    Tomato Basil Spaghettini
    Melissa B.

The service was very friendly, location is great--but the food was extremely disappointing. I hate leaving a negative review and rarely do but I wish I had known what the food would have been like before we went. I got the tomato and basil spaghettini with chicken added. It completely lacked any flavor. I needed to add salt which is rare to do at a restaurant as things usually come over salted. The chicken was poorly seasoned and weirdly cut, the skin of the chicken was served face side down, and extremely soggy with strange cuts in it (I'm assuming the cuts in the chicken were to make it cook faster). Everything felt very plain and basic. My mom got the spinach chicken and it was the same type of chicken I got, but with melted cheese on it over a bed of raw spinach that had zero flavor as well. There was not a single hint of garlic in anything. The sliced bread that came with each plate was basically like sandwich bread and not even toasted or warm. I really wanted to love this place but I'm honestly a little surprised at the other positive reviews--maybe we came on an off day? But one look at the photos of the food would have told me all I needed to know.

This place was really good loved the vibe. The pizza was soo good love pizza would totally recommend. Will for sure be going back. The service was perfect great attention. We had a party of 13 and everything came out great!!

    Mushroom ravioli

Disappointing portions. To-go order messed up. Paid for add-on meatball but not received.

    Shrimp salad

Riley and Alfonso. YOU BOTH DID AN AMAZING JOB. Both of the 2 young people were short staffed but they were handling the customers with a smile. I would love to come back and eat here again. Food was amazing. The view is beautiful. We had more food than this but I didn't want to be rude and be all over the table.

    Fiero Spritz

Such a great vibe and the food was delicious! Lobster ravioli and tortellini were sooo good! The fiero spritz was the perfect daytime refreshing cocktail. A must visit!

Delicious sandwich, disgusting place. The restroom was super dirty, the kitchen looked questionable too.

It was super hot in the restaurant and it was the most mediocre food I've had. Frozen pizza is better than the pizza they served me.

The flavor of the pasta is so good. The funghi pasta is also amazing and my husband craves that one often as well. The arrabbiatissima sounded really delicious from the description but was too acidic for me the couple of times I tried it. For my friend's birthday, they brought out a small dessert and also took a cute Polaroid for us to take home which was so sweet. I've recommended this restaurant to friends whenever they ask for San Diego restaurant recs and they have all said that they really enjoyed their meal here!

After walking all day and up and down Coronado, my son and I wanted to sit down and eat one last meal before traveling home. We walked up and down trying to see which what was appealing and chose this place. I wasn't thinking anything of it, unfortunately this place is all I think about now. My son and I even though we had no reservations were put outside and squeezed in which I was very greatful for and so was our belly's after. We never went in the restaurant so unfortunately I can't say how it goes in there but it looked busy yet well organized. The waiter might have felt rushed but they sure didn't show it, sitting outside looking in we saw a beautiful bar. It's was a gorgeous day as we sat outside and people watched but that's enough of the atmosphere now it's food time. We got a chocolate milk and Diet Coke with a chicken parm which we split, I have been all over the place and this place has their chicken parm down. The chicken was extremely crispy and the breading didn't fall of the chicken when I cut it up for my son chicken was juice and the spaghetti we got with is wasn't a watery mess like plenty of places I have been to. Very well done to the chef that made the master piece. I could visit for one day just for that dish. Thank you.

The cheesecake and tiramisu are both made in house and they were sooo yummy. Each bite was packed with flavor and pure goodness. Great food, warm service, and such a cozy atmosphere. We can't wait to come back again!

If he isn't the owner, he treats everyone like the owner and makes sure everyone is happy and comfortable. He was very entertaining. We asked what he recommended, and in a perfect deadpan: "Another restaurant." Followed by a wonderful laugh. He made some excellent recommendations, and we ordered our drinks and soon we were treated to a basket of amazing bread with a wonderful spread that was just amazing. We shared an appetizer which was amazing, something with fig, pear, and burrata cheese on a thin toast. It was on a separate menu, and it was amazing. We each had a pasta dish, that was both beautiful to look at and amazing to taste. Perfectly seasoned. We used the bread to clean our plates of all the sauce as it was too good to waste. Mine was the Bottoni - Prosciutto & potato filling / parmesan sauce / green peas / prosciutto. Amazing. My wife had the Mezzaluna - Pear ravioli / gorgonzola & walnut sauce. She cleaned her plate as well. She loved it. We shared a dessert of ricotta and habanero, and interesting combination, that was delicious. Every person we encountered was friendly and made out dinner an amazing experience. Make a reservation. It's worth the trouble.
