For food, I ordered the mixed (seafood + beef) tofu soup which came with 4 assorted ban chan, fried fish and ceramic pot white rice. Note: there's peas on the rice. My husband ordered the combo tofu soup + protein entree, which he chose beef tofu soup and bulgogi (thinly sliced marinated beef) and it was delicious! We shared the entree since it was pretty large size. The combo also came with side dishes, rice and fried fish. It was nicely grilled, easy to eat with small bones. Ban chan was pretty unlimited with staff constantly walking around to check in and make sure you have enough side dishes to enjoy with your meal. I have to note, the service is incredible! I couldn't have had a better lunch experience than my first time at Cho Dang. Will be back soon and highly recommend to friends :)

It was piping hot when it came out, which I prefer. I think adding an egg costs a bit more though which is different than other places. The soup had lots of seafood - scallops, mussels, shrimp (bay), and squid and they allow you to customize the spice level. The combination tofu soup and spicy pork was good. Portion wise my mom and I had the combo + a seafood pancake and had leftovers for a small lunch for one person. Total was 70 something after tip. The seafood pancake I get why some folks had problems with it. It's different in texture than other places. I found it had a good crunch and had a good batter to seafood ratio; it's just not what you expect but I still found it tasty.

It was such a hot day so I had the mool-naeng-myun (chewy buckwheat & starch noodles served in an ice-cold, savory broth made from beef with fermented radish kimchi) to cool off. My husband had the bibim-naeng-myun (mixed with spicy sauce) and our son had the spicy pork bulgogi, but he hardly ate it bc he was too busy eating the odang side dish. So funny! The beef broth is on the verge of being too salty but it's balanced by the sheer amount of black pepper that you can taste and not really see inside the clear broth. There's also a ton of beef and veggies inside, and got noodles for this dish. Noodles themselves were al dente and fresh. Friend and I also shared a side of fried dumplings, which came out very hot and didn't really need the sauce provided on our table, as everything already had enough taste. Staff brought out the food relatively fast - within about 10 minutes for all our dishes - and this is on top of the restaurant becoming a full house throughout the hour we stayed. People even started lining up near the waiting area after a while, that's how packed this place gets!

Between the four of us, we ordered a 12 half-and-half piece wing set, a seafood pancake, a tofu soup, and a beef bibimbap. Although food takes a long time to come out of the kitchen, the food is worth the wait! The seafood pancake was some of the best seafood pancake that I've had. The pancake had generous amounts of seafood in it and the crispiness could not be beat. Although the bibimbap comes in a large stone pot and is sizzling hot coming out of the kitchen, you unfortunately aren't able to extract any burnt rice from the bottom. Perhaps a little bit more oil is needed to achieve this? Despite this, it's still a really nicely constructed bibimbap bowl with a solid variety of vegetables. The chicken wings are crispy on the exterior and juicy on the interior. The wings are on the larger size, so once you get past the thin layer of crispy skin on the outside, I recommend dipping the wing back into the leftover sauce on the plate for more flavor. Last but not least, the tofu soup had a deep kimchi flavor, and was very mild in terms of spiciness. I thought the rice cakes included in the bowl were cooked perfectly and had a nice bounce to them. Overall, if you're looking for Korean food in this part of town, I don't think Danji Korean Cuisine can be beat.

Bon is located in the same plaza as H-Mart and so they have a shared parking lot or you could walk over from Redmond Town Center which is just a block away. The inside is surprisingly large with at least twenty tables, which is bigger than most Korean restaurants that I've seen on the Eastside. At 11:45am on a Saturday, my group of three had no problem getting a table. Their menu is extensive and has all the Korean food classics including seafood pancake, soondubu (stone pot tofu soup), galbi jjim (beef stew), Toppokki, bibimbap, and cold noodles (spicy and non-spicy versions). Their entrees are around $20 each, but some larger hot pot dishes (meant for 2-3 people) can be up to $70. I ordered the BULGOGI BIBIMBAP (~$24). Unfortunately they don't serve stone pot Bibimbap here, but the portions are large and beautifully presented. My dish came with plenty of fresh vegetables- pickled carrots and cucumbers, sesame bean sprouts, daikon kimchi, lettuce, and marinated black mushrooms (which I've never had in Bibimbap before but was soooo good) on top a bed of fluffy white rice! The egg was cooked perfectly over easy and the meat was marinated well too- I do wish the dish came with more meat though. They give you your typical sweet and spicy gochujang red sauce on the side as well as white vinegar and mustard sauce for added flavor. Service was fantastic and you get complimentary hot tea and ban chan (which are refillable). The ban chan included cucumber kimchi, daikon kimchi, sesame bean sprouts, kimchi, fish cake, and sesame choy. All employees were very friendly and made you feel at home. The inside is clean, but the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is that they have an Okay health rating and not a Good or Excellent health rating. I didn't look up the exact violations, but it would be great to see an improvement in score. Overall: 4/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere

We opted for the small mix combo which had the prime ribeye, beef brisket, king prime short ribs, la seasoned ribs, beef tail flap, pork belly, pork jowl, pork shoulder, and seasoned boneless short ribs. We also ordered a bottle of soju to share. The meats were beautifully presented. They also served an array of banchans including onion salad and lettuce. Service was amazing. Our server always checked in and offered to change our grill pan. Pricing was on par for the meat quality and amount that came with our order. We even ended up with a couple to-go boxes.
