Delicious food - guacamole appetizer and picanha adobe steak with yucan fries. The outdoor seating was enjoyable for sidewalk people watching though the indoors also appeared to be an elegant choice of atmosphere.

Wow! What a gem! Great food, service and ambiance. We will definitely come back for sure. We were very impressed with everything!

I recently went to Jaguar with a group of friends looking for a spot to mingle and have a fun night out, and, it was a great choice! The ambiance is lively, definitely the kind of place that sets a mood for a senior crowd like we are. The music perfectly balanced, not too loud and not low, also great selection. The service was nice; our server was attentive and kept the energy up without being overbearing. But the real highlight of the night is the food and drinks. We started with the mini picanha tacos (served on a wooden board), and they were incredible. The meat was perfectly seasoned and topped with a fresh pico de gallo that really made the flavors authentic. We also shared some chips and guacamole which were the perfect pairing. The guac was fresh. To cheer the night, I had their Espresso Martini. Super creamy, foamy, perfectly balanced, and garnished with those classic coffee beans. If you're looking for a spot to roar with your gals in Coconut Grove that nails the 'cool' factor while serving high-quality food, scratch into Jaguar.

Jaguar in Coconut Grove completely won me over. From the moment I walked in, the energy felt right -- warm lighting, the hum of good conversation, and that cozy, tropical vibe that feels so Miami without trying too hard. I started with the ceviche sampler, and it honestly set the tone for the whole night -- every bite was fresh, citrusy, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The flavors just pop. The picanha steak was another standout packed with flavor without being heavy. The staff deserves a shoutout too. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a good time. It didn't feel forced -- just good hospitality from people who love what they do. By the end of the night, I realized Jaguar isn't just another "nice restaurant." It's the kind of place that leaves an impression -- the food, the atmosphere, the way it all comes together. Perfect spot for a date night or just to treat yourself to something special. If you're in Coconut Grove, don't overthink it -- go to Jaguar. You'll leave happy.

Great staff! Food was perfect. Different styles of ceviche. Try the sampler. Very good. The octopus was perfectly grilled! Very nice on the inside. Cannot wait to go back!

Stopped by Jaguar for happy hour and had a great time. The vibe was super chill, with an ambiance that gave off rainforest, Tarzan-like feels. A really cool spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and take in the atmosphere. Food was good, service was fast

After years of walking the grove and just looking inside this place I'm very disappointed with myself that I hadn't walked in here earlier. I recently went to a wedding reception here and the Latin American food that I had definitely has a new place in my heart. The smoked fish croquettes made me rethink what croquettes are suppose to be from how delicious, big and filling they were. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection and the ceviche makes me want to have my next date night here. They also have awesome service so if you're lost in the menu don't hesitate to ask the waiter for suggestions. Perfect for a business lunch, after work cocktails with great food or even taking that special someone out for a treat.

A very good restaurant with nice ambiance and good service. The Smoked Fish Croquettes were a perfect brown color and fried to perfection. Very delicious. The Grilled Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos had good flavor and taste. Usually, Mahi Mahi is hard to chew in a taco. Here, they were cut thin and was so soft in the taco.

Excellent drinks and service! The staff is so friendly and inviting, perfect place to hang out with seating inside and outside. Mojitos are especially good!

Decided to come and check this lil hidden gem. Has been here for a while and finally said let's do it! Place is very nice and welcoming. Food was super yummy and very tasty. Lomo saltado and grill fish. Had the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was superb. A must try, I truly recommend it.

We came here with our family as a group of 7 during happy hour. I recommend making a reservation as it was busy! Drinks were delicious and I felt like they were a good deal during happy hour. The menu was big and full of things I want to try- but I ended up getting the seasonal special escabeche. WOW. Flavorful, perfectly cooked, and a big portion. I tried my husbands tiger prawns and was equally impressed. Service was good and I appreciated how quick they were despite it being crowded. Would definitely come back for a special occasion :)

Ate at Jaguar on a Saturday morning, and it was surprisingly empty at 11am for brunch. However, it started filling up around 12/12:30pm. The actual restaurant is huge with a bar and plenty of indoor seating, but there are also a few tables outside. I ordered the Yucatan Breakfast and Fruit Plate off the brunch menu, and both were delicious! The pork came out piping hot, and several of the waiters warned me not to touch the cast iron skillet. It also came with a side of tortillas and guac. For $15, I found the portion size to very reasonable! The fruit plate had an assortment of 7 different fruits, including red dragonfruit, pineapple, and kiwi. The staff here was great. We had a large party, and everything came out correctly and in a short amount of time.

Steak & Yuca fries, shrimp, salad!

