Cookies taste good but still on fence if worth the price tag. Service is nothing to rave about, really bare minimum. I guess they expect the cookies to be so good that they will sell themselves...that's still TBD. Nice storefront overall. Shop feels open, clean, and sterile. Definitely could do something with the open space. Maybe some seating but not sure they want folks hanging around, more just buy your cookies and be on your way.

Great cookies, been visiting their shop in San Mateo for years, including before the pandemic. Awesome there's now a location in SF as Antoine's took over a casual seafood restaurant. However, this location's staff needs warmth or customer service training. No greeting, no service, rang my items up on (12/21) Sunday afternoon around 4pm, and that was it. Literally, had no words of exchange. Not looking for anything over the top, but a simiple hello and thank you would suffice. Ample metered street parking and located right off many MUNI bus lines. Will try Antoine's in SF again when I'm in this part of town. #50/2025

66% Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies ($2.75 each)

The City has AHHHmazing bakeries, some with bomb cookies but not everyone has $5-$6+ to drop on one cookie on the regular. OFC, there's a $10 exception for the schlong cookie in the Castro. *wink wink* I'm a big fan of Antoine's Cookies and always bring back some cookies when in the PA area. The owner, Antoine started baking cookies in his home in 2013 and opened his 1st location in 2016 in San Mateo. And, now his Antoine's has a location in the city at former Woodhouse Fish (4th location). C O O K I E / F L A V O R S * Chocolate Chip * Toffee * Cookies 'N Cream * Snickerdoodle * Honeycomb * Peanut Buttercup * White Chocolate Macadamia * 66% Dark Chip * Oatmeal Chip * Walnut Chip * Semi-Sweet Macadamia $2.75 per a cookie. Baker's dozen available. Cookies are freshly baked about every 2 hours. Leftover cookies are sold the next day at a discount. And, there's a microwave for you to warm them up. While they're all good, I'm basic so my fav is the 66% Dark Chocolate Chip. The cookies are crispy and chewy around the edges while soft and moist in the center. Nicely buttery and not overly sweet. Plenty of melty Guittard organic dark chocolate wafers. Compared to Anthony's (my other fav), Antoine's cookies are a wee bit thicker and softer in the center. There's several tables to enjoy your cookies. Parking is a pain (you'll be circling) so take public transit or a rideshare. Overall, happy to see Antoine's Cookies expand to the city. They're delicious, great quality, and most importantly affordable!

I usually always make a stop to the San Mateo location when I'm there. So I'm so happy that there's finally one in the city! Came in on grand opening day expecting a whole ordeal, but nothing. Just a couple signs on the window. The staff didn't really advertise anything. No special decor or anything. A bunch of cookie boxes prepped and to the side of the counter. I did notice they're starting to sell cookie dough. That's a nice option. Got two cookies - one cookies and cream and one toffee. Cookies were good. Congrats on the new location! Will return soon.

I've been waiting for them to open for a few months now--so happy to be making this review finally! The person working there was so nice and happy to answer any question I had. They were also super patient with me as I chose which cookie flavors to try. There's 3 tables for indoor seating. Things that are also there but I didn't take a photo of: cookie dough in a fridge section, the menu ($2.75 per cookie and $32 for a baker's dozen) and their drink selection (milk and water). Here's what I got and my review of each flavor. Fresh cookies/Day of cookies: - chocolate chip: not overly sweet, chocolate is in chunks which was a nice surprise. not too hard on the outside, but soft inside. - toffee: super soft but holds its shape. the toffee doesn't get stuck to your teeth which is always a plus. - honeycomb: an advanced chocolate chip cookie. the honeycomb flavor is subtle but the crunch is noticeable. this chocolate chip cookie actually has chips instead of the chunks like the regular one has. Day old cookies (all of these flavors came in one bag--pictured): - peanut butter chocolate: super soft despite being a day old. not too overwhelmingly peanut butter. - white chocolate: not bad but not something special either. hard exterior and soft interior. - dark chocolate: chocolate chunks again. at first i couldnt tell if it was dark chocolate but then it hits you hard. definitely not a dark chocolate fan but if you are, this is perfect for you! - semi-sweet macadamia: not super sweet, similar to chocolate chip in that respect. macadamia doesn't add much other than crunch. - walnut: slightly salty which was a nice surprise. other than the crunch, not something hugely different. I didn't get all of the flavors but from the ones I got I think toffee is the best. Peanut butter and regular chocolate chip would be the other flavors I'd get again.

