Pho Tai and pork egg rolls
    Erica G.

This Restaurant is great for big groups, open, airy space with a fun street-style Vietnamese vibe. The soda chanh was incredibly refreshing and one of the highlights of the meal. The pho had great flavor, though it was a bit saltier than I personally prefer. Overall, a great atmosphere and I'd definitely come back.

I want to be honest about my experience at this restaurant. The food is five stars all the way, especially the pho, which was really tasty. However, the customer service needs some improvement. There was no greeting when we arrived, and nobody checked on us to see if our meal was good. On the bright side, the place was clean, which is always a plus. Overall, I enjoyed the food but hope to see better service next time.

This is as authentic as it gets. The dining room is spacious, clean, and the decorations remind me of the big fancy restaurants in Saigon. The menu here is extensive! The food is delicious. We have had pork chops and rice plates, bun cha Hanoi, various banh mi, cha gio (eggrolls), Fresh rolls, and the hue combination plate. All were very good. The pho is also solid. I love the free dessert bar-with soft serve machines, coconut waffles, and misc tapiocas.

Had a great experience at Joe's Pho in Dublin! The pho broth tastes homemade and has so much depth and flavor, definitely one of the highlights of the meal. They also give you a generous portion of meat and toppings, and I love that they offer different pho sizes. Even the regular size is a very satisfying portion. The fried spring rolls were fresh and clearly made to order, crispy, hot, and delicious. Since it was a slower time when we visited, the service was very attentive and welcoming. The restaurant itself is spacious and a great option for larger groups. Another bonus is the location, it's right across from the movie theater, which makes it a perfect spot to grab dinner before a movie. Definitely a place I'd come back to!

The chicken rice plate was mediocre. Tasteless, the can soda was bland. And the customer service was ok.

Updating my review from 5 stars to 3 stars based on my most recent visits. I used to really enjoy coming here, but unfortunately the quality and consistency haven't been the same lately. One thing I always appreciated was the complimentary dessert, but the last few times we visited they were out every single time. Not a huge deal, but definitely noticeable when it used to be part of the experience. We ordered pho and it arrived lukewarm, almost like it had been sitting out before being served. That was disappointing since a hot, flavorful broth is what makes pho so comforting. We also ordered the pork egg rolls, but the texture seemed off and they tasted undercooked. The spring rolls were the highlight of the meal though -- fresh, flavorful, and honestly the best thing we ordered that day. I'm hoping this was just a rough stretch because I've had great experiences here in the past, but based on these recent visits, I felt it was fair to update my rating.

The appetizer rice cup cake is so delicious! Will order again. I always like the rib pho. Such a great price for such a huge bowl and rib! Service is fast, accurate, patient. I asked to have my spicy soup into non spicy: no question asked and immediately changed. That WAS customer service! Ambiance was nice, huge store, clean and bright. Plenty of parking in the theatre parking lot.

Came by for a late dinner and my party of 4 were seated right away. The restaurant was about 1/3 full and was very clean. We were given menus and water but had to flag down our waiter who was chatting with another coworker. Items ordered: Sate beef noodle soup- They entered the correct item on the check but I was given a beef stew instead. Beef stew was a large portion with plenty of meat and tasted flavorful. Large BBH2- Large beef rib with plenty of protein. Regular chicken breast with broccoli pho- Large bowl of protein and noodles. Kiddo enjoyed this Kids filet mignon pho- Perfect amount of noodles, meat, and broth. Kiddo finished this Fruit tea (green tea) less sweet- love their fruit teas Crab crunchy roll- I enjoyed this but prefer the regular egg roll. Just wanted to change this up. Our waiter did not check on us so I am thankful that they leave to go containers on a table for us to take. I also just flagged down another employee to pay for our bill. Service could def be better but they were about 40 min from closing by the time we left.

Didn't try the pho but had the rice plate and it was very good. I ordered the Korean short rib plate and it was very good. I restaurant inside is very nice and very open. They have a big bumble bee statue inside the restaurant. The service good waiters took care of my big party for dinner. The cherry on top is they have free vanilla soft serve inside. Always have room for a sweet treat after! Overall I give this establishment a 4/5 star review. Will definitely be back to try the pho on my next visit!

