Another great dinner with the family at Jj's! It was quiet on the Monday night, I assume because the weather was rainy and getting cold. We came with a big group and they were quick to take our order and made sure everything was correct. We ordered a full meal of Fries, Mozzarella sticks, wings, and 2 large pizzas. The food all came out pretty quickly, hot and fresh. We all enjoyed everything with barely any leftovers. There is also a new VIP club and if you text them you get a discount, so be sure to look for that next time you come in. I'm never disappointed with JJs and this was another success. Until next time JJs!

A Reno classic! I love coming to JJ's pizza. This place is super casual and the perfect spot for a pizza. You order at the counter and then grab a spot and watch a game while you wait for your food. I love their pizza: I love the taste of their dough and you gotta save your crust to enjoy with some honey. I always get a classic pepperoni pizza with a side of ranch. We order some fries and onion rings as well. Everything tasted great and just can't describe it better than some classic, tasty food. Go try their pizza and you can thank me later.

JJ's has been an amazing family staple for years! It is the best pizza in downtown Reno and a great family vibe. Service is always amazing and consistent!

First time here, ordering on the phone and picking up was easy. Very helpful inside and I thought the pizza was pretty darn good. And the unique honey offered for your crust. Down star for the price and parking lot was tough leaving. Will park elsewhere next time but will be back!

9/28/25 my wife and I went out to find a good pizza and we found it at J.J.'s Pie Co. we ordered a large and probably should have only ordered a small. This place certainly gives the vibe of the old fashioned pizza place's of the past. No nonsense, straight forward Boston type customer service. The pizza was very good although and from the time we ordered to the pizza on the table was about 30 min. Lots of collectable things to look an and several TV's to watch sports. Our drinks and pizza was approx $45.00 which I thought was affordable for two people to have a nice comfortable and casual night out.

Mozzarella Sticks, Wings, Pizza and Beer..... That's what was on the menu. I wanted to try a new pizza place and yelp helped me find this hidden gem. I was a little nervous as it is close to downtown and with the zombie crawl going on, I thought that they'd be a LOT busier. They weren't! A couple different gentlemen helped us place our order and retrieve our items. They were sure to hook it up with alllll the ranch needed. I feel like the inside of the building looks like your typical Friday or Saturday night bar, but the fact that they serve pizza too.... Makes it even better. It was a great deal and we will definitely be back!

JJ's is a fun UNR hangout. It is not in walking distance of the campus but it is a quick drive. Lot's of Wolf Pack support here. Pizza is their specialty, but wings are good as well. Lunch time is quite. This an ideal lunch stop if looking for good pizza and quite. Nights will pick up and so will noise. We have frequent here more times then I can count and though no longer living in the area, we make it a point to stop by when in town. Thank you JJ's for the memories and making new ones for our kids.

We love JJs. A Reno staple. Always consistent and delicious. Can't go wrong with the pepperoni, Hawaiian, or JJs special.

We were immediately impressed with the ambiance and our server who was super friendly as well as knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations, let us taste the wine to ensure it was a good fit for us, and made sure we were taken care of. The pizza is an Italian style with thin crust that is less cooked than a typical American thin-crust pizza. All the ingredients were fresh and the menu was obviously crafted with care. We tried the Cherry Picker and the Espana which were both unique combinations that were well balanced and flavorful. To drink we tried the Lambrusco, a fruity but not sweet sparkling red wine, and the Hugo spritz which was very well executed. For dessert we had the Cioccolato Budino which was a dense, creamy and rich mousse covered in caramel chocolate cookie crumbs and homemade whipped cream. My only complaint is that I shared instead of getting my own.

For starters, per our server's recommendation, we had the caprese salad. Spritzers were today's special and we had one of each. So far so good For our main course, we tried the Margherita and Tony's NYC pizza. Pizzas were great! Crispy with just the right amount of chewy goodness. For dessert, we had Tiramisu and Affogato. Really good postre. Overall, it was a great choice. Service was attentive and engaging. We had to find street parking, so allow time for that. We'll be back for sure.

