I visited this restaurant for the first time a week ago with some friends to celebrate their anniversary! I really enjoyed dining at this location of Jin 28. The service was crazy fast, it was less than 15 minutes I'd say for our food to get out to us. Our server was attentive to our beverages and making sure we had all we needed. I found the restaurant to be very clean, especially the bathrooms. The vibe and decoration of the restaurant is very noteworthy too, you certainly feel like you're in a different world. We were just discussing about how we never leave reviews - because we just don't usually lol. However, this place has been consistently amazing and I feel they deserve to be recognized. My husband and I just moved to Carol Stream and this will definitely be a top Thai spot for us. The pad si ew was very well priced and they packed the container full which is always appreciated! The noodles, meat, eggs and veggies were all cooked really well and we had leftovers for the next day. The crab rangoon comes as an order of 6 which is awesome for when you want to split an order in half. :) The hostess/waitress was very friendly as we entered the restaurant and our go-to order was ready in less than 15 minutes! So I was completely unaware this was a newer Chinese restaurant that replaced what was to me originally another Chinese restaurant I didn't like. Once it clicked and I was seeing the food reviewed I wanted to give it a try since I'm on a never ending quest for good local Chinese food. The interior is really nice looking and clean. I haven't dined in yet but have been inside for pickup. We've tried the Egg Rolls, Vegetable Egg Rolls, Beef and Broccoli, Combo Fried Rice, Yu Shan Broccoli (vegetarian) and Orange Chicken. Both types of egg rolls were pretty traditional and seemed exactly the same flavor wise so I'd probably stick to the no meat ones in the future bc why not. Beef and Broccoli had a good flavor although as a personal preference I would like the beef to be more thinly sliced. Fried Rice was great. Orange Chicken was surprisingly the best which isn't usually our favorite. Really fresh tasting and flavorful with a little spice. Chicken all seemed to be white meat. The Yu Shan Broccoli was just ok to me. I probably wouldn't order that again. Everything seems priced right if not a little lower than expected bc you get a lot of food. As a side note the items that come with white rice come with a very small container so if you really like a lot of rice I'd order/request more. I must say the egg rolls were the best part. I'll give the egg rolls an 8/10. Everything else was sub par. Sushi was super bland. Flavorless and I'd say unenjoyable. Won't dine back in this place. The food is EXCELLENT! I had the Orange Beef and Combination (beef,chicken and shrimp) fried rice. The orange beef was in a delicate, spicy yet sweet brown sauce which only made the beef supreme. The beef was delicately breaded and cooked perfectly. The rice had spice added, per my request , and it created a fantastic fusion in my mouth. Grease was nonexistent, just pure perfection for the discriminate palate, like myself. I've tried this place a half dozen times and have never really found anything I liked. Most of the dishes come with way too much sauce and are soupy. The shrimp was overcooked both times I had it. The pad Thai was the worst I've ever had. The egg drop soup is loaded with egg, but has no flavor and needed seasoning. I did like the egg rolls, and the steamed rice was usually pretty good. I have to give a 3 star rating because I didn't really eat the Chinese food. I ate the sushi. It was reasonably priced however I wasn't crazy about it, The shrimp was that really inexpensive thin slice and the white fish was again very thin slice a sliver and it just didn't taste that great. They have pretty good sushi and Thai food. I've always been satisfied with their sushi and fried rice.

Jin has always been my go to for sushi! The Mexican roll is my favorite. My daughter loves the smoothies and meat sticks.
