalized for circumstances beyond his personal control. I wish I could recommend, but I would think twice about coming back. $70 for breakfast, and two sandwiches is just too high for fast food that took way to long to prepare as my eggs were overcooked. Even the pancakes were not very hot, and you the run the risk of dining when the place is understaffed and in a closing mode. Never had a bad experience at this ihop! I wish I can say the same for all the others. It's usually pretty slow, I've come in at every hour of the day. Service is always attentive and very friendly. The staff is nice and accommodating, the food is always great. During Covid19 they set up a tent in the parking lot and had outdoor seating. They had all safety guidelines and protocols in place and we had a great dining experience for breakfast. This location currently has daily deals for breakfast so be sure to take advantage of those! Right now they are doing a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich for only 3.99. While I love trying new breakfast spots all over LA, sometimes you just have to be basic and go to ihop. They never mess up bacon, eggs and crispy hash browns. My favorite pancakes are harvest grain n nut. So good!!!!! read more

I stopped in here to pick up a couple burgers and drinks to go because it was across the road from where we were moving out of a storage room. We used to come here for breakfast when we lived down the road so I figured it would've ok. I was greeted at the door, given menus and ordered. They were quick- it took only about 10 minutes to get the food. The cheeseburgers looked really nice but lacked flavor-even with the sauce they put on. Seasoning may have helped. The French fries had only about 12 in the large container. And the 2 sodas were small for the $6. The only decent part of the meal were the onion rings. IHOP had a big campaign about IHOB (for burgers) but they need to work on them a lot more before they can call themselves that. I definitely wouldn't go back to this IHOP. We wanted breakfast, they were open, they had breakfast. That's really about the entire extent of the review, but I'll elaborate because I'm pretty sure the site won't let me stop there. I had the pancakes, because I like pancakes. And they have blueberry syrup, which I also like, so that was good. And I had eggs and sausage, which were cooked the way I asked. And a cup of hot tea. Now, I can complain about the tea because if you have a cup of coffee, they'll come by and fill it up again but if you have tea, they give you water. That's not tea. Tea bags aren't reusable. They have a one-cup lifetime and that's it. But if you want more tea, they charge you for another cup. And how much do they charge? Over a dollar, when a box of 100 tea bags costs about $4. It wouldn't break them to give you a second tea bag when you order a cup of tea. But they don't. You get one. I think we should throw the tea bags in the harbor and see if that gets any attention. Today we had a party of 9 people and we went for bunch. Our server was excellent and was always there when we needed him. Ernesto remembered all of our names and called us bro, it was a very good environment and i've never had a sever that remember all the names. I ended up getting Breakfast Sampler and it was very good, I would ask for the bacon crispy. The pancakes were amazing as well as the eggs but the hash browns were a bit overcooked. During the time we were here the wonka specials were in the store and my brother got the drink. He thought it was amazing because it had sprinkles and cotton candy which are two things he loves. As a bartender who is normally seeking food around 3am, iHop is a reasonable choice. Yes, you can find better food and better service but considering they have a skeleton crew at 3am, are conveniently located, and is comparable to Jack in the Box you gotta give 'em some credit. I refuse to drive to Swingers or Norms, but for the record the 24 hour Killer Shrimp Cafe in the Marina isn't bad. The country fried steak or the breakfast sampler is always a good choice, but what really surprised me was the burger. Have I never gotten a burger from iHop? I knew that for a second they were calling themselves iHob or international house of burgers, but I thought that was a marketing gimmick. I got a delicious bacon cheese burger on a brioche bun w/ everything on it, a side of fries and couldn't be happier. IHOP is not the same IHOP you may remember in the good old days. The food has improved immensely. The servers are always friendly and attentive. The menu is huge now with many new dishes. The prices have gone up but so has everything since the pandemic. I love going to IHOP. It's my go to place when I need a quick bite at a reasonable price.
