Waited 15 min to even start getting worked on. Everyone was scattered brained , they would start then stop working on my car over and over. No one knew if the filter had or hadn't been changed, they didn't tell me what oil before they started pumping it. Everyone else waiting also had similar experience where they would start and stop then forget what they had or hadn't done to that vehicle. Once they finished I asked to see the dipstick before I left which turns out was about a quart low. If I hadn't asked I'd be driving off with low oil, good stuff. Took about 45 minutes overall. Jiffy Lube on E. 17th in Costa Mesa. Last few years when arriving to get oil changes they have claimed their equipment isn't working that day or don't have a filter for my 2014 Chevrolet, brushing off the business over and over and meanwhile having no cars being serviced at their business. Their lot was empty. I hope the owner knows what is going on here, it used to be a good place around 5 years ago, but no longer. Meanwhile the other oil change business down the block had cars lined up waiting to have their oil changed. I will likely not go back to this business and will instead look for their competitors who want our business. read more

Even though my experience was horrible! I was able to get in contact with the manager, Danny, who was very apologetic and understanding. He fixed my glove compartment box and even offered to compensate if he couldn't. I really appreciate him trying to make things right and I was happy with the way he treated me. So I have been a happy customer for 15 years. I'm disappointed with this specific location. They do good work and the staff is nice but the place is a mess. The back across the street had a big grass area that they get up, the burger place next store also has grass that looks nice. This place has had grass and the weeds are like 3 feet high. Actually now that I drive away I can see that all 4 corners have really nice landscaping including grass and everything looks really nice except for this place. Again, the service of this place offers is just fine but it sucks that they make a living from the local community but they will not contribute to the beauty of the local community. I have been to this location for the 7th time today. The experience was easy and great. I needed an oil change after work so I drove over around 4pm. I was the only one there, and the whole process took less than 15 minutes. There were 2 people on shift, one expert (Rudy) and someone assisting him. Rudy was great at every point and made me feel very welcome. He checked all the fluids and tire pressure as well and topped off what needed to be. 100% do recommend the location, and I'll eventually be back for a 8th visit. I've only had light servicing work here but its always been easy and worth it. I come in with a 2002 PT Cruiser too. read more

TLDR version...basically paid ~$90 to get my skid plate ruined!! We came here for an oil change before an upcoming trip. I went on my lunch break from work, got the oil change and then went home to get ready for our trip. As we were starting out on our road trip, we started to hear the metal skid plate scrapping the road!!! They didn't screw in the skid plate all the way and now we have ere going to have to go back to have them try to fix it! After about another 20 mins of them trying to force it back on, they declared it a goner and told us they would order a new one. Mind you this is a new car and now I'm having to drive it with out a skid plate! We ended up going on that road trip but haven't heard a peep from them as to them replacing it like they promised! read more

Just drove to this locating this Sunday morning only to wait with three other cars as the place was still closed. Here on yelp and on their website it says it is open Sundays from 8am to 5pm. It is the most inconvenient thing when you wake up early in the morning to get your oil changed and the location is still closed way past it's opening time and I arrived at 8:11am and still waiting! Called and no one answered the phone even tho there was an empty car parked in the lot ( assuming that was an employees car) so unprofessional. I left and went to Valvoline in Santa Ana! All employees were there ready, and professional! And gave me a $25 discount on my synthetic oil change. I had a great experience! They put air in my tires and help me out with anything else I need. When there's a coupon available, I don't even have to ask they automatically apply it. I highly recommend this business. The prices are always reasonable and I have rarely ever had to wait for service. My life has got me driving back and forth up to Northern CA for a seminar, southern CA for another ... many miles to go get a good meal. My car is dirty. There is a crack in my wind shield. This one was farther, but because they had a perfect 5 star rating (and that's hard to get!) I decided the extra drive was worth it. It was! It was as others have mentioned, super quick. Also, because I'm obviously in the Jiffy Lube system and so I never have to make any decisions as to which oil to get... I just get the same one. The guy confirmed - Yes I was just at a Jiffy Lube. Why are you here again? They checked, and verified yes, I'm low and oil. They quickly checked my fluids, tire pressure, etc. and sent me on my way. They were so quick I didn't have a chance to finish the cup of coffee I had poured for myself. After I commented I was the "Jiffy Lube Queen" they gave me a $15 discount!. Nice! read more
