I'm revising my positive review for the IHOP in Queen Creek. Our party of five had breakfast there this morning. A group of 10 or so came in after us and got their meals at least 10 minutes before our food was served. Then, 3 at our table got their meals and were halfway done eating before I got my omelet which was room temperature. Clearly it had been sitting for some time. (I did not complain because I was worried that they would take it to be reheated and it would be a long time to get it back.) The manager came to the table to apologize to my husband who had not yet been brought his meal. She said that the kitchen was swamped, his meal was being cooked and she would take the cost of it off our bill. It finally arrived after two of our group were already done. She gave him a coupon for a free meal, which was appropriate under the circumstances. I previously praised IHOP for preparing the omelets with the extra ingredients on the inside. Evidently they no longer do this. Two at our table ordered omelets and both had the extras piled on top rather than as a filling. We will go back to use the coupon for the free meal but if we experience service like this, we definitely won't go back. read more

Where do I start! How about read your own Menu. I ordered a Cobb salad, add avocado, ranch dressing, and a cup of soup. I received the bowl not cup of soup at the same time, but that's ok. I said I ordered a cup, not a bowl! Server said we don't really have a cup anymore, but I'll charge you for a cup on your bill. Ok fine. I start eating my soup and realize I have no dressing. BTW menu says salad will be tossed in ranch. Had to get up and walk around to find anyone. Got the dressing, realize I also have no blue cheese or bacon on my Cobb salad. Sent the waiter back again. He comes with the blue cheese no bacon. Meanwhile my romainless pile of spring mix is getting soggy by the second, and he says we're making bacon. Really! How do you not have bacon prepped. I tell him never mind. He asks if I need a manager, I decline. He brings the bill, and guess who got charged for a bowl not cup of soup! Yup! This time we ask for the manager. We are trying to explain our frustration, but she just wants to give me something free rather then listen. I even told her "you are not listening" and she kept saying let me get you some free soup. I already had a bowl when I only wanted a cup..No lady I don't want any free soup. Needless to say I won't be back. Here's my suggestion, tell your staff to be honest, post a menu in the kitchen for the cooks, and call around for romaine...everyone else has it. How do you screw up a salad. Worst customer service ever. Took 10 minutes to get seated and another 20 minutes before I even got acknowledged by a waiter. Food is decent, if you ever get it. Seriously the worst experience I've ever had in a public place ever. The waitress and manager were nice but that's where the pleasantries ended. Waited almost an hour for our meal and when it arrived not only was half our order incorrect but half of it was also cold. They then replaced my 3 year old sons incorrect pancakes with the correct pancakes plus an added black curly hair. Not even sure why we came here again. Never coming back. I will drive 20 minutes out of my way to a different IHOP. Would like to note the manager comped our meal which was nice since I didn't even eat my food. read more

The place has an odd odor to it, service was exceptionally slow, my order came out twice incorrect, the toast was cold and the place is not clean. Nothing else needs to be said after that, very disappointing for an IHOP. Save yourself a trip and disappointment, visit another place for breakfast in Queen Creek, not too many too choose from but the drive is for sure worth it. read more

Terrible breakfast. I ordered for pickup and was told it would be ready in 30 mins. After arriving 35 mins later the food order had not even been put in!! After standing around for another 30 mins the food was finally given to me without so much as an apology. The staff even had the audacity to ask me if when I called that someone quote "picked up the phone." I will never eat here again. read more

This place sucks! We went in at 1:00am on July 5th. Only two tables had people. We waited to be seated and no one came up so I walked in a little to see the dining room to see if we could catch an employee. The phone started ringing so we were sure someone would come up. This kid with curly black hair who saw me when I looked into the dining room walks up with a cell phone on his ear talking to someone. He could have at least looked at us and acknowledge that we were standing there letting us know he was on the phone. No he walked up to the ringing phone just as it stopped ringing and still on the cell phone walked away again to the back!!! We waited a little longer and I looked in the dining room again and saw a lady with blonde hair pulled up who also didn't acknowledge us. So we decided to leave. As we were getting in our car I saw the lady walk up to the front. I get it was a holiday but the holiday is OVER at 1:00 in the morning. I'm sorry you have to work but that's your JOB!!! read more

