I haven't tried their bowls yet, but L was thirsty so we ordered some drinks. It says it helps detox your body, but the LemonAid and the Arnold Karma were just so strong. It has a lot of spices and cayenne in it, so it's not something I'd want to drink on a hot day to refresh my body. It's literally drinking a spicy sour drink. I did not feel good after drinking this. I was so bloated and maybe it gave me heartburn. L had a sip and couldn't have more since the drink wasn't that cold at the time. It definitely tasted better over a ton of ice and watered down. It's my go to comfort food place inside Urban space... Their green felafal with chia seed roti is something I can eat every day of the week. I think they add lots of ghee (clarified butter) to their chia seed dough and that really does the trick (I could be wrong though) The green felafals are soft, well made and are simply delicious. My favorite is the golden curry chicken and it really never disappoints. Consistency is very solid and the place was a huge hit when I worked in midtown. The portion sizes are a good size and surprisingly, I don't want to take a nap in the middle of the office after eating this (unlike other delicious Indian food). Walked by this place a few times close by my work and finally decided to come and check it out. One of my favorite new lunch spots. Nothing like having a filling delicious lunch and not wanting to fall asleep at 2pm. I actually ordered 2 times in one week here. Both times the chicken curry bowl, once with cauliflower rice and the second time with quinoa (and the banana bread because it looked yummy when I saw it. The curry bowl was super flavorful but not overwhelming or over seasoned. The juicy tomatoes and fresh cucumber gave the bowl a lot of flavor contrast that I love. The portion I also found very satisfying. The vegan banana bread was also super moist. The place looked very big and airy. But It does seem a little disorganized for ordering there-I can see it getting pretty hectic when it's packed.
