I asked the person who prepped the beginning of my sandwich if he could kindly finish the making it as the person he was trying to hand it off to, prepped a mushroom sandwich and I didn't see her change her gloves. and I'm allergic so I was being cautious. After much unnessary back and forth from the employee he made my sandwich and still handed it to her to wrap. She wrapped it with the gloves on that she touched that mushroom sandwich. The original employee seemed to be a manager with such a nasty attitude regarding my simple request for safety. I ordered catering form this location last week. At the end of the order I asked if it would be possible to have an ongoing order week to week. They said that yes it would be possible and I said ok I'll let you know. So they charged for the first weeks order and we picked up the sandwiches. They never sent me a receipt so today when I called in to request the receipt they asked which one I wanted the one from last week or this week. Hold up, what? I never confirmed this weeks order. I asked to speak to the manager. He immediately panicked and got over emotional raising his voice and using a tone that I don't believe to be acceptable. and besides that I am the one that just got charged 400 something dollars for an order that wasn't confirmed. When I asked to speak to someone else he said there is no one else to speak to. I asked to speak to the owner and he said well I'm calling him first to tell him about the situation and hangs up. So I call back and am put on hold for 8 minutes until this manager finally picks up the phone to tell me that the card WILL be charged and that the owner can only be reached by email. It's 3 weeks later and I'm still trying to get the receipts from this bunk business. read more

I was all excited for a Jersey Mike's right near me, so I went tonight. Ordered three sandwiches, nothing too difficult and it took 25 minutes!! No apology, nothing. Then I get home to eat with my kids, and my buffalo chicken wrap is in a spinach wrap! Not the whole wheat I ordered. And my daughters wrap didn't have ranch on the side, it was on the sandwich. It's a tight squeeze in there: certainly wouldn't recommend dining in (and they give everything to go, if that's a clue). I came in on Wednesday August 21 at 5:45pm. I had Ordered online for pickup. The app said it was ready so I walked in to pick it up and when I asked the short young woman with a nose piercing about my order she looked at her coworker (a taller young woman), said the order name and they laughed before saying we haven't started that yet. Didn't say sorry or anything just laughed... I waited for 15+ minutes before a man working asked what I was waiting for. I told him the name and he said ok we're working on it. My sister said we've been waiting for a while we had ordered in advance and instead of apologizing he gave a weird attitude and said pick up was for 5:40 (it was literally 5:50 when we had this conversation). After finally getting our food I asked for the workers name and she asked why and I said for a review and she said she didn't have to tell me her name. Horrible experience definitely won't be back. I understand places get busy but it doesn't take a genius to know to just be nice about it and say sorry we're backed up. read more

I visit this location more than a few times a week as my regular lunch spot. I'm always impressed by how hard the crew seem to be working and how seamlessly they make the whole procession run. I am always greeted with a smile and the staff is always great. The couple of times my order was slightly off they quickly fix it without any questions. I wish I could give this restaurant higher marks because their sandwiches are great! Unfortunately nine out of 10 times our order is wrong. My last order was basically a $15 sandwich and I had to drive all the way back up there because they forgot to put meat on it. Normally I just let it go but it was for a child's dinner. No apology. Didn't even offer a bag of chips or a cookie for the inconvenience. I thought it was pretty crappy that I had to make a second trip up there and they did not refund me. I get it customer service can be rough with some people. there are two that are without a doubt the two finest hardest caring worker at Jersey mikes. one who always has a million dollar smile and who goes above and beyond to make each customer feel appreciated is Tekla. always willing to explain to me and other customers even with a long line what each sandwich is. she does it with kindness, smile and as always a besutiful soul. the other is without a doubt has the warmest personality. is Tiffany. always professional fast, not rushed I have seen her defused an upset guest in seconds to satisfy their needs. Tekla & Tiffany are a dynamic duo. and when they work together, Burbank on Hollywood Way, Jersey Mike is a well run restaurant. with no disrespect to the others hard working employees, who are great themselves on every level. Jersey Mikes is always good. I think it's the best "chain" sandwich you can get. Though their fare is always tasty, the operation itself could definitely be ran better. Every time I go in there, they are so overwhelmed with online orders, pickups, and the in store customers that I'm never able to order what I want without stress or mistakes. I order the sandwich I want at the first bread and meat station, but they scold me for telling them the produce I want until they are done. Well by the time I'm at the produce station, there are 6 other sandwiches intertwined with mine and the cashier is already checking me out to expedite the whole process. Well if I want any extras, they get upset that I didn't tell them to begin with. There just aren't enough workers, not enough space, and not enough organization when it comes to the assembly line. The other day I got a white top bread with my wheat bottom bread because they mixed up my sandwich with another door dash order. I always tip and I'm always patient. I commend these hard workers.
