Went here to watch the World Cup and grab some lunch! Ordered the following: - Beet Salad - Bread Bowl Clam Chowder - Lobster Roll (Cold) - Limoncello Cocktails Overall experience and food was average, definitely better spots in the city!

Loves joes great service food is really great. I had a reservation for two then changed it to four then two other freinds called me a half hour from reservation time and they accommodated me to a party of six. They are so accommodating. Drinks food service is five star. It's a must go to restaurant. Then after take a walk to the water see the boats etc a stone through from the restaurant. We will be back.

Lunch. Last day in Boston before heading to Logan. This place is the epitome of casual dining. It's Applebees/Olive Garden with seafood. Even came with a slightly sticky table. Service was pretty good. Drinks are mediocre and overpriced. Food - Not the "best" fish & chips but pretty good. Not the "best" lobster roll but good. Not the "best" clam chowder but good enough. The fish tacos were surprisingly the best menu item we tried.

Best part is service! Our server was super friendly, attentive, and kind. Got the fish tacos! They had a good amount of sauce and were decently filling. Interior is dark warm and classy

You can make reservations for seating inside but outside is first come first serve. Our server was great! The food was pretty good. We got the chili cheese fries. The fries themselves were great but could've used more cheese. The steak bowl surprised me and would totally get it again. I think there's so many better places to get a lobster roll in the area so would hold off on getting it here.

The waitstaff were phenomenal and a completely delight. The food was even better than I had imagined and the bread that is served as "while you wait" is delicious! Went for brunch during the summer and it was a beautiful site to see both in and out of the restaurant. If you plan on sitting outside during the summer arrive early or make a reservation. There is a very long wait if you do not.

We had a great time with family celebrating, delicious food, spectacular views! The Crab dip was my favorite. Several ordered the salmon and enjoyed it. The captain's platter was a hit as was the clam chowder. We also ordered a Reuben sandwich and Shrimp Scampi & Linguine. It was slammed the afternoon we visited, ran out of bread, but we had good service and enjoyed the time together.

First I ordered the crab cocktail. It was very good, but seemed a little skimpy for the price ($22, I think). Next up were the Parmesan truffle fries. I loved that I could smell the truffle right away. I hate it when I order truffle fries and can't detect the truffle. These were great on truffle, but weak on Parmesan and also just barely still warm when they were brought out. But still, I thought this would be a 5-star review until the service dropped way off. For almost a half hour my drink was empty and I was wanting to order one more. The server checked in twice in that time on a table near me, but didn't even glance in my direction. I would still come back again for sure. The food was good, and the outdoor patio was nice. But there was some definite room for improvement.

If you're coming to Joe's, it's gotta be for the views! It's located in an awesome spot, right on the edge of the North End, just along the water. There's nothing better on a nice day. They do have plenty of indoor seating as well. I found the service to be fairly standard. My friends and I enjoyed our meals. The food was solid for American cuisine, but nothing out of this world. It's one of those standard spots that has something for everyone. I enjoyed my Baby Back Ribs and was quite full when I left. No complaints from me!

    Beet and goat cheese salad

I decided to stop at Joe's and grab a quick bite. Their menu features a heavy selection of sandwiches/burgers, and appetizers. I was debating between the raw seafood items and prepared foods; I ended up choosing the beet and goat cheese salad, and crab cake. The food arrived quickly and as ordered (I asked for no cilantro in the crab cake). The crab cake looked a bit unfortunate, but tasted alright. The beet salad however, was a mess. The greens were drenched in dressing, and the goat cheese tasted like (and had the consistency of) mayonnaise. Despite the food, the service was awesome. My server was super friendly and worked at an efficient pace.

Extremely disappointed. In Boston for a few days, I will be trying better places, however - happened to order as reviews were decent on UBEReats. REGRETFUL. If you can help it, skip this place. I ordered three things: Chicken piccata, soup, and the cookie. All three were super gross. They arrived without as much as salt and pepper, crackers, or bread. Advertised on their menu as a bread bowl soup, but arrives in a container. Soup was cold, mediocre, and lacking clams. It was too sweet (with no salt to be found; inedible). The cookie arrived a liquid mesh (I'm not from here but this didn't seem normal). We've thrown away everything, and tried eating the chicken. Sub par chicken breast that seemed like fast bar food. Three items cost me $75.00 on uber. IMO this place was not worth it. Lesson learned.

Solid, if not spectacular food, great service and a nice location. The chowder in a bread bowl is a classic and delicious!

Most importantly, the server was very attentive and the food was served really quick, especially given the size of our group.

We were seated immediately, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and Sarah, our waitress, was top-notch--friendly, helpful, and genuinely delightful. We started with the Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts, which were so yummy. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Dynamite Roll and absolutely loved the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. I had the Vegetarian Power Bowl, and it was one of those meals you remember long after the trip is over. Since Moxies was just a few steps from our hotel, we thought it would be the perfect place for lunch before heading back to Arizona. We were offered a table inside or on the second-floor patio, and we chose the patio. Maybe that was our mistake. From the moment we sat down, it felt like a completely different restaurant. The atmosphere was very casual, but unfortunately so was the service. Our waitress was forgetful, clueless, and at times borderline disrespectful. Our food arrived completely cold after apparently sitting for over 30 minutes, yet there was no acknowledgment of the delay--not even a simple apology. I honestly couldn't believe this was the same place we had raved about the night before. If I were reviewing only our dinner, this would be an easy 5 stars. But I can't ignore what happened the next day. Maybe we were just unlucky. Maybe the patio has a different rhythm than the dining room. I really don't know. I just wish our last memory before heading back to Arizona had been as wonderful as our first.

It was a Sunday night and we didn't feel like going far for a meal. That's when we put the voucher to use as the Capiz is in the lobby of the hotel. We went for an early dinner. Walking into the restaurant, no one was there to greet us and there was no host stand. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.

I would not recommend this for the $$$, spend it somewhere else in Seaport! We arrived within the 15 minute grace window for our 9:15pm reservation. We were greeted promptly and kindly by the hosting staff! Our party was sat considerably quickly for a Friday night reservation, as the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Our server greeted us and offered to take our drink orders. The drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive, alcoholic and nonalcoholic alike. The Sangria is poor quality.... So I would advise to stay away. Our drink and food order was put in at the same time, however our food took an hour and half to come. Not only did it take that long to come, every single dish arrived lukewarm and purely cold. After asking the server to take it back, it took an additional 25 minutes to return to the table. Unfortunately, all of my friends were pretty much done and watching me eat my food only. The ambiance is pretty aesthetically pleasing, nice interior and great vibe. That's what is unfortunately bumping this up from a one star review. Our server was tolerable. She didn't seem too interested and was just rude when simply discussing our experience. Taking pictures with the skyline outside was the highlight of our visit! We will most definitely not be returning to this establishment. Our experience was really disappointing, and my friends are visiting out of state from California, and they are getting on a plane with almost food poisoning. Very disappointed...
