Car broke down in Groton area and knew my alternator was on its way out. It was a Sunday. Dana responded that for parts and service it would cost $600. I knew it was an extreme price but i was stranded and needed my car (Nissan Maxima) fixed. He showed up on time and got to work. Towards the end end of the repair Dana said that my battery fuse was dead and pried it out. Said he'd look for a replacement but if not I could start my car by jamming a screw driver in between the terminals to start it.. Needless to say he left my car with less radiator fluid, missing bolts, and a missing fuse, which left me stranded on the highway with more problems then i started with. Trying to drive home, all of my dash warning lights turned on (except my battery ironically enough) and my entertainment system cut out. My car suddenly lost all throttle with it no longer revving rpms or accelerating no matter how far I pushed the throttle, and i was forced to pull over the highway with my car more damaged than how I started. I called JR at 9 am agreed to meet me at 11 am, he showed up promptly, and to my amazement, in exactly one hour He had fixed my daughters car ( the starter) so if you need repair work and fast I would absolutely suggest him, very reliable. read more

My vehicle was worked on by this company the man that worked on my vehicle said he had 13 years experience as a mechanic.he took my dashboard apart to replace a heater core when he put it back together the whole dashboard was lose and shacked.the heat did not work properly the radio did not work there was at least 75%of the dashboard screws missing the radio antenna wire was jammed behind the dashboard the headlight switch was not connected I would never have this company work on any of my vehicles ever. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! NO LICENSE OR INSURANCE FOR THIS GUY!! He showed up in Stamford Business Parking lot one saturday and diagnosed the problem on scanner device as bad misfires coils 3 and 5. He bought the parts and said incl labor was going to be $160 CASH. He then tried to fix the car and after my son asked which ones were 3 and 5 - the guy said my son "would have to look it up on computer when he got home." so white knuckled and all on highway got car home drove to another mechanic who said the guy changed number 2 coil and spark - that's it! The same problem still existed. either the guy had no clue what to do or he didn't do the regular repair because come to find out coild 5 was badly damaged and probably by him trying to get it out. why he didn't fix number 3 as well is beyond me. he has been reported to the CT State Licensing as he doesn't return phone calls or texts either. read more

Very pleased with this service. Called late on a Saturday and an appointment was made to come to my home the next day . He was right on time , it had begun to rain and he didn't reschedule he worked in the rain . I was given wrong parts at Auto Zone he took my receipt and went and exchanged the parts. I got brake pad and rotors all the way around , wheel bearings and he gave me a free oil change. His customer service is unmatched. I will definitely continue to use him in the future and refer him to my friends and family. The convenience of being able to sit in the comfort of your home while getting everything you need done to your car is priceless! read more

STAY AWAY FORM THIS GUY, HE WILL COME GIVE YOU A DIAGNOSTIC AND CHARGE YOU A CHEAP PRICE (CHEAPER THAN A REAL MECHANIC OR SHOP) TO HOOK YOU. THEN DO A HORRIBLE JOB, INCOMPLETE OR OTHER WISE LEAVING YOU IN WORST CONDITION THAN YOU WERE IN! I got taken for a ride when he gave me a too good to be true price for replacing a rack and pinion on my car. He did the install/replacement but left the power steering hose disconnected and I have no power steering, emptying about 2-4 bottles a day in the reservoir just to drive to take my kids to school. On top of that he gives me false hopes that he is gonna come and take care of it and never shows up. I took days off from work to wait for him and he has not show up on 2 occasions. Also, he installed my steering wheel up side down (see pic) so when I drive I'm going completely straight and my steering wheel is upside down. To recap, no power steering, upside down steering wheel, no call, no show, no text from JR. He stole my money and doesn't answer any calls or texts. DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR MONEY, HE WILL SCREW YOU OVER and LEAVE YOU HIGH and DRY, BROKE and CAR-LESS!! LOWLIFE, THIEF, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNLICENSED, AND UNQUALIFIED. Let get this guy off the streets.
