A near death experience. Got my oil changed before I had to drive back to Long Beach in April. Paid a lot. As I'm pulling out my car stops dead in the middle of busy main st. I start it again, go about 20 ft, and it stops again. Cars are honking and nearly hitting us. My boyfriend shouts to get out so I don't get hit, as he pushes it around the intersection and back to jiffy lube. We take it back, they forgot to hook something back up. My shy boyfriend try's to stand up to the giant manager, who belittles him by saying "awe, don't be scared little guy" and offers no refund or compensation. Also, they were unable to rotate my tires since they did not have the right equipment, which led to me later spending 500$ on new tires since they became bald at an uneven rate. And my check oil light has not stopped beeping and blinking since this horrible experience. Wish they had at least offered some refund, I know mistakes happen, but what a horrible experience. read more

Let me leave with NO oil in my car because I told them I just wanted the oil change without the sales pitch for the up sell. They cost me $3000 to get a new engine in my car. Speedee across the street is much better. Do not go to Jiffy Lube. This place sucks! I call for a quick oil change quote for a 72 f100 and the guy on the phone said they couldn't do it because he don't have the filter for it . Really... these guys order filters all the time from O' raillys and autozone, and they couldn't even offer me anything. Lazy-ass mofos. read more

I will never come back to this location! I took my car in for a simple oil change and left with a broken battery cover! The tech didn't know how to remove the cover and broke the clips that hold it in place. Now I have to drive around for a week with the cover duct tapped in place. More training for your techs would be a good thing! read more

Jiffy lube Manteca did a fantastic job & took great care of me as they always do. The shop operates like a well oiled machine $ the crew always seems to have real good moral. The mechanic seen a problem under the hood... misaligned belt & failing tensioner. They were able to get the part, perform the repairs, and change the oil, all in less than 45 minutes! Great customer service and positive vibes but I was not impressed with speed of service. This is not my usual jiffy lube but had time to kill and was in the area. They were a little busy and they seemed to be well staffed. It took about an hour total for the oil change. That's 40-30 minutes more than my concord location. read more

Went to get an oil change. Arrived at about 2 pm. Car was finished after 4 pm. When I asked, about half way through, how long it would be I was told Bt Robert that , "they told you it would be an hour and a half. It was your choice to stay." Never mind that my car was blocked in by that point, and in the shop. They had maybe four people working and cars just stacked up. While I was there an Arab gentleman asked what a certain charge on his bill was and Robert responded, "This is America man, we charge tax." Which seemed to me to be about as ridiculous a statement as possible. I mentioned that maybe they should offer people a discount due to the time it was taking I was told by Robert that if we didn't want to wait we could have left. Well. We won't be back. I don't know how this place can get a bad rating. I feel like people just like to complain. The staff everytime I come in is very friendly and helpful. They don't try to tell you 18 filters need replaced. Always willing to figure out a coupon to use to save you money. Great service. read more

There was a little bit of a wait, but instead of having me unload my kids and wait inside, CJ and another young man (I wish I had gotten his name) added coolant to my car right then and there. This is the only place I take my vehicle to for a quick oil change and inspection! The staff at this location is great; very efficient, honest, and friendly. Each time I come by, I am in and out within 20 minutes. They even take the time to check other needs your vehicle may be due for such as your tire pressure, headlights, and filters. Was told I would have to put my car through the line to top off on oil, that it was first come first serve. Basically it would have taken a half hour for them to even pop my hood. All I wanted was to top off!! I paid for it when I bought the oil change. I ended up just adding a quart on my own. BTW, the other oil changing place in Manteca didn't make me wait in line or drive through their work area. They just added the oil right where I was parked in the parking lot off of Louise. And their oil change package was cheaper. I'll be returning there next time. read more

I have a regular auto repair shop I take my car to. My last visit to Jiffy Lube was only because I was driving out of town, and needed my oil changed and my mechanic was booked. Everyone is very nice, yes. That is about all I can say as a positive. They always try to up sell you, especially if you're a female. I left there, and my car temp was getting high, but I was close to home, and it was a hot summer day, no worry on my part. Parked my car in the garage, went about my day. Went to run an errand and all my coolant had leaked from my car!! So, they may have added coolant, but did NOT properly close it. Imagine if I had left that night/day after being serviced and I overheated on the road with a car full of people? I was very upset. Then, another thing, was they filled my washer fluid, with WATER!!!! Seriously, for almost $60, I will never go there again. Sorry. read more

Good clean work. No complaints. It does bug me that they pull the air cleaner element out every time to show it to me. I had a old Volvo I would take there and they broke the air cleaner housing clips. Normal wear and tear I guess. The service price is a bit high but nothing when compared to the cost of replacing an engine. read more

My husband went for oil change the other day 04.02.18. Everything seems okay until we noticed they broke the cover of the compartment below the arm rest. It usually slides in and out, it was purposely broken because the cover was missing. There's another review here about finding their glove compartment being broken after the service. Beware of these guys. Check your car inside and out before you leave the area. Make sure all your compartments are still intact. Go somewhere else for oil change. read more

I was driving back from Stockton today and all of a sudden I heard a weird dragging noise from my car. Initially I thought it was the road, but when I stopped at the side of the road, I saw something hanging loose under my car. I was 4 miles away from this location and so I called them. The gentleman on the phone was very friendly and said I could just drop by so they can look under my car. When I got there, they quickly fixed my car. They were so friendly and quick to find the problem. If I lived in Manteca, I would definitely come here again. Not all Jiffy Lubes are the same, I was reluctant to come here at first but I'm so glad I did. read more

I have been here once before and it was ok, but today I show up and they tell me it will be a 25 min wait, I walk across to the grocery store and come back and my car is still sitting in front of the bay. They tell me that my battery is dead and the car won't start. When I asked if they could help jump the car battery they said they don't have any cables, and that my only option is to buy a new battery or they will help push my car out of the way. I understand that it is not their job to help with a dead battery, so thanks for helping push the car out of the way I guess? Way to have the absolute minimum customer service guys! Holy crap they were friendly. I've been to many other Jiffy Lube's and they were friendly but nothing over the top. Here a gentleman immediately met me at my car and introduced himself and asked some friendly questions just to get to know me before talking about the car. I drive a fleet vehicle so I never see any prices and can't speak to that nature. The only improvement I'd make is a WiFi network for guests. The only downside was (as like other jiffy lubes) the chairs are narrow as hell, way to small for my 6'8" self. The amazingly powerful air conditioner made this a 5 star visit. read more

Brought my car here for the first time and i loved it! When i arrived they opened my car door for me which surprised me and escorted me inside where they had coffee and water. They then called me ti the counter about 15 min later and the guy asked me what kind of oil i wanted, etc. The staff was super professional and nice. I would definitely go back! read more

The guys here are always super nice and helpful. I always bring my car here even though it costs a little extra because they go the extra mile (topping off all fluids, vacuuming floors, cleaning windows, and drinks available for.guests all included with a standard oil change).
