Parking is usually not an issue and they have a L shaped lot that fits a good amount of cars. Once you walk in, they will have you pay up front for your party. The receipt may ask for tip, but in my opinion I think cash should be left for the servers at your table when you're done. The place itself isn't the most shiny, but they still upkeep my making sure the tables are cleaned off, the napkins are stocked, and the utensils needed are available. To the people leaving shitty reviews about the workers, this is a buffet, the role that they have is to show you to your table, serve you your drinks, and take your dirty plates as you continue to enjoy your meal. Sometimes there is a language barrier so please have some grace and some patience and respect for the workers. They keep the food well stocked, freshly made and warm in the main entree section. We meet here whenever we come up to LA to have lunch with my relatives. We are a large group so in order to "please" everyone's different tastes, this place works best. There is a huge variety to choose from so everyone gets to have what they prefer, and for those with lots of dietary restrictions it is especially good since they can choose the things their diet allows. The food is good, not great, but the flexibility and choice, and the consistency is what keeps bringing us back. By the sushi section a women in all black, preparing the sushi blowing her nose WHILE wearing gloves and the worst thing is I saw her touch the sushi she was preparing with the SAME gloves. They were very rude to my family and I. We did not like the food and it wasn't fresh and tasted bitter. My niece was getting some rice when we saw her get slapped in the arm by a worker and didn't let her get the rice. Mind you, this is a buffet where you can serve yourself multiple times. The vibes were of because they kept taking our food while we were still eating it. Also, they were talking about us and not making us feel welcomed. They have a variety of different Asian foods, a Mongolian bbq for the diy noodles and assortment of desserts. It was super busy when we went so the service wasn't as good. This was an average buffet place! Plenty of food selection and reasonable prices. You pay first at the counter then you are seated at your table. The food selection is ample and delicious; nothing life-changing, but consistently good. Waiters will constantly walk around, clear your plates from the table, and fill your drinks. There is also a hibachi station where you can build your own bowl and have it cooked. There's a selection of sushi available as well. It's just the worst when you pick up the condiments on the table and they're sticky (soy sauce) & napkin box. The food's appearance looked like it had been sitting for some time, not to appetizing. I tried the oyster mushrooms it was very tough slightly warm, fried whole shrimp ( looked like salt and pepper shrimp with out the pepper) it was cold, stuffed baked mussels those were good and hot, couple of pieces of orange chicken slightly warm, breaded fried shrimp cold, I was not to happy with the temperature and appearance of the food. Second I figured I'd give the Mongolian station a try the beef was already turning colors from the air and probably from sitting out to be quite honest I was a little iffy on giving it a try. Came here Friday 6/9 for lunch around 12pm. Talk about lunch rush! Place was packed! There was sashimi during lunch but only some poor quality extra veiny tuna or talapia. No salmon sashimi or sushi. There were plenty of rolls still and best of all, the unagi sushi was available! I would say lunch today offered a lot more variety in dishes overall but just not the ones I wanted. I wanted salmon. Chocolate Fondue fountain is back!!! I enjoyed it until I noticed some kids creating a large fondue stick stacking Marshmello and strawberry but using their mouths to press it down firm before dipping them into the chocolate. I come here pretty regularly with my family, BUT it's always on the weekend around lunch time. That being said, it's dinner all day, the place is always busy, and the food turn around/restocking is quick. The big draw to this place is the crab legs. That's really the only reason to go. I don't know any other Asian buffet that has them anymore. The others do have crab, but it's a different kind and often deep fried. Anyhow, my wife and kids love all things crab, so when we have a chance, this place is always a great place for them to load up on crab legs. The availability of crab legs is also awesome. They're stacked up high on ice rather than on a tiny tray where one dude takes everything. I imagine a lot of the lower star reviews are coming from folks that aren't dining at busy times. That's buffet rule #1. You have to go when it's busy, or you risk food that's been out too long, food that should be cold being too warm, and food that should be warm being cold. Do yourself a favor, come here when it's busy. If the parking lot is empty or it's between normal dining hours, you're rolling the dice. This applies to all buffets. read more
