This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Long Beach! Although I have never eaten at the actual location, I have ordered delivery about 6 times and have never been disappointed. The orders always come exactly as ordered without any errors. The amount of food you get for the amount of money is fantastic. The portions are huge! The delivery is quick as well. The flavor is awesome!! They even have French fries for my son who's a picky eater. The soups and all the different fried rice are delicious. We have only ever ordered delivery from here, but this is the best place to get Chinese from. I usually go for their combos, and it comes with so much food. Tonight I went for the shrimp chop suey, whereas my fiancé got his usual, the honey garlic chicken. Because we got combos, we also got vegetable rolls, ragoons and egg drop soup. They pack the boxes to the brim with food, and it tastes amazing too! Lots of flavor, and even the cuts of the meat are good! I got the cashew chicken and an order of cheese wontons. The chicken and cashews were pretty good but the cheese wontons almost killed me. They are loaded with onions and some other terrible flavor that I wasn't expecting. As inexpensive as it was, I don't feel like I got my money's worth unfortunately. I deliver for door dash and I went in there the other day to pick up two orders to deliver. I created a Yelp account just to give other door dashers a heads up. I am not one to be petty or blow things out of proportion but my experience here was astonishing to say the least. As for my credibility, I have delivered over one thousand deliveries all over OC and have a 4.9 rating and not once have I seen such an entitled customer service lady in my life. After I gave her the names for the orders with no reason at all she screamed and me " show me". I couldn't believe my fucking ears. I was not about to make a scene with this lady so I grabbed the order and left. As I was leaving I could here her almost yelling at another customer to hurry up and order. Found my local spot. So good. If you are looking for a place that is Chinese/Thai this is it! All of our food was delicious. It was not greasy at all. We ordered the veggie egg rolls, they were crispy and very hot on arrival. So good! We ordered a veggie entree, sesame chicken, shrimp chow mein and it was all delicious! The veggies were fresh and not whittled. Everything was piping hot. It was not overly greasy or greasy at all, very happy with that!! This is one of the better Chinese deliveries in the area. And I know my Asian delivery spots in the area... I usually order Thai or Korean because I could cook mean Chinese but this place is amazing for the price point and convenience. The portions are generous and they're quick! We ordered the Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Tofu combination meals with cream cheese wontons, egg rolls, and veggie mushu. It was so much food! I ate all the egg rolls and wontons because who likes leftover fried food?! But I probably only had half the tofu. I tried a different takeout place on Christmas day, and they delivered over two hours past the estimated time - I kind of expected something similar here, but was pleasantly surprised! Interesting place. They do things differently. They offer big portions you pay for individually instead of purchasing a single combo meal. You have to buy everything in big portions and hope you have guests to eat with you so nothing goes to waste. Food flavor is meh. They have 1/2 and full size orders of food and I find the 1/2 is the best deal and allows for a more varied meal. The Hot and Sour soup is excellent and the best deal in town at $3.00 The pot stickers are average and kind of small for the money. So many good choices. A little gem hidden away in a strip mall. I'm not one for fast chinese food, but I had a craving, so I checked yelp, and this place came up. I'm super happy I tried it out! You walk in and it looks like it used to be one of those places where they have all the entree selections sitting behind class and you pick which ones you want (bleh!). However, it's actually made to order! Ordered on a Tuesday night around 8:15 PM. Grubhub estimated a delivery of 9:15, driver arrived early at 8:50 PM. My order consisted of Mongolian Beef Combo with fried rice and eggs rolls. Added a side of hot n' sour soup and chicken wings. The combo portion is easily enough for two meals. Everything was as expected and good. Plenty of tender beef with stir fried onions in tasty sauce, chicken wings were deep fried with sauce on side, egg rolls were crispy, and hot n' sour was just right. Soda was still cool. This place is a hidden gem! I can't believe I haven't been here before. I have been craving egg foo young, and not a lot of places make it anymore. I found JJ's and they offer several different meat and non meat options for it. We ordered the shrimp egg foo young, kung pao tofu and vegetable chow mein. We arrived less than 15 minutes after ordering and it was already bagged up and ready to go. The food was piping hot (i've never had take out food so hot before), it was definitely freshly made. And the portions were very generous. The egg foo young was so good, just what I wanted. Crispy little egg pies (not too greasy at all) with lots of whole pieces of shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised. The kung pao was also really good and so was the chow mein. And I have to mention that the food was packaged with care. You could tell that they wanted it to arrive at your destination intact and maintain its visual appeal, with the dividers they used, and such.
