    Chocolate Chip Cookie

In the world of commercial cookies, Insomnia Cookies is the most affordable - and lucky for me the one with no line. Came here on a weekday evening for a post workout snack. The service was quite slow, despite the store being almost empty. The cookie felt too sweet.

My incorrect order: supposed to be double chocolate mint and double chocolate chunk but I got a regular chocolate chunk instead.

Insomnia is a grab and go type of cookie store, pretty small inside. This place is quite consistently terrible. The first time I went, I had placed a pickup order through Uber Eats. When I arrived, the door was locked and the store appeared closed. After waiting for about 10 minutes, a staff member finally opened the door and handed over our box of cookies, but they seemed pretty annoyed at us for being there, despite it being open hours. The second time I went, pretty consistent experience of the employee talking down to us for asking a question and appearing impatient. Third time: I ordered two cookies via their website, and after I picked up and left I realized they had gotten one of my cookies wrong. It was so disappointing because the order was so simple. They're not baking the cookies from scratch; they're literally grabbing cookies for the order. The cookies are decent, which is why I'm giving this spot 2 stars instead of 1. However, the employees here could use some serious training.

I love the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth collab! The cookies were very yummy. They weren't kidding bout how good they were. The cookies were crunchy and soft on the inside. The girl servicing us was very friendly and I got to select my box. It was a convenient spot on the way home.

I've never heard of Insomnia Cookies until they recently opened near work. Small little shop that's bright and clean. Upon entering no one was inside then a worker came from the back. They have variety of classic, premium and vegan cookies. Got the classic 6 box with 3 classic flavors, double chocolate was light and kinda tasted like dark chocolate. The chocolate chip was one of the favorites and white macadamia was a bit too sweet. The vegan, birthday cake is a sugar cookie with sprinkles, double chocolate and chocolate chunk were all light tasting and not too sweet. Next time will try the other classic cookies.

Surprised this location doesn't have a higher rating... No line and easily got my 4 deluxe order ($17). Cookies were warm, gooey on the inside and has a light crispiness on the outside. The perfect cookie if I may say so myself. Confetti - pretty much a birthday party with white chocolate chips Triple chocolate chip - your standard chocolate chip but with more chocolate S'mores - my favvvvv literally a s'mores in cookie form Peanut butter and chocolate chip - a Reese's in cookie form

Finally, a shop that satiates my need for a sweet fix that is open until midnight in Mission Bay! The neighborhood has been in desperate need of such a shop that has made me envious of more established and older neighborhoods in SF like the Mission, the Marina, or North Beach areas, which typically have at least a handful of food establishments that are open quite late. I was very excited that this opened around the same time as another long-anticipated food shop along the same street, but I find that the sweet fragrance of cookies wafting out of the clean little storefront quite alluring, especially as I walk my dog throughout the day. I finally had an opportunity to stop in and grab a 6 pack of cookies that was packaged in a cute little box. I highly recommend their classic chocolate chip cookie in Vegan as well as their classic chocolate chip with regular dairy -- It's amazing, but the difference is so irrelevant, both chocolate chips tasted amazing. Another huge plus is that all the cookies are packaged and given to you warm, so be sure to grab a tea or a glass of milk pronto when you get home with your goods! Definitely will be back, I am very interested to try their cookie ice cream sandwiches. Wonderful staff that are quick with getting your orders right and ready. I hope they keep up the quality and maintain the shop as clean and neat as they do now!

Delicious and tasty treats for the case of the Mondays. Sweet and soft cookies are my favorite. Enjoyed every bite.

What type of cookie is this ?! It's flat, unappealing, soggy, and unacceptable. Yelp wants another 85 characters to post this review, so here they are.

Lol look, i get the issues with the customer service at this place but the employee with the long hair I absolutely love. Since i only go at night thats the only employee I interact with and I think they're honestly a lot of fun... even tho their attitude is turned up to 100 whenever anyone walks in but honestly it doesn't offend me in the least. I go specifically for that person because the energy is giving me LIFE. Cookies are good too, but I want to be that employees friend. Seriously, thats like my new favorite human

I personally don't think you can go wrong with some late night insomnia cookies :) I got an assortment of the half dozen cookies last time I came here. They prepared the box super quick, and the cookies were warm and gooey. My favorite was the double chocolate mint!

If you're looking to satisfy a late night sweets craving, look no further than Insomnia Cookies! Insomnia Cookies is open until very late and have a variety of cookies to try. I passed by Insomnia Cookies on the way to work and had to stop by afterwards. I ordered a 6-pack of Classic Cookies. My favorite cookie was their Double Chocolate Chunk, which was very warm and gooey. I would definitely recommend eating the cookie as soon as possible since they become a little hard over time. I will definitely come back sometime to try their unique flavors!

