    Tallarin Verde con Bisteck Frito

Solid Mom n Pop Peruvian restaurant on Melrose! The portions here were pretty big. Here are some of the dishes my friend and I shared: - Lomo Salatado: This was good, the beef was cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor. I've had better Lomo saltado elsewhere though. - Tallarin Verde con Bisteck Frito: The pesto pasta was creamy, had good pesto flavor, and the noodles were cooked decently. However, I was a bit disappointed with the steak which was tough and didn't really give that "fried" feel. - Jalea de Pescado con Mariscos: Favorite dish of the night. I liked the variety of all the fried seafood and yucca. The fried shrimp was good and it was even enjoyable to eat the tail. I especially loved the fish which was flavorful and maintained its moistness despite being fried. Topped with fresh onions and crunchy bits, it was a great combo. The staff here were also really nice! There's limited parking in the plaza, but there's some neighborhood street parking nearby.

I've been coming here since 2009 . This is one of my favorite Peruvian spots . The husband and I have plans today near Hollywood and we decided to stop and have dinner . The service was great . I always go straight for pescado à la plancha , I've had other items on the menu but this is my favorite. There's always music playing and something to watch on their TV screen . It was pretty busy but our food came by quickly. Give it a try .

My wife and I ordered Inti through Uber Eats one night when we were too lazy to cook or go out. Sometimes the food comes, and is soggy and gross. But the Lomo Saltado we ordered here was delicious and their green sauce has a delicious flavor and very nice spice to it. Really good and we want to try some other dishes there next time! If you like Lomo Saltado, I highly recommend this place!!

Located in a corner stripmall unit tucked away from the street. This comfortable Peruvian Restaurant is unassuming for the flavors they put out! The starting bread serving was fresh and tasty. The green salsa that they serve with it is flavorful and spicy. I had the Mar y Tierra (Saltado), Essentially Shrimp and Beef. I found it seasoned well and was very tasty. My wife had the Seafood and Beef Saltado. It was also tasty. I appreciated the server brought me another glass of water without my asking. Very attentive. Overall, a great experience. Now that we know, we will be back.

I used to dine here twice a week for a few years until my job took me out of the area. It's been at least 10 years since I have been back and happy to see that they survived the many struggles. The food is just as good as I remembered it and the portions are still pretty big. My favorite thing they have here is the aji verde sauce that they give you with bread and you can use it on your entree. The sauce is very flavorful but not as spicy as I remember it. It was pretty busy most with take out orders and that did cause a bit of slow service but was understandable. It's located on a busy street in a small strip mall and it's fairly well kept up, bright and can get a little loud but nothing to complain about.

This is a very Mom and Pop vibe Peruvian not your super dressed up but the food here is beyond delicious!! Came here on a whim and absolutely loved it ! I am definitely a lover of Peruvian food specifically Peruvian ceviche, and this location ticked all my boxes! The portions here are very big and the service was very fast and efficient ! Our server took our orders and everything came out hot fresh and tasty! We have the ceviche mixto as our starter, and the portions were a perfect sharing size for everyone at our table! Usually locations are pretty skimpy on this part so I can appreciate this locations portions! Everything was flavorful and in the area I will definitely be giving them a visit again !

A complete hole in the wall but one you need to find yourself at. Excuse how poorly I took pictures but know that the food here is insanely delicious. I got their fish saltado which is tender chunks of friend fish in a sauce I wish I could bathe in loaded with fries and onions. My mouth is watering just remembering it. We also got their ceviche which was incredibly fresh and perfectly served with onions and boiled potatoes.

Inti Peruvian Restaurant is a little hidden gem. You may call it a hole in the wall type of place if you want and the restaurant's quaint and family feel might direct you to such thoughts; it's totally homey with no pretentious feeling of any sort and with a very basic look and feel. It's tucked away in the corner of a strip mall type of place. Parking is limited. The service was nice and friendly. My friend spoke Spanish though to the service staff and was commenting about things I would say to make them happy and show that I was pleased. We ordered several things as a party of three and all were really excellent. The portions are very good. Bread was served with a spicy green sauce. The green sauce is great! Ceviche Mixto - Ceviche with calamari, shrimp, octopus, and fish. Served with a potato, sweet potato and cancha (large-kerneled corn). A very generous portion and all tasted fresh. Lomo Saltado Strips of beef sauteed with onions, tomatoes, and french fries. Served with white rice. I've been waiting to try the infamous lomo saltado dishes of Peruvian cuisine and their version here did not disappoint. Everything was seasoned well. The meat was tender, fries cooked well, and the sauce was so amazing. The rice was nicely made as well. I can eat this every day and be happy. Tallarin Saltado De Carne - Strips of beef and pasta satueed with green onions and tomatoes. Friend's kid had this and enjoyed. Calamares Fritos - Good portion and golden brown. Friend's daughter devoured this. Inca Kola - A Peruvian soft drink. Slight sweet taste. Reminded me of Mountain Dew. Maracuya - Refreshing passion fruit drink

