This place is great . I had the jersey shore sub . The meat is sliced in front of you . All the Italian favorites .

I had their Big Kahuna Philly Cheesesteak. If I'm not mistaken in my recollection, there was an episode of Fresh Prince of Bel Air, where Jazz brought Will a Philly Cheesesteak. Will explained to Uncle Phil that it's not authentic if the sandwich wasn't greasy enough to soak the paper bag/wrapping. Well, Mike's Philly Cheesesteak wasn't greasy, but it tasted great. I'd say there was a very good proportion of beef, cheese, candied jalapenos, onions, and mushrooms. Other than that, I had a much better impression of Mike's than Subway's. The ingredients seemed fresher and more appealing, despite the narrower choices in veggie ingredients. Rather than going to Subway's, I'll be looking forward to trying some of Mike's other sandwiches.. read more

Service was excellent, staff was very nice and helped me decide what to order as I've never been here before. I went with the Chipotle chicken and it was really good and fresh! The restaurant was nice and cool which was nice, it's been so hot out lately. I'd come back again I just wish there was more veggies to add to your sub :( read more

I went is because I wanted to try it out, and I can just say the service alone would bring me back in, the great food was just a plus! The chuck who helped me was super friendly and extremely accommodating with a smile on her face the entire time. As I was eating, a worker who was either leaving for the day or going on their break even stopped by on their way out to make sure I was enjoying getting my meal. I knew I was in trouble when I viewed the bland looking meats in the glass deli enclosure. If you look, you can see that all the meat has water added. This adds filler and makes the meat as bland as hell. Maybe the vegetables are fresh, but the meat is awful. I pity New Jersey people who think this is a great Italian sub. If your from Boston or New York, you will quickly realize this is another subway with absolutely no flavor to the subs. Anyone who loves this place has no idea what great food is. This was my first time at Jersey Mike's. First impression wasn't good. I wanted to place a phone order. I was put on hold for a while, then gave up. Later I did try Jersey Mike's Famous Philly. I don't know if it is actually famous in New Jersey or it's just marketing. The bun was nicely light and airy (but nothing special in taste), and the sandwich tasted good. However, for a Philly Cheesesteak, it was woefully short on cheese, and it certainly doesn't look stuffed with fillings like their photos. If I buy a large, it would be nice to have gotten proportionately more, not less. Again, marketing. Service was normal, not overly friendly as described by some people after they first opened. So overall, 3-3.5 stars. Your experience may vary. read more