1 chocolate chunk cookie, 1 peanut butter fudge, peanut butter ice cream

walkin by late night after the game finally decided to try it & i have no regrets. warm fresh cookies & peanut butter flavored ice cream was smack. gentleman working there suggested the peanut butter ice cream over the cookie dough n did not disappoint. i grew up on CREAM n insomnia's cookiewich was honestly way better in my opinion. 10/10 ill be back

First trying Insomnia cookies EVER and I can see what the hype is all about! You can smell the delicious scent of fresh cookies right when you enter and the store's interior is clean and neat. They have a large menu of cookies, ice cream, ice cream cookies... and even cookie cakes! There was also a fridge full of milk - because you know that pairs best with cookies. ;-) Even though I wanted to try the whole menu, this time I opted for the white chocolate macadamia and oatmeal raisin cookies ($2.75 each). They came warm and were a decent size. The cookies were chewy in the center and slightly crispy at the edges. I thought that they were packed well, and the best part was that I didn't feel the normal feeling of guilt after having a sweet treat! I appreciated the inclusivity of vegan and gluten-free options (although I didn't see lactose-free milk). Would definitely stop by again to try the rest of their menu!

I tried the regular croissant, the almond croissant, and the kouign-amann. My favorite was 100% the almond croissant. All were amazing but the flavors and textures were truly exceptional. While I was visiting friends in the Inner Richmond, we were tempted by the aroma of butter and decided to brave the line to try one of these legendary pastries. While the line stretched halfway down the block, it moved quickly, and we only waited in line for about 15 minutes. The ordering process was efficient, and we were able to pick up our pastries in a couple of minutes once we were at the front of the line. The menu is short and simple, and I decided to try the almond croissant, one of the classics. I enjoyed my croissant when I got home, and immediately noticed how decadent and heavy the pastry was (I recommend splitting it). The outside was very toasted - almost bitter - and the inside of the pastry tasted slightly underbaked. On a more positive note, I appreciated how the almond filling tasted purely of freshly-ground almonds; simple and naturally sweet without the overpowering almond-extract flavor. While this first experience did not quite live up to my expectations, I would still come back to try the other pastries.

It ended up taking us over two hours to get our pastries, and by the time we reached the front, some items had already sold out. This time, we decided to arrive right when the line opened at 7:45am on a Friday. Personally, I'd rather get there early, wait a little over an hour, and have the first pick of pastries than arrive later, wait even longer, and risk missing out on items. We were the third party in line and placed our order around 9:05am. By 9:15am, we had our pastries and drinks. After our first visit, I wasn't completely convinced the wait was worth it. The pastries were good, but the long line and wait time didn't feel justified. This visit, however, may have changed my mind. We ordered: * Madame Lorraine * Chorizo & Tot Croquiche * Morty P * Strawberry Vanilla Bean Bun * Pistachio Cardamom Sugar Croissant * Rocky Road Double Chocolate Cookie * Classic Croissant We also got two drinks: the S'mores Mocha and the Cherry Vanilla Almond Cappuccino. Don't skip their drinks, their specialty coffees are just as creative as their pastries. I really appreciate their rotating menu. Their pastries are always so creative, and I love that they experiment with unique flavor combinations that you don't typically see at a bakery. Some items are definitely more memorable than others, but I enjoy that there's always something new to try. Their pastries are well executed. The croissants are flaky and buttery. This visit, my personal favorite was the Chorizo & Tot Croquiche. Overall, this visit was a much better experience than my first. If you're willing to wait in line, I think it's worth checking out. Otherwise, you can always try your luck with their Hotplate presale.

We also tried the classic butter bun, which was excellent, but the guava version was the winner for us. For something savory, we ordered the salted egg yolk and BBQ pork bun, and it was delicious. The combination of sweet, salty, and savory flavors worked really well together. We also tried the pandan bun, which was fine, but it didn't quite stand out compared to the other flavors. I wish we had time to come back and sample more of the menu. I had my eye on the matcha and red bean varieties and would have loved to try them. I also ordered a Hong Kong milk tea and it was rich and strong. They even serve it with a mini warm bolo bun on top of the cup, which is both adorable and delicious. Pineapple King is the kind of place I would happily travel back to San Francisco for. Now if they could just open a location in LA my life would be complete!

It's definitely a busy area so expect to park in one of the nearby residential areas or be extremely and walk/bike/bus here! Upon stepping into the tiny shop, I was enveloped in the sweet smell of chocolate chip cookies. It was tempting to put that in my bag, but I stuck with my game plan. They do self serve for all the baked goods and drinks except the pizza and focaccia. You tell the cashier what you grabbed. There's self serve complimentary water on the side too. Got a pecan swirl, one of each square focaccia flavors, and a half pizza (hot). The pizza flavor of the day was triple mushroom with sesame ginger garlic vinaigrette and mozzarella. It was 10/10 delicious!! Do note that they don't heat up the focaccia. Personally, after tasting everything, I'd say the pizza is more worth it than the focaccia "pizzas". The pecan roll was quite addicting too. You can also skip the line if you want to order online on their website and schedule a pick up time, but my gift card didn't work so I just waited in line.
