I never write reviews but I had to this time. Very bad experience. It took forever them to get it ready but that's understandable. Repairs are unpredictable and can take longer. It was very frustrating in this case tho because Gabriel who initially was handling my case didn't seem to have correct updates or follow ups, He would say come get your vehicle and only to show up and find out that they hadn't even started working on it. I even sent him text letting him know my frustration but he just ghosted me on that. Finally picked up my truck. Quickly discovered some sound from the back. And my tires were wearing uneven. Brought it back to Hudson. They said it's ready to pick up. I went to pick it up. They said, they don't know why tire was wearing uneven. Didn't fix the noise coming from the back. However they scratched and dinged my front passenger side door. Ford said uneven wear was due to alignment issue which Hudson collision should have taken care of before releasing the vehicle back to me. Now they are not willing to fix the noise or replace my Tires. Store manager Randy sure made me feel like I was annoying and nagging. Honestly at this point I'd rather just take my truck somewhere else and pay out of my pocket. read more

He made me feel comfortable and told me that he was going to look out for me. After getting my car back from Joe Hudson, not only were the repairs completed super fast (5 business days) my car looked better than it did BEFORE my accident. I was in a hit and run on a Friday. I needed a whole new qrtr panel on the passenger side. dropped the car off Monday. Very nice staff. Felt like you were talking to friends. After getting home I received a text that said estimated time for pickup was Friday. They updated me again on Wednesday saying they were on target. It was easy to work with Joe Hudson's collision center. The customer service is fast and they communicated with my insurance company and taking care of the repair. My car dropped into a construction hole without warming signs and fence around it. I had to get the front and back bumper replaced and several lights popped out and wires are loose because of the broken bumper. They did a great work on painting and put my car back together nicely. I love my beetle and want to keep it longer. The Carrollton office works with Progressive insurance and enterprise car rental. A enterprise agent brings the car to Joe Hudson site and I can drive to work right after I dropped off my beetle. read more

Fantastic experience here from start to finish. Very easy to deal with, excellent communication and they even handled dealing with the rental car company. Really smooth easy all around. Repair was done in 2 days and was good as new. They dealt directly with StateFarm I was not out of pocket a penny for anything. Highly recommend these folks! read more

My vehicle was promised to be repaired in 4 weeks period they kept coming up with excuse after excuse period then when they promise it period there was still quality control errors and end up taking a total of 8 weeks. When I finally received my vehicle. I got home and was driving down the road, and the cable for the spare tire dropped out . They did not put the spare back in the car or secure the cable. I had to come twenty miles back to the shop. They refuse to reimburse me for gasoline and toll's . I am definitely going to report them to my insurance company. And will never use them or recommend them to anyone. Very poor service don't use them. read more

First of all, I NEVER have written a bad review but these people were so rude I can't let it slide. Allstate made an appointment for my car to be looked at and sent me here. Receptionist was on the phone and the 2 men right next to her in the lobby didn't even look up from their computers. I had to " interrupt" one of them to get acknowledged. Once she was off the phone she told me they weren't able to accommodate me. I did not make this appt- it was made for me by the insurance company. They couldn't (and wouldn't) offer any solutions. I was referred here by the other partie's insurance company as a preferred body shop. i had to read the reviews to feel comfortable to decide. And im really glad I did. John was my main point of contact/tech. He was amazing. When we thought the job was done and his colleague called me to tell me, John called me right back and said he actually wasnt satisfied with the final result and wanted to keep my car another day or two to do it right. I really appreciated the integrity here. The communication was so thorough - they kept me in the loop so much so I never questioned how long it may take or what is happening. I haven't been to a paint/body shop like this since the '70s. They actually CARE about you and want to help you. Everybody around here is cheerful and obviously enjoy what they're doing. An Uber home was $27+ one way. Jeff said "Forget about that. I'll have you outta here in around an hour." And he did. And, oh yeah... my car looks fantastic. Update: Owner commented saying that they worked with my insurance company "to have things financially taken care of for me". Untrue. They never had my insurance on record. I had to continuously work with the lady who hit my car's insurance to get my car fixed and I have since asked them to not recommend Joe Hudson Collision Center to their customers anymore. Also, all the damage was fully covered by that lady's insurance, regardless. It had nothing to do with Joe Hudson Collision Center trying to help out financially. I tried to contact Joe Hudson Collision Center about the problems with my car they caused and they went dark and I didn't hear back from them. Totally unprofessional and unhelpful. This comment by the owner seems as if he is trying to save face. I took my car to AMM Collision Center where they were nothing but nice and helpful and showed me where Joe Hudson Collision Center glued and taped my door back together. AMM worked with me financially and with the lady's insurance. AMM Collision is very helpful. read more

Terrible experience with this place. I started repairs Feb 2017 and have taken it back twice since so that they can redo work. First time there I was almost certain they stole the original tires from the car. I have no proof of this and didn't want to accuse anyone of this. 2nd time, Bryan said he saw nothing wrong and did nothing. Third time (July 2018) they FINALLY see the problems and fix. However, they also removed a piece from a door they weren't even working on. I spoke to Josh, who could care less about this and offered nothing to help. Use your insurance dollars elsewhere! read more

I'm incredibly impressed by the service and customer support of these guys. Jeff went above and beyond in helping us in every step of the repair and even stepped in when the Geico Inspector on site wouldn't cooperate in completing our repairs to original quality. I can't recommend Joe Hudson Collision Center enough. I do not recommend going through the Geico Express Auto Repair process at this location. The Geico agent had no communication with us, did not inform us of what parts were being put on the car, did not inspect and find all the damage to the car, and he was unwilling to fix his mistakes. Stick to going to the body shop as an independent customer. read more

This place is amazing. I took my car to them after getting in an accident. They took pictures of the car provided me with the estimate told me when I could bring it in. They worked directly with the insurance company (from the other party that hit me). They called the rental car place for me, I kept receiving regular updates via text and phone calls I knew what was going on with my car where it was in the process without even being there. When I arrived to pick up the car they said I can leave the rental with them and they will take care of getting the car back to rental company. The guy showed me everything they did to the car; and how they took care of the problem. The car looked amazing like I was picking it up from the dealership spotless inside and out. Amazing work. I just had two vehicles repaired here due to accidents caused by other drivers in the last month. I was so impressed with my first vehicle that when the other one needed to be fixed, I requested Joe Hudson over the other guys even though they are out of my way. First off, I set an appointment to meet wit Doug (which is great) he and the insurance person looked at my vehicle and gave me an idea how long it would take. They sent me right over to Enterprise (which is also great, I might add!) which is on-site and did not take long at all and I was on my way. That day I received a text that my car was already in the shop and working on repairs. Throughout the process they kept in contact with me, assembly, Q.C., car wash, etc. They were fast, friendly and I would definitely recommend them. I brought my son's vehicle on Christmas Eve and did not expect it back until after the New Year and I was surprised that it was ready New Years Eve. As a final note, their waiting room had bottle water, coffee & hot chocolate and a variety of items that I did not look at yet might have been different coffee or tea. And someone was nice enough to come out and show my husband & son how to use the machine. read more
