What can I say? All In-n-Out are all the same in terms of taste and flavor which is great accomplishment. Their meat, however is getting thinner and thinner. That goes for all locations. Nonetheless, I always get double double combo with well done fries. This particular location is always busy compare to the new one that opened up off Lakewood Blvd and Carson St area. With that said their parking lot is always cramped and busy. Particularly their drive through. Staff in this location are very friendly though which is great. My advice, since drive through is always busy and congested, do not park next to the entrance as you will get a hard time getting out because of the drive through traffic. read more

Went inside, cocky kid named Ryan took my tiny tiny simple order, hamburger no tomato with onions and pickles, and (not for me) cheeseburger animal style no tomato with pickles. Somehow managed to futz that up and gave me the animal with tomato no lettuce, dunno what the F that was about but hey I'm sure ol' Ryan is the ultimate professional and really really good at what he does. Even though the person who received the burger and myself were both quite puzzled by it. Fries were way undercooked, a few of them tasted completely raw. I just had a protein burger at in &out. I just looked up the weight of the burger on there website and it say a single was 2oz and a double would be 4oz. I have been in restaurants and catering along time. This location in Long Beach I would say a single there is about 3/4 of an ounce for a single and this protein burger there was barely any meat for a double maybe 1.5 oz. When I think of In-N-Out I think of quality. The burgers are high quality never frozen. Fresh cut fries. Delicious shakes and the drinks are crisp and bubbly. I love the root beer here. If you are new to California they have a secret menu. You can google this secret menu. They are basic code words to dressing burgers and fries a certain way. I love the customer service here. Face to face ordering. Repeating orders before you pay. Always ask us if we want anything like spread or ketchup. Always greet you and speak well and clear. I know that In-N-Out doesn't really need another review, but it's middle of December and I'm sitting outside at this I-N-O in 70 degree weather, wearing shorts. Life doesn't get much better than that, so what the heck. All locations are constantly busy and this one is no exception. This I-N-O location is one of my favorites because the employees are extremely friendly, the food is made expeditiously and they have a nice outdoor eating space. It's located in a very busy shopping center, and the drive-thru line is a disaster because quite a few parking spaces are virtually unusable due to the drive-thru line. This place rocks on both of those! I was driving from SLO to SD and found this to be a nice pit stop along the way. It's about 3-5 minutes off the freeway, and had plenty of parking. Stephanie and Luc helped me out while I was there, and I was impressed with their customer service. Everyone seemed happy to work there, as the crowd got bigger the service stayed on point. My one surprise was the huge water cups. It sounds silly but usually water cups are tiny and have to be refilled constantly. I'm one of those people from New York who are insane about In and Out Burger. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE In and Out Burger. I've only had it like 3 times so far but In and Out definitely delivers an experience that you just can't find in New York. Makes sense that they can't bring it to NYC because In and Out Burger is the antithesis to EVERYTHING the NYC metropolitan area stands for. Came to this Long Beach location last September when I visited. I was like damn, there be palm trees everywhere; what is going on? I got a double double, animal fries, and a soda. Came out to a little over $10. It was soooo good. I'm not a huge fan of thousand Island, but there's an unmistakeable cohesiveness about biting into it that is euphoric. The double double tasted so fresh and meaty. Certainly this is the best fast-food chain burger I've ever had. I had it again before I left and got regular fries because I couldn't handle animal again. It was fantastic, again. Prices are also awesome. The double double meal is like $7? Not even $8 total. Perfect (in Street Fighter announcer voice). Seating was ample and everyone inside was in a good mood. I was like damn people in California are just chilling. Service was also awesome! Friendly high school dudes took my order with courtesy, respect, and a smile. I didn't know this In-N-Out existed and it's the one closest to where I live, so very good to know. I really liked this location because the girl at the register was so nice. I had never tried a grilled cheese here, so when I asked her about it, she definitely sold me and told me how it's her go-to meal at work since she's a vegetarian. She was super nice and energetic. The grilled cheese itself was super flavorful and even though I'm a carnivore, I would definitely get it again. What stands out about this In-N-Out? Well, FIRST OF ALL, it's indoors. Now THAT is a PLUS. Not to mention, BUT they have outdoor seatings as well. It all depends on your preference. My daughter and I were eating dinner in the dining room at the Traffic Circle location in LB and I couldn't help but overhear a worker saying some really rude things to 2 of his employees. It bothered me so much that I had to walk up to the counter and ask for extra spread just so that I can check his name on his badge. He actually turned out to be a manager of some sort. His name is Melvin. The incident wouldn't have bothered me so much if it wasn't for his demeanor and his tone while talking down to 2 female employees who looked to be teenagers. He said "hey! listen the first time i'm not gonna tell you again!" Instead of being a little more patient with the other girl during a refund to a customer, he yelled at her saying or "watch out i'll do it instead!" all while shoving this poor girl out of the way. The staff is incredibly attentive and ensure the most efficient service during covid season. Customer service is exemplary and they are patient enough even during those custom made orders. They didn't have my order ready when I went through the drive thru, and the man at the window tried to hand me the wrong order. He proceeded to tell me to pull up to the front and they would "find me". I said "that's totally fine but what do you mean pull up to the front, where would you like me to go" and he cut me off and said "we have to remake it and we need to let the other people through so pull up to the front" I said "I understand that but where-" and he cut me off again and said pull up to the front. I had to cut him off and say "you're not listening to me, where would you like me to go because I'm not sure where the front is when it is blocked by the drive thru line" he continued to say "pull up to the front" I went inside and asked to speak to the manager. The manager couldn't even look me in the face when explaining that this employee was speaking to me like I was stupid.
