Jurassic Magic is amazing. The interior is filled with wonderful art deco which I think are personally painted or drawn. The baristas are always the sweetest and also dress really well. They have a beautiful back patio where they also sell local goods that I always get tempted to buy. The coffee is amazing as well and they have very unique lattes and drinks that use different spices or ingredients. Personally for me, I don't like having too spice-y, so I always opt for either the Bright Eyes or a regular latte, but I know alot of people would enjoy the Magic Latte as well. I haven't tried any of their pastries yet since I go after lunch, but I've heard great things. All in all, I love the space, the people, and the coffee! read more

I really didn't know what to expect when coming here, and I was so pleasantly surprised at the detail and charm of this place. They describe themselves as a culture club coffee house, and that really hits the nail on the head. Parking was a breeze - the entire street is pretty much open for parking, which is a huge W for my parking anxiety friends. The coffee is delicious, I got an iced Magic Latte, which is a blend of sweet condensed oat milk with "Jurassic Spice" aka clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger. Seriously it's nostalgic and comforting and a great pick-me-up. There are pastries available at the front, but don't expect a full breakfast or brunch menu just yet - although they mentioned that a food menu may be in the works, which is super exciting. There is no shortage of things to look at while you wait for your coffee to be made. Tons of artwork, books, and well... more artwork! My fave was definitely the foot sculpture, I'd love to meet whoever made that, like, I need to know why... ANYWAY, this mirrored hallway totally caught me off guard, it's beautiful and kind of wakes you up a bit which is nice. The outdoor patio in the back really steals the show. You can tell this place is designed with so much thought and care, and you can feel it in every corner. I went around 10am and there weren't a ton of people. It did start to fill up as it got later, but since it's semi-outdoors, it didn't feel loud of overstimulating at all. Got the orange cold brew drink and was beyond underwhelmed. It tasted like watered down coffee with an orange peel inside.. so basically like fruit water with coffee water in it, not my favorite experience. The shop was super cute! Lots of different photo ops and has a patio/outdoor area in the back. This is not an ideal place to study, it's more like a place to bring your friends or do take out. The tables are very small and limited, and there are no outlets. But there is street parking right in front of the shop so that's a big win in my book. read more

Jurassic Magic is the cutest little coffee spot right off Washington. If you're lucky and find neighborhood street parking, the cafe itself is super cute and trendy, with options to sit inside, at the tables in the front, or in the cozy backyard. The employees are all really friendly, quick with service, and helpful with questions or adjustments. I really like the variety of pastries, from more unique options (including a spam kimchi one I've never seen anywhere else) to classics (croissants, ham and cheese, cinnamon rolls). This coffee shop is a whole vibe and will definitely be back soon! They make their own syrups and we tried the iced lavender oat milk latte and iced oat milk mocha. The lavender latte was perfectly sweet but not overpowering. The mocha was absolutely delicious and very chocolate forward. Parking is easy and free off Washington. read more

Oh man, this place has a great Niçoise salad. Just a gem of a cafe. I found everything here to be delicious.

The inside of this location is nice but the wait is too long. There is a great garden section at the back along with their really nice merchandised shirts. I wish I would recommend a lot to first timers, but personally the staff were giving snarky looks to me explicitly. For all I know it may be just the employee but personally I'll let it slide since I believe that it's only for that day. I got the dirty chai but I wouldn't really recommend it since it's not that milky (more like watery) and the cinnamon was overpowering the drink. read more

One of my favorite cafes! The drinks are always delicious and the pastries they have are also very good. I would recommend any of the coffee drinks or the teas! I decided to check out Jurassic Magic coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how cute this coffee shop is. There is an adorable reading area right where the register is and I decided to take a few minutes to myself and read my own book -- though they do have some books for you to look through and purchase if you'd like! In the entry way, there was a collection of beautiful ceramics and other goodies all made by different artists from Brazil (as the barista mentioned to me) that are also available to purchase! I ordered the Magic Latte and a matcha donut which was the perfect pairing for me to get my morning started. Both were delicious but I definitely want to try the spam masubi pastry I overheard the barista talking about to another customer lol! The coffee shop is located on the corner of a residential area and though parking is a bit tight, don't feel discouraged because even if you were to park at the end of the block (which I did), it's still a nice little stroll in the neighborhood heading towards the shop. I'll be visiting again hopefully soon to try more pastries and yummy coffee! read more

I've been to Jurassic Magic 3 or 4 times now and it's my new favorite coffee shop in the area! I wish I lived walking distance because parking can be a teensy bit of a hassle sometimes but usually it's not too difficult. I looove the special drinks here - I've tried the Goldblum, Bright Eyes, and Magic Latte and they're all so unique and refreshing! The Goldblum does really give coffee cocktail vibes and the Bright Eyes and Magic Latte just add a bit of sparkle to your regular morning coffee. I ordered an iced rose tea and it was so yummy. Very herbal and they gave me a little more to top it off. The service was okay. I was given a good amount of my drink and the server even let me drink a little more to serve me the remaining amount. The drinks were also relatively affordable compared to most cafes which I think is a plus. My only cons would be that there isn't a place to actually see the password for wifi if you are looking to come work here. I asked for the password twice and each time I was given a different password so I kept getting it wrong. There are nice little tables outside and the ambiance of the place is a bit retro with a rainbow of colors. There are not a lot of larger tables for bigger parties so the place works better for individual remote workers or for just a coffee chat.