I got to meet the owner, Antoine today. He is very impressionable and has great customer service.

great location for a quick grab n go sweet treat. I got the chocolate chip and honey comb. 2.75 for a cookie. they sell cookie dough also. they have a little microwave for warming though it was broken on my visit. they have a few tables inside. I like the honeycomb better than the chocolate chip though I think I would've liked toffee better. I liked the texture better on the honey comb.

Yummy cookies at a good price of $2.75 per cookie and clean store. Some seating is available.

Soft opening day cookie selection

I happened to stop in on their soft opening day while walking in the area. It wasn't too busy and got helped right away. Everyone was friendly, it's clean inside, and felt organized. We tried the dark chocolate chip cookie and peanut buttercup. They were both good in texture and flavor. Size was a bit smaller than other shops but price was more reasonable.

Judy S.

Clean and spacious cookie shop on a busy corner. They were nice with samples! I went during their first day soft opening so they didn't have day old cookies, but seems like a great deal. The staff is hard working.

Drove by and noticed they were finally open! And a parking spot was there! Definitely tasty cookies. Toffee was my favorite but the Honeycomb was a very close 2d

I'd recommend going to that one vs this teeny tiny location. It's not a great representation of the Ariscault as a whole. I think we came here around 2 pm, so almost close to closing, but 90% of items were sold out. Yet there was still a huge queue. Why close so early and be out of stock so fast if ppl clearly still want croissants at 2 pm on a Saturday? Also, they forgot two croissants in our bag, and we turned around 30 seconds later and told them they're missing. They needed to "verify" our order, which made me feel like I'm a thief. I promise I'm not stealing when I already spent $37 there. I just want what I paid for!! Anyways, check out the other 2 locations if you're not a local who lives nearby, as they're much nicer.

It was absolutely heavenly. The standout was the bolo bun with guava butter. Imagine guava jam and butter had a delicious baby and being tucked inside a warm, soft pineapple bun and that's exactly what it tasted like. We also tried the classic butter bun, which was excellent, but the guava version was the winner for us. For something savory, we ordered the salted egg yolk and BBQ pork bun, and it was delicious. The combination of sweet, salty, and savory flavors worked really well together. We also tried the pandan bun, which was fine, but it didn't quite stand out compared to the other flavors. I wish we had time to come back and sample more of the menu. I had my eye on the matcha and red bean varieties and would have loved to try them. I also ordered a Hong Kong milk tea and it was rich and strong. They even serve it with a mini warm bolo bun on top of the cup, which is both adorable and delicious. Pineapple King is the kind of place I would happily travel back to San Francisco for. Now if they could just open a location in LA my life would be complete!

I've always wanted to try this place since I see a line every time I walked by. There's a lot of foot and car traffic. It's definitely a busy area so expect to park in one of the nearby residential areas or be extremely and walk/bike/bus here! Upon stepping into the tiny shop, I was enveloped in the sweet smell of chocolate chip cookies. It was tempting to put that in my bag, but I stuck with my game plan. They do self serve for all the baked goods and drinks except the pizza and focaccia. You tell the cashier what you grabbed. There's self serve complimentary water on the side too. Got a pecan swirl, one of each square focaccia flavors, and a half pizza (hot). The pizza flavor of the day was triple mushroom with sesame ginger garlic vinaigrette and mozzarella. It was 10/10 delicious!! Do note that they don't heat up the focaccia. Personally, after tasting everything, I'd say the pizza is more worth it than the focaccia "pizzas". The pecan roll was quite addicting too. You can also skip the line if you want to order online on their website and schedule a pick up time, but my gift card didn't work so I just waited in line.