The only thing it has going for it that it is new and just opened up. Service is horrible. I ordered some pancakes with a variety of fruit, yogurt, and nuts. After taking over fifteen minutes, I received only pancakes with sliced bananas. I told them that it was supposed to include the other items. They told me that their ordering system was down and that they would correct it. They brought out additional fruit (but no yogurt or nuts). I had to complain 3 times before they finally got it right. We've been here a few times with a BOGO coupon. The customer service is great, food comes out quickly and they have a fairly large menu to choose from. We have always just gotten breakfast items and all have been delicious. I highly recommend, in the winter, to try their different flavored hot cocoas. So yummy! read more

I've came here a few times since I moved out to San Tan Valley and a lot of times I wasn't impressed. Last time I was here we had a waitress who didn't refill our drinks once so we sat there with empty drinks for a while and then we waited more than an hour for our food and it wasn't that busy. Today we went and it was perfect. There was a girl by the name of Christa who took care of us and she was the best waitress we had at this location. Our drinks never sat empty because she refilled them on time and she kept checking on us to make sure everything was okay. She was excellent and made us restore our feelings toward this place. We left her a real good tip cuz she was awesome. Next time we eat there we are asking for her. read more

I ordered eggs bacon and pancakes. My plate was covered in grease. There was food all over my chair but my server was super nice. The bathroom was very gross, it smelled like a moldy rag and there was toilet paper everywhere. The hostess asked me to wait because the place was so dirty. She wasn't lying this place was dirty. This place was absolutely horrible. Food came to us cold. Noone came back for refills of our drinks. My boyfriend called the manager over and complained which she did do a good job at adjusting our bill. But still will NEVER visit this location again. Great food! We had breakfast and not only was th service great but the food was excellent!! I would recommend the pastry waffle (not sure what the correct name for it is) but it is filled with a delicious cream pudding and bananas topped with sweet caramel sauce.. yummy!! read more

Quick service and adequate food, plus open 24hrs.

I have a dairy allergy and they went out of their way to accommodate me. Apparently the eggs commonly have pancake mix in them. They special made my eggs with oil and also special made my French w/o dairy. We had a great waitress and I really appreciate them going above and beyond. Often when you go to a chain restaurant of this caliber they're unfamiliar with what options are dairy free or even how they're cooked. Management even checked to ensure everything was A-OK. I will continue to go back for breakfast here anytime! read more

So a month ago, Me and a friend came here on a trip to see family in Arizona. This place was EXTREMELY SLOW WITH ONLY ABOUT 4 OTHER SMALL FAMILIES HERE. TOOK US OVER AN HOUR (maybe even 2) TO GET OUR FOOD! I found out something (I forgot what it was) went out in the kitchen. We patiently waited for our food. My server was very nice and optimistic about the situation. But that still couldn't change this terrible experience. read more