Came here on a whim and will absolutely be back! Place is a little small but well spaced with tables and clean. Our server was so friendly, quick, and helpful with the few questions we had. The food was delightful! My husband got the Lomo Saltado. Although I'm not a big beef eater, this might have been one of the best beef dishes I've ever had. It was seasoned to perfection (a hair salty, but I like it like that) and the gravy that it was sitting in made both of us clean the plate with the bread that's given at the start. That bread came warm and crusty. I got the Pescado Saltado, also generously seasoned. The smaller bits of fish were a bit overcooked but the taste of everything made it completely worth it. Regrettably, it didn't have as much mouth-watering gravy as was with the beef but I just stole from my husbands plate. Both drinks were fantastic. TheChica Morada had a good bit of cinnamon (?) so it was a delicious mixture of spiced and sweet. The Maracuya was refreshing! I saw the menu offered a vegetarian Saltado and I can't wait to go back to try!

Pretty good Yuca and sauce. Chicha was delish.

Family restaurant, best lomo saltado I've had outside my own kitchen. Finally a Peruvian restaurant that gets it right! Chicha was so delish as well. It's purple corn drink, don't knock it til you've tried it here. So good. We got a second lomo, yeah it was that good. Service was good, they brought bread and will bring more, just ask. Clean bathroom. Wish Peruvian food was this great in Oceanside

Here is our order: Chicha No Nada with Pisco: A very refreshing drink! Adding pisco was a right choice, making it a perfect cocktail to start off the vacation. Bass Ceviche: A great Peruvian-inspired dish! Highly recommend adding the crispy quinoa crusts for additional $3. Wood-fired Skirt Steak: This dish is very similar to Lomo Saltado, which is our favorite Peruvian dish. Steak was cooked to perfection. Yuca Fries: This dish was very interesting, featuring chorizo, yuzu-cilantro, pickled ajis, and cotija. It was delicious and perfect as a side dish. While the food was excellent, the portions were quite small for dishes that are "meant to be shared" as descrived by our server. Albeit this, our dine-in experience was very positive and enjoyable overall.

I ordered the quarter chicken with rice and salad, and I was really impressed with the portion sizes. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and gave me the kind of authentic Latin food vibes that I love. The sauce was definitely the highlight for me--it was so good that I found myself adding it to every bite. The prices are also fantastic. For the quality and quantity of food you get, this place is truly a gem. That said, there were a couple of downsides. The restaurant itself is very small, with limited seating available. The customer service also wasn't the best during my visit. Since the dining area was completely full when we arrived, we decided to place our order to go. While we were waiting for our food, a table opened up, so we asked if we could sit down and eat there instead. We were told that because we had ordered our food to go, we were not allowed to sit in the restaurant. I found that a bit disappointing, especially since we had already paid for the same food as everyone else dining in. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely the reason I would come back. If I'm in the area and craving their chicken, I'd absolutely return--just with different expectations regarding the seating situation and service.

Upon entering the restaurant, you'll feel transported into another country almost. The disco ball, the mood lighting, the live piano and singer, and overall upbeat energy was an instant vibe. I love how enthusiastic the staff is about the food, especially our server Gaia, who was an absolute gem. She kept our corn seeds refilled all evening (which by the way, was SO good and SO filling). The items we ordered were so unique and definitely felt like a true fusion of Peruvian and Japanese culture. We ordered: SPICY CRAB HAND ROLL: Wow, love the crunch and aioli in this!! Very flavorful, and the subtle crunchy texture was incredible. HOKKAIDO SCALLOP: Not sure what fermented douche paste is, but this was also a banger. It was fresh, and had an almost milky flavor to it. The bomb. SHRIMP DUMPLING w TIGER MILK AIOLI & SESAME LEAF: This was probably the highlight of our evening. Our server Gaia highly recommended this. I'm not a huge dumpling person, but she convinced me that it was worth it. I cannot rave enough about this dish. The subtle milky and creamy sauce drizzled on top of the shrimp dumpling was incredible. Idk if I'd even call it a dumpling because the shape was very interesting. The sesame leaf gave it such a refreshing aftertaste. Highly recommend this one! JAPANESE CURRY RAVIOLI: Probably my second favorite! I've never had curry ravioli before but what an audacious idea! MISO COD: Loved the little puffed things on top of the miso cod!!! Pretty standard dish, but it was really good! SALMON SKEWERS: Came highly recommended by Gaia, so of course we ordered it. Flavorful as heck, and love the sauce that it came with! BLUEBERRY PIE: Ohhhh boy, this was the most decadent and delicious pie I've EVER eaten. It came with a bunch of whipped cream, and two scoops of ice cream. The pie was so thick, it tasted like how fairy tale storybooks describe a pie made with love by someone's grandma. The slice is HUGE too, so you're def getting your money's worth for $15. Yes the food here was great, but our experience was truly elevated by the staff, especially our server Gaia! Her laidback yet enthusiastic vibe made us feel super cared for. I can't wait to send all my friends here so they can experience Hummingbird for themselves!!!
