This if my first oil change since I moved to California, and for a 21 year old girl going to get an oil change I felt that all the gentlemen were just that, gentlemen. They were very helpful, explained every step of the way to me, and even helped describe some of the things he was doing during the oil change. They did talk me into getting the premium oil change or whatever, meaning I can come back and get my fluids (no clue what this means or includes) filled...but overall I only paid about $30 because if you check-in (DON'T FORGET TO CHECK IN!!), you get $12 off your service. The guy that checked me in was very sweet and had an awesome mechanic's mustache that I really appreciated, and the gentleman that helped to explain everything to me and ring me up was very kind and helpful. Overall this only took about 30 minutes which was great. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars was because they said they filled up my tires...but they still look a bit flat. Service was great, and a lot cheaper than my Mazda dealership. Jorge ordered a cabin filter for my 2012 Mazda 3 and made sure it was delivered that day so that I could get my oil changed and new air filters the same day I called. It was fast and I felt comfortable. As a young woman, it's hard to find a car place that you trust. Ask for Jorge when you go in and he'll take care of you! Jiffy Lube has always done our five vehicles at Farthing Development Inc. oil changes. They are always very polite and knowledgeable. They always know what brand and weight oil I want. I came in for an oil change and the transmission fluid had be changed. They could fit me right in and everybody was very nice. It took a little longer than expected due to technical difficulties but they gave me a nice discount. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, with a TV and coffee waiting for you. Okay everyone I've encountered that works here is so nice and helpful! They go above and beyond, not to mention they really do get you in and out in a jiffy! They also have free coffee which I drank all of and they didn't even mind. The prices may seem a little high but if you're nice to them they're nice to you and they'll help you out. I even got some free windshield swipers and they put them on for me! Love this place even though I hate having to get work done on my car. They make it as painless as possible. read more

It was my first time to a Jiffy Lube because Econo Lube down the street has gone up in price so much. The last time I got a basic oil change there it was almost $50!! Here I was helped quickly and professionally. Unfortunately I didn't get his name, but the guy who helped me today was very helpful and didn't try to sell me on any higher oil change packages. I asked him the difference between them all and told him I still just only needed the $24.99 one and he didn't push or try to sell me anything more expensive. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. The service was extremely quick that the waiting area was clean. The employees were friendly. However, I had an issue with having smoke come out from under the hood of my car after getting a couple miles from the location. They were very nice and offered to fix the problem, which was oil spilled all over the inside of my engine bay. This defeated the reason for using Jiffy Lube in the first place which was to have a quick, hassle free oil change to fit in a busy schedule. It ended up taking over an hour from the time I pulled up to have the oil change until the return trip was complete without smoke. read more

The people working here are very friendly and polite. They didn't try to upsell or pressure me to purchase any of of their products. I'm usually hesitant about car services, so I asked to see if I can take a look at my car fluids. David reassured me that they top offed everything in my car and took the time to show me what the employees refilled. I came here for an oil change and the staff was very friendly and helpful! They changed my oil and my ac filters in less than 20 minutes, all for $115. Hugo has great customer service, I highly recommend asking for him, but everyone there was great. I dont' know anything about cars, and Hugo explained what I would need without overselling or emptying my pockets. I came in to take my sisters car for an oil change and this place was recommended by one of my customers at work...they did try to up sell something for my air filters or something (I'm very clueless about cars) but they were not pushy about it after I said no thanks. I had a transmission flush, rear differential fluid change 1.5 years ago. The next day, a puddle of transmission fluid on my garage floor. Brought it back the next day on Monday and missed a half day of work. The Manager and tech that worked on it, called around to his superiors for authorization to repair as he stripped the threads in the drain plug and he wasn't sure how to proceed; try re-threading the hole with a new oversized bolt or replacing the drain pan. I listened to his phone conversation and it didn't sound like anyone wanted to authorize the repairs. 3 hours later he said it was fixed and it did not leak. Fast forward to present day, I had the transmission fluid changed and requested the rear differential fluid changed. They would not change the rear differential fluid because they said they did not have the right size socket to remove it (not true). I had them change the transmission fluid and recognized the guy that checked me in from last time an he actually remembered the scenario and said that it had been repaired. I paid, left and drove home. The same day, same scenario, puddle of transmission fluid on garage floor. I took it back, this time a new manager and he said that the old manager no longer worked there and he had to get authorization to repair but his supervisor is on vacation for 1 week. He placed anti-tamper red goop on the drain plug and said if it was disturbed they would not consider repairing it. I could not wait a week for an answer so I purchased an oversized drain plug bolt with a tapping kit, drilled out the hole and re-tapped it for the new drain plug bolt. Problem solved by self-performing the repairs and no more drama from Jiffy Lube. I then changed the rear differential fluid myself. The filler plug bolt head was almost stripped with rounded corners and I got it off with a breaker bar and a manual impact hammer. It turns out that the magnetic drain plug was placed at the filler plug and the filler plug was placed at the drain plug (same size bolt but one is magnetic to catch metal shavings). The Jiffy Lube techs probably couldn't get the filler plug off because it was over tightened by them the last time they changed this fluid and they were afraid to strip it and then have a secondary problem. Buyer beware! They do not seem very conscientious and they do not backup their work and their own employees errors and mistakes and they had me drive away with my transmission drain plug barely hanging, not once but twice by two different managers on both occasions. I typically do a lot of repairs on my vehicle myself such as oil changes but had used Jiffy Lube for all other fluid changes in the past 10 years. I do not recommend getting any fluid changes here and I would recommend going to a qualified mechanic and not a oil change service company, unless you are mechanically inclined and can perform the work yourself. read more

Just to start I never review anything. I have made a exception for this in counter with Jiffy Lube. I pulled up with my two kids and a sweet coupon I got online ready for a cheap fast oil change. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who waved me forward over their pits. As I turned off my car I heard the sweet screeching of a irate man. So I got out of my car asking the nice man WTF was that. He informed me that it's going to be a hour to get your oil changed. Mind you there was only one other car in the shop. I asked again who was that screaming. The poor guy was so embarrassed, but got the nerve to ask the crazed man to not talk to him like that in front of customers. The man replied SHUT UP. So I asked again who is that. He reluctantly told me that was his manager. At that point I had enough. Never should anyone get chewed out like that, and never in front of a customer and childern. I decided to confront the "manager" who I found out to be George. With nice guy (forgot his name) next to me I laid into George with everything thing I had. All the meantime George giving nice guy the evil eye like he put me up to it. Over time I think it sunk into George how it was SO inappropriate to talk to anyone like that. I made him apologize to poor nice guy, and informed George to do some soul searching. The point of this review is for Georges manager to see that he needs some training on how to treat a human being. By the way went to 17th Street and was treated like a paying customers. By people that don't chew their employees out. read more
