This is long overdue for this location! Ive always hade great service here. I was very happy when I went recently to get my oil change with Carlus and Matthew. Carlus is a great person. I just felt so secure....he handled everything well I loved the communication between him and Matthew. My oil change was done efficiently and quickly and they were so friendly. I will never return. The guys at the shop were very nice and fast. HOWEVER, when I drove the car for the first time after the oil change was done the car made a horrible noise from underneath. I was about to get on the freeway to drive for an hour but could not with that going on ... The Jiffy Lube I originally went to was not opened and the only other open Jiffy Lube refused to help me. SO I went to @PepBoys and they put the car on the lift and found that the undercarriage cover was about to fall off - it had not been secured and there were missing bolts, etc. I suspect the Jiffy Lube tech either misplaced them or just did not put them back in place. Either way, that is really sloppy and could have caused damage or an accident on the freeway if I had just continued to drive. The Pep Boys tech fixed it right away. Now I am not sure if the actual oil change done by Jiffy Lube was executed correctly, so we shall see ... I will in future be taking the vehicle to Pep Boys. read more

Horrible customer service. Eric was the only one who acknowledged me and attempted to work. Michael & John were too engaged in their own very loud inappropriate conversation. I did not appreciate their unprofessional behavior & excessive cussing especially while my children are in the car. I don't feel confident that they did their job competently so I won't be going back. read more

Wow. You think years of customer loyalty would warrant better service. Apparently that's not the case at Jiffy Lube Costa Mesa. As I sat in my car from another seemingly successful oil change I gripped my steering wheel only to find a large gash in addition to a significant amount of oil and grime. Upon letting the manager know, he seemed mildly combative but told me he would submit to corporate and they would contact me in a few days. Well, as you can imagine, no call. I followed up with the same manager who assured me they were just busy but after another week, no call. I followed up again only to speak to another manager who told me he would check with his District Manager. Apparently his DM didn't think it was possible for a mechanic to do what was done to my steering wheel and that was that. Well, I know my quarterly drop in their bucket won't make a difference, but the lack of care and empathy they have for their customers is not worth the few dollars you save. Read before going, I go to this Jiffy Lube for the first time to get an oil change, you know what these people do? Put the WRONG OIL DRAIN BOLT like for real wth... you trust these people to do their job and they don't even know how to do that. Ended up messing with my threads on my drain hole, obviously these people don't take accountability "it's hard to see who did what ". definitely don't go here because these people don't even know how do their job descriptions. I've gone to this Jiffy Lube ever since I moved into the area. But the last time I went it was a new group of guys and they gave zero care. They didn't explain the price options so I was surprised by the cost when they were done. I should have clarified but I trusted I was getting the same thing I always get. Foolish me. But the worst part was my gas line connector started leaking immediately after taking it here. And now it's going to cost me $500 dollars to fix my car. I think the kids working that day were just rushing and trying to turn out cars without being careful. Bad and ultimately experience. read more

Stay clear of this place. They jammed the wrong drain plug, ruined the threads, and used silicone to insert a different size plug into the pans of two of my cars. I now have to buy two new oil pans. Their work is so bad it will cost you more money in the future. Take your time to go to a reputable, trustworthy mechanic for an oil change. This place should lose their business license. read more

Been coming to this spot for about 4 years. Currently for covid you sit in your car for the whole thing which makes it easy. They forgot my tire lock case and called me within 10 minutes of leaving. Just to follow up on my review from 9/15/18 where their tech ran my car in to the corner of their building. They of course painted the building within 2 days of my posting of the pictures of the building!! I wrote corporate & they emailed that the franchise would get in touch with me. Which they never did & corporate never responded when I emailed them that the franchise never contacted me. JIFFY LUBE you are the worst example of a Business!!! Last week I was running a few errants on 17th Street in Costa Mesa, and I realized my oil light came on saying it was "time for an oil change" I remembered a few months ago, I went to the Jiffy Lube on 17th Street, in Costa Mesa and it seemed like they were finished in a few minutes. I remember it was a positive experience for me and the guys were talking back and forth to each other, working well as a team. I loved that great energy and their fun personalities!! I pulled into the Jiffy Lube and met their staff, Danny, Dylan and Pete. They were so friendly and ready to work. We spoke for a few minutes and I asked about their coupons. They had one that I was able to use. They put the synthetic oil in my Tahoe and gave me the sticker reminder for my windshield. (That really helps me... :) All I can say is.... they were fast, fun and very professional. I appreciated that since I had a full day of errands.