I really don't like this location. Service is awful. And they c an never get my order right. Which doesn't make sense, since I don't add or substitute anything to the dish. I got the spinach egg white omelette... They forgot the spinach. Sent it back, then they forgot the cheese. Ordered through door dash and had some pancakes and waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and an omelette with fruit. They didn't give us any syrup, just ketchup and utensils. We just moved into a new place and have no syrup at home. What am I supposed to do, drown my waffles in ketchup? I didn't even order hash browns/potatoes/fries. What's the ketchup even for? I ordered in for a reason, so that I wouldn't have to go out. I'm busy with finals and don't have time to cook or shop. Total fail, I'm done with IHOP. Service was very good considering it was on Christmas Day and very busy. My only complaint was that the egg in my Colorado omelette was paper thin and hence it cooked too much (kind of crispy). Manager said she would check on their pre-made 'egg batter' for proper consistency (but no offer to compensate me - probably because I had already ate 2/3 of it I guess). Long wait,there were 5 of us and we all had separate bills. All of us paid and she gave us the bill back and she left our money in one for the payment folders and we thought she took money from our other bill soo we left. Then we remembered we left one of our left overs there soo we quickly drove back and it took us 4 minutes to get back to the restaurant and we showed up and one of our friends went inside to grab the left overs and the manager and the sever ran up to him saying they were going to call the police because we stole. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Me and my family went to this location tonight and the hostess was super sweet and nice and seated us right away. We sat there for 20 minutes with waiters intentionally ignoring our table. No one came by to even acknowledge that we were there! We went to the hostess and politely asked who our waiter was and that we had been waiting there for 15 minutes with no service and that another table who was seated 10 minutes after us got their drinks and had ordered. She went to tell a waiter and we watched as all the waiters hid in the kitchen and would periodically look out at our table! Eventually one came out and we heard the manager tell her that we had been waiting for 10 minutes without service. She told him that she was simply too busy to deal with that table... TOO BUSY???!? The restaurant was super empty and there was a least 4 waiters there! After waiting an additional 5 minutes we left! HORRIBLE SERVICE! The only good thing about our visit was the sweet hostess who was apologizing as we left. We went to another IHOP who served us promptly and kindly! Won't come back to this location again! read more

Super slow service and low quality food. The waitress had an attitude and made the experience worse. Not worth my time nor my money.

Don't waste your time like we just did! It was a spirit night for my kids school , and when we arrived there were maybe 5 tables seated. Fast forward an hour, still no food the waitress said it would be right out and 20 min later still nothing. I asked her for more water when she came by to tell us about the food, and never even got that. To top it off, I was told by another family that attends our school that they would not give any credit unless you had a flyer. NEVER, has any other restaurant refused to give credit to the kids who attended. They simply have a sheet with teachers and just make tally marks. I've been to this location twice. The first time we ordered the fish fry we had to send it back twice. They kept serving raw fish. It's been awhile since then. Tried I Hop again tonight and they messed up the order again. They could not figure out the difference from tortillas and a quesidilla. Waited for 1 hour for food. At first i wasn't going to complain but after a few days to think about it I decided I should so others will know what to expect if they expect to dine here and get good service and good food. i can't speak for the food because we never did get any. Sat in lobby 10 minutes. there were 3 other customers in restaurant when we got seated at 1:55. i know because I texted a friend as soon as we got seated. 10 minutes later got a menu.15 minutes later got our drinks.15 minutes later got our order in for the big Cheeseburgers. 1/2 hour later no Cheeseburgers, no waitress, tables around us were still dirty with food from previous customers,one still had cash from where someone had paid with the tab still laying there, at 2:10 my wife and I got up and left the restaurant with still no one around. An hour and 5 minutes for a Cheeseburger is just uncalled for under any circumstances. I'm not one to give advise but seems the owner or manager should read the review left. Had I read the reviews we wouldn't have bothered even going. Thats sad that a beautiful restaurant in Queen Creek starting a new menue has so many negative reviews. Brand new! Nice addition to the Queen Creek area! Every time a new restaurant opens in Queen Creek, if you live here, you already know you are going to have to WAIT! It's new and everyone wants to try it, there are a lot of people out here, with little options. Besides the wait my family and I really enjoyed our breakfast together! Everyone was very friendly, each waitress and waiter helped the other as a team, which you don't see much in restaurants now a days. Each table is assigned one or two people and that is who takes care of you. Each person here had no problem going around helping the other out. We were taken care of by at least 6 people it was different, nice and everyone was on the ball. I ordered the Big Steak Omelet, it was full of flavor, fluffy.... taste buds went bananas! And needless to say there were pancakes.... Lots of pancakes! Delicious! Keep it up IHop ill be back soon! read more
