Was not expecting how good this place was based on the stars. The macaroni was soooo delicious! The pasta was probably the most perfectly cooked pasta I've ever had. I'm not even exaggerating! It was sooo good! Plus it was the perfect balance of cheesy but liquidy as the same time. Their dessert menu is not lacking in any way. I will be coming back to update you guys on the chocolate skillet dessert! Update: I got the cookie skillet! I'm used to those being pretty large so it was actually nice to have a small enough portion to finish without feeling like you're going to explode afterwards. My friend got the cheese curds and they are a must if you like cheese at all! I thought they would be spicy since they were advertised with jalapeño but they weren't really spicy at all. Even the sauce was sort of sweet so if you're someone who doesn't like spice like me then these were perfect!

As a guest of the hotel I wanted something on site so I could avoid the heat. You seat yourself and there's only a few wait staff but they are prompt. I ordered a prickly pear lemonade, fish tacos, chips and guac, and sweet potato fries. The tacos were okay, they had a bean paste and then the fish but it was lacking. The chips and guac were good since they came out warm. The sweet potato fries were so good, perfectly crispy and thick cut. I also really enjoyed the lemonade. Food was tasty and convenient if you are staying at the hotel.

This lounge bar is inside the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. We were spending the weekend for Valentine's and while waiting for our room to be ready we decided to have a couple of drinks. I sat down alone while my husband checked on our room status at the front desk. There was a young lady standing around playing with her hair right by the cash register talking to herself loud enough for us to hear. Saying things like "this place is so boojee ". So I immediately looked for someone else. ANYONE with a brain. Thankfully the older, much nicer, much more professional lady, came just in time and she took our order. Not only was she professional, polite and fully dressed, but she had ideas of other drinks we might want to try. Hubby even had an Irish coffee which went great with the chill outside. Next time we go, I will make sure I mention this to the Manager, if I have a similar experience. I honestly didn't have time to babysit that little girl who forgot to finish getting dresses that day. Otherwise, I would have told the Manager that not only was she bad mouthing the clients, the establishment but also the co-workers and the fact that she had to be there. Hopefully, she will not be there next time LOL. If I see her I will run the other way LOL. Overall, it was a great experience and the professional fun older bartender made it a fun experience, and she deserves the stars!! Cheers!!!!

We ate here for a few meals during a recent stay at the resort. Food and drink were better than expected. Reasonably priced. Low traffic place so perfect if you are trying to avoid crowds. If you are hanging out poolside, you can order inside and they will bring your food out.

When we first arrived they waiter stated that she would be right with us. She did not come back for about 15 minutes. I had to keep staring in her direction for her to finally come over. I ordered the Cactus bite off the drink menu & that was pretty good. For my entree I got the chicken/bacon Mac and cheese and BLAND is the nicest word I can think of. My husband had the jalapeño burger and loved it ! I did taste his fries and they were amazing! The three stars are due to the slow service and the bland Mac and cheese. It should be illegal to make Mac and cheese bland hahaha. It really is nice though and the live music is a plus as well!

While it's not in the heart of Old Town, it's within walking distance. We stopped by on a Thursday around 9:30 p.m. While we were on foot, I noticed that they have a parking lot. Ambiance (4/5): Relatively small for a brewery, but your typical chill, brewery vibes. They have some seats at the bar, some high tops, and a small patio. We sat out on the patio since the weather was nice. The seats out there are a bit uncomfortable, but we couldn't pass up on patio weather. They have free water in the corner which is always a plus so you don't have to wait in line. Service (5/5): The bartender working was super nice. It's always appreciated when servers go above and beyond in providing a great experience. He was friendly, efficient, and attentive. I couldn't have asked for more in my service experience at Goldwater. He exceeded my expectations. Food (N/A): I already ate previously so no food for me. There was a Mexican food truck in the parking lot. Drinks (4/5): I love trying local brews. At breweries, I typically get a flight so I can try out a variety of beers. This time though, I went with a pint. I couldn't say no to the Sour Rangers. I grew up watching the Power Rangers, so that was all the motivation I needed. An added bonus was that this beer is a sour. Not something you have every day, nor a style of beer that you come across very often. So I had to take advantage of the opportunity. And it was a good one. Goldwater is my type of place. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in the area!

Goldwater has indoor and outdoor seating options. It was a warm day so we sat inside at the hi-top. I didn't see food options available but it is located next to a few restaurants. My husband and friend enjoyed their beer flights and since I don't drink beer, I was happy to see a cooler with wine and other options such as white claw, etc. the beer was poured directly from the fermenter tank. The staff were very friendly and explained they had to open the wine bottle and make the first pour which was fine with me. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

The staff and service were friendly and attentive right from the start. The drinks were fantastic--a little too easy to drink! As for the food, the short ribs I ordered were incredible, and my wife really enjoyed her Mac and cheese. The only real miss of the night was my daughter's beef stroganoff. They swapped traditional egg noodles for spaghetti-style noodles, and overall the dish just missed the mark for her. Thankfully, the desserts brought things back on a high note--they were absolutely delicious. Overall, a solid spot with great atmosphere, service, and drinks.

Instead, we were publicly embarrassed and treated like criminals for absolutely no reason. After we were seated, I closed the curtain because the table next to us was loud and obnoxious. Minutes later, the manager, Hannah, walked over and decided our entire group was "too intoxicated" to be served. Not a single person in our group was causing a scene, being disrespectful, or acting out of control. We were sitting at our table, ordering dinner. What makes this even more ridiculous is that after taking our drink order, Hannah personally brought out three green tea drinks in champagne glasses. Then, almost immediately afterward, she decided we were somehow too intoxicated to stay. Which is it? If we were supposedly too drunk to be there, why were drinks being served in the first place? We had already ordered what would have been around a $700 meal, and instead of being treated with basic respect, we were stereotyped because we were a bachelorette party. It felt like Hannah had already made up her mind before giving us any chance to prove otherwise. Restaurants absolutely have the right to refuse service to genuinely intoxicated guests. What they should not do is make assumptions based on the type of celebration or the size of a group. This wasn't responsible service--it was poor judgment, inconsistent management, and an incredibly embarrassing way to treat paying customers. We'll happily spend our money somewhere that values its guests instead of profiling them. !!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!! We ended up at ZUZUs, they treated us with respect and dignity. Food was 10/10.

It's a very not-Scottsdale Scottsdale bar, which is to say that it's down-to-earth, unpretentious and not too pricey. It has an incredibly strong live music program, with music at least once a day and twice on weekends during the summer, and twice daily during high tourist season. I've found that people--regulars and visitors--are friendly and easy to talk to. OTT is closing in this location and will be reopening in the old Back Door space directly behind it. The space will be larger, but I expect the cold drinks, great music and good vibes will transfer well.

The happy hour food specials were attractive so I ordered lemon pepper wings and electric fries - beer battered fries topped with carne asada, chorizo pork belly, caramelized rajas, melted cheese and poblano salsa. The wings were jumbo and I didn't know otherwise I would have asked for them to be cooked extra crispy. I didn't really enjoy those since they were juicy and not crispy.
