We went this past Wednesday, which was a state holiday. Walked in and was greeted and sat down quickly by Jessica, the owner herself! She promptly took our orders and gave us our drinks. Looked around and noticed it was just her working the front! Taking orders, serving the meals, refilling drinks and bussing tables! Talk about cracking butt! And the service was still awesome! The lechon kawali was very tasty, and it was so crispy! That sauce they put on the onion and tomatoes makes my mouth water fr! It also comes with a separate dipping sauce on the side. My kids shared a garlic chicken plate. It was tasty, we all love garlic in this family haha! Outside crispy, inside juicy! We had the garlic fries for our side order. Once again, if you're a garlic lover this one's for you! Even with the garlic and sauce smothered on the fries, it stayed crispy. Even when we took it home. I recommend this place for your grinds! Next time I'll try the sizzling steak, 2 other groups ordered it and it smells and sounds so good! Always on the hunt for filipino food and i really wanted to like this place but it was a no for me :( The place was nice and roomy but the service was horrible. We waited about 20 mins to get seated which I didnt mind at all, but we waited another 15mins for someone to even check in on us n take our order when we were obviously ready by looking around for someone to come our way. After ordering the wait continued. It was irritating knowing that the 2 parties before us already got their meals while we waited for someone to take our order. We got the tocino plate w adobo fried rice, trio appetizer plate, and supposed to be prime rib special but ended up getting served the prime rib loco moco, didn't want to correct her just becuase we were already so hungry and didnt want to wait so we just decided to keep our mouths shut. Food was a 3/5 i thought the adobo fried rice had more meat n was on the saltier side for my liking. In the middle of our meal they came to check up on us and said they would refill our waters and we said ok thank you. Refill never came, but the 3 other tables got their refills after the fact she said she was gonna refill our water. Same thing when it came to the the check we waited about 10-15 mins to even notice us, and at this point i was just ready to leave, so i walked up to the counter to pay instead of waiting. Came in for breakfast on a weekday, was seated immediately. I believe the owner Jessica was our server and she was friendly and welcoming! My family and I ordered breakfast entrees; longanisa and Portuguese sausage with adobo fried rice and sunny side eggs. Food came out in a timely manner and it was all delicious, wish we were able to try the macadamia pancakes, but they weren't available, maybe next time. Got to try this new establishment early Friday evening. It's been open about 2 weeks and the great reviews left me excited to have a new place to try nearby. Since it was early, there was only one other table already eating and another waiting for their take out order. Baskets on the table holding the condiments are nice and clean. It holds everything you need for hours breakfast or other dishes: pancake syrup, shoyu, Tobasco, salt, pepper, hmm no ketchup? Creamer, sugar,Splenda for your coffee/tea. Water, soft drinks are served in nice glasses. Hubs ordered a teriyaki burger, medium (they ask) , and with waffle fries. BTW - when they brought his meal they did ask if he wanted ketchup. Daughter ordered a regular loco moco patty medium (first time she was asked for a loco moco). I ordered what someone who posted ordered and made it sound so ono: Lechon Kawali with two sunnyside up eggs and with adobo fried rice. Beef patty in the burger was a good size, all beef. Burger even had a fried onion ring besides lettuce and tomato. The waffle fries were nicely salted and didn't need any ketchup. Both daughter and I, who do not usually like waffle fries said they were very good. Hubs said his meal was good. Daughter's loco moco beef patty was huge! Also all beef so it made for a very filling meal. Eggs were cooked just right (over easy). She was happy, and said it was one of the most filling loco mocos she has had. My plate of Lechon Kawali, 2 sunny side up eggs, and adobo fried rice was excellent. The usual vinegar sauce came with it and it was good. The Lechon was nice and crispy and tender inside - perfectly cooked. The thinly sliced red onion was great - no huge too oniony pieces. Tomatoes were good, too. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Adobo fried rice had so much meat it was a meal in itself. Plain white rice would work better with all of the delicious blend of flavors in the Lechon Kawali and the eggs. Next time I will try to order it as a side and eat it as a small meal. Jessica herself was the server. She was very busy but checked on us and offered to refill our drinks several times. When we said we were done she asked if we'd like to try the croissant bread pudding that was freshly made that day. We decided to try it since I was doing Review and we were not disappointed. It was a large piece that came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle, along with some strawberry compote that had some nice bits of orange zest. I haven't encountered a restaurant that