I went here when it opened and it was just fine. Better than Subway for sure. Much, much better. Higher quality ingredients for sure. I do think the price is too high and the value is not the best. Eh. This place is just eh. The staff is super friendly but the food...eh. They only have the option of a soft white or wheat roll. That's it. Idk what they were thinking when they decided that would be their bread options for a sandwich shop. This is not a good sub place. I love the idea. I was highly compelled by their marketing and the thought that someone who understood east coast subbery might finally have arrived to rescue us from our dismal sub-less existence here. I wish they actually had good subs. But they're awful. My credentials: east coast sub shop employee while in college. Generally, you don't find good subs in California. It's an unfortunate and seemingly universal truth. Same like pizza - I'm really not sure why. Maybe it's the water. But maybe - just maybe - it's that we (collectively) don't know better. Just like I'd be hard pressed to find a decent burrito in Boston. I was shocked to see the 4 stars this place is carrying - I wonder how legit some of those Yelp-heavyweight reviews really are (sorry for those that are legit). All that aside - did I mention these subs are awful? I've given it three goes and with my three boys in tow that's a total of 12 different subs on three different occasions. Awful bread. Awful ingredients. Awful preparation. Awful presentation (yes this is a thing with subs). All I can say is - you're better off buying some Acme baguettes and some real deli cuts at your local grocer and rolling your own. Let's hold our restaurants accountable people. This was my first time here, and I'm actually pretty annoyed with the fact that my sandwich was not what I asked for. I ordered the chipotle cheesesteak sub with no peppers and add jalapeños because I really wanted something spicy. But unfortunately when I got in my vehicle to eat my sandwich, there was no jalapeños and no chipotle mayonnaise. Recently moved from the east coast to the west coast. LOVE Jersey Mike's menu offerings. Excellent Italian Subs and Philly's. Chicken Philly is a tasty alternative to the steak. Can't go wrong with a regular size sub. Very filling. Giant size is great for sharing with others. Gotta have it Mike's Way with lettuce, onion, tomato, oil&vinegar, and seasoning. FINALLY A JERSEY MIKES NEAR SF!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am about it opening. Jersey mikes is my absolute favorite sandwich place for many reasons. 1) the staff is friendly, attentive, clean cut, and has good communication skills. 2) the ingredients are so fresh, and that is both seen and tasted. I love how they use very high end meats and they cut it right in front of you, unlike places like subway that already have it pre sliced and have it laying out for who knows how long. 3) MIKES WAY. AMAZING. Enough said. Very healthy and tasty option. Basically, if I had to choose one place to go to for the rest of my life, it would be jersey mikes. No place beats it. Great place for subs! My favorite might be the Club Sub. A little crazy during the lunch rush, and not enough seating, so we've often taken our subs to go. That parking lot gets crazy, too. Not quite road-ragey, but it can get intense. read more

I would honestly say this is an upscale version of Togo's, Quiznos and Subway. Meets are sliced fresh in front of you. Roast beef is roasted in house and the bread is always fresh, which is more to say then most Sandwich spots. Prices are great, especially for the quality of freshness that you are getting. They have many different varieties of sandwiches to choose from as well. I had the Italian and it was mouth watering. I would highly recommend anybody looking for a good and fresh sandwich to stop by. read more

We do have a lot of sandwich places in this area, and so I was a little bit like... hmmm when Jersey Mike's rolled into town. I gotta say, I do like these! They do have more of an East Coast feel than a lot of the sandwich shops around here. They're also more basic IN A GOOD WAY... simple ingredients, kind of like a sandwich you'd make at home if you had all the stuff. And they don't sit there and count out the leaves of lettuce or peppers the way they do at Subway. I think my favorite is the meatball sub, but I've liked everything I've tried. I do like getting the sandwich "Mike's Way." It makes the sandwich tangy but not overwhelmingly heavy. Also good that you can choose your size. Prices are a *little* steep, but the sandwiches are good quality and fairly large so I won't gripe TOO much about that. Service is generally friendly and efficient, but I'm kinda bummed that no one mentioned the "free chips after 4" thing the last time I was in. :( read more

The owner or manager is super nice and friendly here. Does it beat a real authentic philly cheesestake place? Absolutely not. Impressive that the meat is cut fresh in front of you, but it's also in the making of the sandwich. I would compare it to a much cleaner and happier Subway but with really yummy wheat bread. Ordered the Big Kahuna- it wasn't bad, but again, either missing more cheese or just a touch of extra flavor. May come back in the future to try a different sandwich. read more

First yelp review ever. Drove 20 minutes to the nearest jersey mikes, and immediately noticed how dirty the restaurant was. When I went up to order my #13 on the grill, I was told by the employee that they don't grill their sandwiches. This was a complete lie, as I've gone to 50+ different jersey mikes and have ordered this same exact, common meal every time. The employee said the reasoning was he didn't want to get me sick, which was an obvious excuse for his plain laziness to not grill my sandwich. After claiming that I've gotten this same order every time without ever having a problem, he said that jersey mikes is a "franchise" and they don't grill sandwiches at this establishment. After asking multiple times just to grill the sandwich and mentioning that don't care if I get sick, he refused. Left the restaurant without getting anything. Never going back to this "establishment" again. Also the grill was completely clean and looked like it hadn't been fired up all day lol. read more

I was disappointed with the sandwiches. Our family has been there a need of times and tried different sandwiches. You wait in line to get your sandwiches and when they are done, the sauces and ingredients result in a soggy, drippy, messy sandwich. For the same price, we can get better sandwiches at a number of other places in the area. I used to eat Jersey Mike's all the time when I lived in Vegas but I only came for one sub and that was the Italian Combo. All of the rest of the sandwiches are mediocre so I don't recommend it if you're a regular sandwich eater. But if you are into cold cut meats like salami and pepperoni then for sure try the Italian Combo here. Place is clean and wait wasn't too long. read more

I love this place, I come here about twice a week and order the same thing. Giant Club Sub, Mike's Way. Make sure you get it Mike's way, the olive oils they use make it tastes unique. I recommend this over Subway or Togo's any day. The only thing that doesn't let me give it 5 stars is the portion. They have a regular size, but its kinda small. I'm a grown man and eat a little more, The regular leaves me wanting more. The Giant is big enough that I can eat the whole thing or save 1/4 of it for later. Very happy that they have gluten-free subs! Yes, it's Udi's not the best on the market but it's better than nothing. Also, it's a wide udi's bread not the slim one sold at the supermarket. If you've missed on Philly cheese steaks than I recommend the big Kahuna! If cross contamination is an issue let them know and they will clean up the flat top, use clean utensils and they'll heat up the bread on the grill (upon request). read more

I haven't been to Jersey Mike's in years and have only had it once before. Forgot how tasty and fresh their sandwiches are! I got the ham and provolone on rosemary parmesan bread Mike's way and it was delicious! I love how they carve the meat and cheese fresh to order, it makes all the difference. Also, the rosemary bread is super soft and fresh. Their Mike's way sauce includes Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Wine Vinegar, Olive Oil, and Spices. I would recommend getting it this way, but not if you are getting it take out and your sandwich will be sitting for a while because I can see how it can get soggy. I got mine take out and only had a 10 minute drive, so it was still perfectly delicious. Workers are friendly and service was quick. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. They also have 3 different sizes for sandwiches which is great for if you're not so hungry or if you're super duper hungry! read more