The food was consistently delicious and everything tasted incredible. Today I was walking through Coral Gables and got hungry, so I decided to give it another try after a couple of disappointments a few year back. We were greeted warmly and the service was outstanding, the staff was attentive, courteous, and always smiling, which really makes a difference. They started us off with complimentary arepitas de chicharrón that were excellent. I ordered the patacón de carne, which was packed with flavor, though the shredded meat came a little cold. We also got the patacón de pollo and we loved it. Both came with fresh avocado, tomato, and lettuce, and the green plantain was perfectly crispy. They also brought out their four house sauces (white, green, pink, and spicy) and every single one was fantastic. The portions were generous and more than enough for one person. I'm really glad my return visit was a positive experience. It reminded me why I loved this place so much, and I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

When I finally arrived to pick up I asked for the food to be remade specially the ceviche since I didn't feel comfortable eating something raw after it seating on the counter for over an hour due to their mistake. We were seated right away, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The service was excellent--our plates and silverware were always refreshed, our water glasses were constantly refilled, and Valeria was especially helpful and attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the octopus and the croquetas, and both were very good. The picanha was delicious and cooked perfectly. I ordered the special carbonara with caviar, which mentioned Wagyu bacon. While the dish was good, it was underwhelming overall. There was very little meat, and I felt it lacked flavor. The same went for the truffle mac and cheese--it was disappointing, with very little truffle flavor and not enough sauce or cheese. The portions in general were quite small, including the appetizers. For dessert, we had the warm cookie and the cheesecake empanada, and both were very good. The biggest downside was the cost. Our bill was very expensive (almost 500$) and we were also charged a 20% service fee, which came out to about $70. We were told that this fee goes "to the house," and that any additional tip would go to the server. That was surprising and honestly did not sit well with us. Overall, the service was great and there were definitely some highlights, but for the price, the food and portion sizes did not fully meet expectations. Parking was easy with a parking garage right across the street. We went on a Wednesday night at 7:30 and although we arrived a little early, we were greeted and seated immediately. It isn't a huge place, but it had a nice buzz going on. Low lighting gave it a very romantic vibe. We aren't drinkers so we stuck to water but they do appear to have a lovely wine selection. I had a purse and the hostess brought over a stand to hang my purse on which was very much appreciated. Our server was attentive and came over right away to go over the menu. Everything is meant for sharing, which was fabulous because we wanted to try a few different things. Join me on a lovely tour of the menu we experienced. We started with an empanada which was good, the cilantro sauce was a bit tangy. Good flavor to the meat. We also had the Osso Bone Marrow to start and wow this was delicious. It was bone marrow topped with Ossobuco marmalade on top and some smoked chimichurri, served with a few slices of toasted baguette. This was excellent, but combined with the empanada it was a heavy start to the evening. Would definitely only do this again if we had more people to share with. Next came the 16 oz skirt steak, street corn, and wild mushrooms. The steak was perfectly cooked, served with a small bowl of salt and a bowl of chimichurri. Nothing too special about it, was exactly what would be expected of a perfectly cooked skirt steak. The street corn is not a huge serving which was excellent. It was a perfect amount for us to share. This was served with queso fresco, bread crumbs, and a chipotle crema. Finally, my favorite dish was the wild mushrooms. This was served with a poached egg, croutons, and micro greens. The mushrooms had the most amazing savory and earthy flavor. This is a plate I would easily want to have every time I would go. There's a dessert menu but we did not even look at it. We were so full, it was a great amount of food and we left truly satisfied. The service was attentive and fast. All in all, we will be back to try the Ossobuco croquetas, ricotta gnocchi, and many other dishes we had our eyes on. Excellent

The first thing to know is that the café is very small with limited seating, so be prepared to wait if they're busy. I ordered Tina's French Toast, which is one of their most popular items. For $18, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The slice I received was much smaller than what I'd seen in photos and reminded me of regular sandwich bread. It was also slightly burnt and tasted like toasted bread with house-made syrup and a hint of orange zest. I also ordered the Sunny Side Scramble, which was simply scrambled organic eggs with Parmesan. I appreciate that they use organic eggs, but there wasn't anything particularly memorable about the dish. The BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese) sandwich was decent but, again, nothing that justified the price. My favorite item was probably the tallow potatoes. They were crispy, flavorful, and well-cooked, but the portion was so small that it felt like one tiny potato cut into quarters. In the end, I spent about $100 on four items and left feeling disappointed. None of the food was bad, but none of it stood out or lived up to the hype either. Experiences like this are why I don't automatically trust influencer reviews anymore. Too often they feel more like paid promotions than honest opinions. I believe a good reviewer should be willing to share both the good and the bad. I understand that negative reviews can impact a business, but honesty is what helps people decide where to spend their hard-earned money. I really wanted to enjoy Tina Café, but for me, it simply didn't live up to the expectations