Came here late on a Sunday night and lucky for us last call is at 10:45pm. This is located right next to the movie theaters. I've been to the one in San Leandro and wasn't aware they had a location in Dublin, we will go here from now on! The restaurant is spacious inside and service was friendly and fast. We had a pork chop rice plate and large combo pho, and ban xeo for appetizers. Everything was delicious! Even Thai tea with boba. They don't add service charge like San Leandro so I like that. The ban xeo was my favorite as it was crispy and fresh. Definitely recommend this place if you're craving Vietnamese food.

It was early dinner time on a Friday evening and it wasn't overly crowded. All 6 of us got different items and overall it's a matter of preference for what kind of broth and protein you'd like that depicts the meal, the toppings are generally all the same. Consider this place to almost be a "make your own ramen" type of thing, in that you're given a platter of toppings to add to your bowl of steaming hot broth, mix it and let it sit, then voila! It's ready to eat. For a rainy winter evening, it was perfect to have some tasty noodle soup!

The service was really good, they are super on top of cleaning and serving so my food came out in about 15-20 minutes. I got the combo with an appetizer, drink, and noodle soup. The portions were pretty generous. -grapefruit tea: thought it was pretty yummy! I also tried out the super fruit tea and i really liked it but personally found it to be a little too sweet. Not too much to displease though! I mixed some water and it was perfect for me. -tomato beef brisket noodle soup: i was surprised by how tender the meat was and how much they actually give you. If you love tomato soups as much as i do then it's definitely a great option! -takoyaki & lamb skewers: my sister had one dish from her combo order and i has my own but was able to try both! The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. Give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good eat without breaking the wallet!

Checking out the menu, it's limited to Jajangmyeon, jjamppong, stir-fried noodles and rice, pork, chicken and shrimp dishes, mandu and Korean chicken wings. I love jajangmyeon and ordered it with extra noodles. The bowl of noodles came with a thick savory black bean sauce with some pork and vegetables. The taste was spot-on and it's comparable to my favorite Jajangmyeon that I get in the City. You get pickled radish with your food with refills. Now I can get closer to home. Jajangmyeon is a Korean-Chinese dish and they do it well here. Four of the five of us had the jajangmyeon and one at the vegetable stir-fried noodles. Everyone was happy with their food. Overall, I really enjoyed the food here. The chicken rice was aromatic, flavorful and had a really nice texture to it. The chicken is tender and the thin outer skin has a gelatinous quality to it like a well-prepared Hainanese chicken. Honestly I had no notes on this dish. Hard to improve. I generally avoid roast duck at restaurants because of how fatty it is, but the one here was surprisingly good. While there were a few pieces with a thick section of fat between the skin and the meat, the majority of the pieces had a nice balance. There's a sweet tangy sauce that's included on the side with the duck that I really enjoyed as well. If you're looking for lean duck, you'll probably want to stick with the Chiu Chow marinated duck. Service is pretty minimal here, but our waitress stopped by our table once to refill our waters and to check on how we liked the food. Overall, 4.5 stars rounding up to a 5.

I placed the order over the phone and asked for it without the skin since I'm not a fan of slimy chicken skin unless it's crispy. A few minutes later they called back to ask if I wanted bone in or boneless. I told them bone in was fine, I just didn't want the skin. When I got home and ate it, the food was okay overall. The chicken was cold, not like it had been sitting out, but more like it had just come out of the refrigerator. The peanuts were actually a nice touch and added good flavor and texture. I also liked the ginger sauce they poured over the chicken, but there really wasn't enough of it. I wish they gave extra on the side in a separate container. The side veggies were okay too. It came with cucumbers, quail eggs, and fungus. I ate everything except the fungus. It had a very unique flavor that I just couldn't get into. Overall it wasn't bad, but I've definitely had better Hainan chicken elsewhere, so I'm not sure if I'd come back again.

Feels like Taiwanese fried chicken from your local boba shop. Xiao long bao was the star of the order, solid soup dumplings with great filling and broth. Pan fried pork buns, second favorite dish. When I brought it up and even pointed out the worker, the staff claimed they had no idea what I was talking about. At that point, I just let it go but honestly, it didn't get any better from there. Every dish we ordered was bland, lacked flavor, and wasn't consistent at all. To make matters worse, I noticed something concerning near the cashier. They were refilling the water jug using what looked like a used plastic container that didn't appear clean or sanitary, which was really off-putting. Overall, this experience was disappointing from start to finish, both in terms of service and food quality.