serves a steak of liver. And I love liver so I had to try it. My husband got the lechon. The liver was so delicious and the crispy bacon adds to the awesomeness. The lechon was also crispy and yummy. The restaurant is very clean, and the service is great. The water also tastes good. The restaurant that used to be there before them had strange tasting water-- like it tasted like water that came from a garden hose. But this restaurant's water tastes filtered and refreshing. We ordered Teri Cheeseburger w/fries, Oxtail Soup, Jessica's Loco Moco (Homemade Corned Beef Hash & Hamburger) w/over easy eggs, side of Fried Chicken, side of Adobo Fried Rice, Pog juice, and Decaf coffee. Our son approves of the teri burger and fries . Husband's oxtail had some BIG pieces of meat. I mean, HUGE. Wasn't fall off the bone tender, but not tough either. The beef broth is dark and had a rich beefy flavor. It's a pretty good contender in comparison to all the other oxtail soups on the island. Fried chicken was fried chicken. Nothing spectacular about it, but also not bad. Adobo fried rice is good, but probably not a good choice to have with the Oxtail because of all the flavors going on. The corned beef hash and burger patty on my Loco Moco were seasoned well and tasted really good. What I didn't like about it was that my over easy eggs were over cooked.....not runny at all. Also, there wasn't much gravy with it. I asked for extra gravy and she gave me a small side bowl of maybe 1/2 - 3/4 cup gravy. Saw on the bill that it was $5 for the extra gravy. The total bill for our family of 3 came out to about $93 including tax. The menu items are a little pricey, but that won't stop us from coming back. Portion size were so small, my mom ordered the Adobo Fried Rice, which was less than half the plate, then no Adobo to be found!! I got the Lechon kawali which was only a handful portion with so much rice & eggs (not sure what the eggs were for), drinks were in a glass cup with a stem (like a wine glass) so you were actually getting a "small" drink.. 2 plates plus 2 drinks ended up being $52 & some change ... sorry I will go else where for my Adobo Fried Rice & Lechon kawali!! read more

But I have to say that with their new chef, the reasonably priced food has become amazing! The pork chops are great! I love all the breakfast items, especially the mahi or pork chops and eggs! I went on 2 separate occasions once with my cousin and niece because we didn't know what to eat and Jessica's Kitchen popped up on Yelp. So we decided to check it out. Totally didn't disappoint. I got the Traditional Moco & my cousin and niece got the Lechon Kawali with Adobo Fried rice. It was amazing. The 2nd time around I brought a couple of my friends cause they both wanted breakfast at lunch time and Jessica's serves breakfast all day. This time around I got the Hash Moco and my friends got the Macadamia Nut Pancakes w/Haupia sauce w/a side order of bacon. Tried a little of the pancakes. Ooooh so good. As an update, I returned to give Jessica's another try. Thank you Jessica and staff for exceeding expectations and providing a perfect dining experience. The restaurant is spacious and super clean and comfortable. The service was great and our server was super friendly. She actually opened the door for us as we were coming in and made us feel really welcomed. The food came out in a timely manner and boy did it taste great. We ordered Jessica's Moco, prime rib moco, local big breakfast, and the macadamia nut pancakes with haupia sauce. Everything was perfect! The home made corn beef and hamburger patty was the best!! I HAVEN'T EVER ORDERED A PATTY THAT GOOD. I'm always disappointed when ordering corn beef hash because no one does it right EXCEPT Jessica's!!! There was a big piece of prime rib served with the prime loco. What a great deal for the price. I would suggest getting the gravy in the side for both dishes because it's so good that you might not need the gravy especially if you upgrade to the adobo fried rice. BRA, UPGRADE TO THE ADOBO FRIED RICE, if you don't you're missing out! Pancakes were fluffy and even though it looks like a desert they aren't overly sweet. I had a reservation today at 12pm. Was told that there were tables that were gonna leave for us to sit and we have to wait. We decided to leave cause I have an 11 month old baby. But had got a text from the open table 30 mins later that the table was ready. Ok, then why make a reservation? Heard of a restaurant that recently opened in Aiea upstairs where Tony Romas once was, decided it was a good day for an adventure. Parking is abundant so that is a good start. As we walked in we are greeted and sent to any open table. There is only 3 tables available, in my opinion that is a positive. So I am more eager to check out the menu. The ambiance is bright and modern with some mellow music playing in the background that is soft enough to hear and still carry a conversation. Dining room appears clean, spacious and inviting. Service is absolutely awesome, friendly and efficient with a sense of appreciation. We order the Primerib Loco Moco, Chocolate Chip Pancakes, and the Seafood Crab Benedict, Coffee and Water. Coffee and water are being refilled frequently and we got a fresh brewed cup being how busy and not having to ask.