It's clear they focus on quality from the dough to the sauce to the cheese to the toppings and they put in a healthy dose of passion, fun and love too. It's been a minute since I've stopped at this place but western lights festival brought me downtown and this was part of my plan from the go. I was excited to see that they added woodfired chicken wings, one of my personal favorite dishes anywhere and had to order them and these is absolutely did not disappoint and I'll be back for them again and again. Sometimes it's tough to get a really good crispy chicken wing out of a woodfired oven but this team nailed it in there, buffalo Parmesan sauce was divine, especially with a little bit of the house made ranch. The pizzas were also good, but I didn't like that. They served them in paper takeout boxes because even the short trip from the cutting table to us in that box steamed the pizza and made it super floppy. Toppings were sliding right off the pepperoni pizza we had and it just wasn't the best pizza experience Of the white pizza we tried with spinach and roasted garlic was awesome. I don't wanna held up a little better maybe because it didn't have sauce and the roasted garlic was perfect. Staff is super sweet and accommodating menu is diverse and interesting in and the vibes of West Street market are great for a date or a group so put this one on your list.

His trick you ask? He ferments his dough for at least 48 hours before making pizza with it. It's a sourdough crust. What a mind blowing experience in pizza. I'm a forever fan Johnny! Thank you for putting your pie in my mouth! (Get your mind outta the gutter, pigs!)

We ordered 2 slices and an order of garlic fries for food and 2 fountain drinks and 2 craft cocktails. The cocktails were delicious- we ordered the Rhinestone Cowgirl which is perfect for rodeo week. The pizza slices- I ordered the large slice Nobleman but the girl told me she could only do 4 toppings so what topping do you want the least- um easy- Peccorino is a cheese so technically it's not really going to be a miss so by all means remove the peccorino! So in essence I got the slice I wanted even though she made the alteration! The pizza tasted really good. The crust is crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside as a pizza should be. The sauce the right balance of sweet and tangy with just the right hint of a bite to it. The pepperoni has the perfect heat adding to the flavor profile. Yeah the pizza was great! In all essence my lack of enthusiasm was winched when the person delivering the pizza dropped it down in the table and walked away- no hello- no have a nice day- just plop and run. Then the fries had to be delivered later after we had to go to the counter and ask where they were- be patient- they will be there when they are ready. Yeah- not such a friendly vibe there so guess I won't be giving them another chance. Thanks for the great food but if you can't be decent when delivering my meal to my seat then it's a no brainer. We were meeting some friends for dinner in Reno and they suggested Liberty Food & Wine Exchange…read more Overall, we're glad that they did...here is what we noticed: - The food menu was pretty broad, with a range of differently priced items, e.g., full dinners at $40+ while pizzas were in the $20's. There was a list of specials for the day too. - For a place that has "wine" in the name, I thought the wine list was a bit limited/uninspired...the reds, for example, were heavily focused on CA wines, with a few Italian ones thrown in. - My wife and I ordered the Bee Sting Pizza, the Pistachio Pesto Arancini, and the Wedge Salad...all to share between the two of us. While everything was good, the Wedge Salad was the standout, with the Arancini's a close second (and a great sized portion). One of our friends ordered the Salmon special, and it looked good but pretty small in size considering the ~$40 price tag. - Service was good. There was a mess up where the server didn't hear our friend's order correctly and brought the wrong item, but she fixed it although it meant that he didn't his food for a while after the rest of us started eating. It was an honest error, but it would be good if the staff were empowered to do some kind of goodwill gesture, e.g., a free drink, a free appetizer while he's waiting for the food, etc., when something like that happens. - There was a weird thing that happened on our bills...the total that was on the itemized bill that we got from our server didn't match up with the pre-transaction processing fee total that was on our credit card copy...and, unfortunately, our server couldn't explain why. And, yes, there is a 2.5% credit card transaction fee added on (which we didn't see on the menu or anywhere else, but we learned about when we got the itemized bill). - Vibe is just ok...it's pretty loud and the tile floor and tables/chairs felt a little cafeteria-like. I wouldn't call it cozy by any means. Bottom line: Liberty Food & Wine Exchange was a nice place to meet up and the food was tasty...when I asked my wife if she would go back again, her answer was that we should try other places first, which is probably what we'll do.