Normally I love this place. I bragged so much to my mom that she finally decided to give it a shot. This bigger girl in there seemed sooooooooo annoyed to making our sandwiches and asked if I wanted it mikes way and I said yes but I only want pickles. She goes to put lettuce. I say no lettuce please. And she corrects me on what mikes way means and if I want juice and spices to say juice and spices only. But so rude and passive aggressive. A young gentlemen made it kinda better cause he was fun and friendly and let us choose our cup colors! Now back at home after eating. About 6-7 hours and now this morning, my mom and I are both super sick to our stomach and can't get away from the toilet. Coming out both ends. I don't know if it was the meat or the mayo. I ordered a chicken Parm after being asked impatiently what I wanted to order. The sandwich was hastily made and tomato sauce was everywhere, including all over the wrapper and on the outside of the bun, impossible to eat without getting tomato sauce all over you! I asked politely with a smile if I could have a knife and fork to clean the extra gobs of tomato sauce and they acted as if I was a bother. It didn't work, the sandwich bun was soaked, I asked if they could cut the sandwich in half, the worker actually put on gloves the sandwich was so messy! Don't order the chicken Parm? Don't go to this place on a Sunday afternoon when it's busy because they can't handle it. The guy on the slicer was literally sweating he was working so hard. Evidentially they got a phone order for three large subs and no one took my order until he was done creating them. No problem, got to take care of all your customers. He was nice enough to apologize for the wait Ordered my favorite #56 cheesesteak no peppers. Got the sandwich all set to chomp down smelled the peppers, opened the roll and sure enough...peppers! The ticket specifically noted no peppers. Took the sandwich back explained the problem and also said they would have to remake it because I am allergic to peppers. I can't eat them. The gal took the sandwich back and returned with the excuse that sometimes they get confused because it comes with both sweet and hot peppers. I responded that "No peppers" is pretty darn clear. Waited for the corrected order. At last my yummy cheesesteak, but wait, three bites in an what do I get, a pepper! Unbelievable, now I am steamed, I take the sandwich back again and ask to speak to the manager. While all this was going on my husband was sitting staring at his uneaten sub which they got right because I continually repeated what sides to put on it. One thing they are good at is apologizing and making excuses. The manager responded that it was busy and the were doing their best and again how sorry he was. I told him not good enough! They need to listen to their customers and pay attention. I specifically stated I was allergic to peppers and now I was going to have to deal with a reaction. The manager responded again with the same apology and excuse and walked away. I told the gal at the register I wanted my money back and she asked if I had my receipt....Really! Ticked off even more now, so I told her I also wanted a sandwich comped. She had already grabbed the comp cards and handed them to me. "Mike" except for the guy on the slicer, the rest of this team, including the manager, need to be trained in how to take care of the customer when there is a screw up. Being a "Jersey Girl". ( LBI and Manahawkin) I was so excited when your franchises hit the area. I've been to both the Danville and Pleasanton locations and have converted many friends to "Mikes Way". I will continue to frequent these places as they never disappoint. I hope the owner of the Fallon site reads this and, unlike the staff, listens to the customer. Sure the food is awesome, but you have to back it up with great service, especially when it's busy. I'll give this place another chance, but it's going to be a while before I return. read more

Sandwiches are not bad but the employees cannot make a sandwich if their life depended upon it. Every single time the toppings i ask for are never put on the sandwich. Was in on Friday. Seems like you barely get any meat on your sandwich now. Feels like you used to get more. Tired of feeling that places are chintzing on food while raising prices. Sandwich tasted good, but at almost $15 for a sandwich that barely feeds 3 (more like 2 adults), it's just not worth it anymore. There are other places with provide much more meat. This is like Subway (salad on bread), just tastes a little better. Not likely to return. This is the end for a chain when you chintz your loyal customers. read more

Minor annoyance when Cali chicken is listed for $13.95 only to be charged $14.95 at the register with the employee just giving me the cold shrug and rolling the eyes as if I'm the one making a big deal. I know prices can go up ($1 isn't a big deal), but just charge me what it says on the damn menu please. And train your employees to at least sound a bit more apologetic with these kinds of errors. read more

Went to Dublin and ordered 2 giant size sandwiches. Previously had ordered regular size sandwiches and was satisfied. Ordered the same sandwiches today just larger size. One tuna and there was so little tuna on it the sandwich maker could not cover the bottom piece of bread with the tunafish. I said it looked very skimpy he said no it is plenty and I said I disagreed and he gave me a nasty look. Also ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and didn't cover the bread either. Asked for light sauce but got so much sauce that it oozed out of the sandwich. I guess the only thing giant was the piece of bread otherwise it looked to be the same portion of meat a regular sandwich gets. Not impressed, especially with the rude employees on top of skimpy sandwiches. read more

This is right next to Target on the 580. Great food. Having lived near Philadelphia for many years I know what an East Coast Sandwich should taste like. Jersey Mike's is on the money. I love their Italian Sandwich. It is made just like they make them in Philly. They build the sandwich just the way I ask them without any hassle and are very nice people to deal with. great food. but i have a 2 year old that only eats mac & cheese. so i brought his own from home with us on our road trip & they couldn't even heat it up in there microwave. its not the girl behind the counter's faul. its there policy not to use there microwave for anything other than what they serve. but honestly they dont even serve mac & cheese there. so its not taking there business away from selling something. they couldn't use the microwave for a quick moment to please a 2 year old who is crying he want mac & cheese. good food they have but i wong be taking my business back for that. it was not much to heat it up to please a child. read more
