Nice spot for vegan thai. I love their khao soi noodles and their mango sticky rice dessert is so yum. It's a small space, so reservation recommended during busy hours.

Discovered Kati Vegan Thai during ny recent trip to Seattle. I picked up Khao Soi on day one, it was so good, that I came back 2 days in a row. Tried Tom Kha with Artichoke hearts topped with garlic jackfruit , and pineapple fried rice. All the dishes were delicious. Also had their thai iced tea which was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a nice vibe and service is quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you are a vegan, vegetarian or not, it's definitely must try!

Our most recent visit here was outstanding. I wonder if they've had new kitchen staff because the food tasted a lot better than usual. We got the mushroom devil wings, satay skewers, fried rice with a side of garlic jackfruit and the khao suey. Everything was super fresh and flavorful.

BEST VEGAN THAI PLACE! Had been to Kati Vegan Thai on my recent trip to Seattle. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was super inclusive. They had a high chair for my baby, toys and even the cups and plates were baby-friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was sweet and greeted us with a smile. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was minimal yet beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious. For appetizers, we ordered Kati Satay and Devil Wings. For the main course, we ordered curry fried rice with jackfruit meat. It was delicious. The jackfruit meat was delicious. This will be on my list if I visit Seattle again.

Yummy all vegan Thai spot! Every dish is perfectly flavorful and has a nice kick! Usually do a pick up order but they have ample seating inside as well. We tried the cauliflower appetizer which was so crispy and delicious, along with the tofu pad see ew and the hot basil fried rice. I preferred the pad see ew over the rice, but that js totally just personal preference more than anything. Would recommend as a very solid option!

Great food and fast service. I am not vegan but I thought the pad thai was good and taste just like the non-vegan counterpart and the seasoning is full of umami despite the lack of fish sauce. The Thai tea was also good, made with coconut milk so definitely taste different than the typical Thai tea but just as good.

Tasty Thai food! Didn't even realize it was vegan. I recommend getting dessert. The warmth of the sticky rice paired with the cool vegan ice cream was heavenly.

The jackfruit bites were popular recommendations from TikTok. I really enjoyed how savory and sweet the sauce was. The texture was delicious. There was no jackfruit flavor or texture but it was very flavorful with nice crunchy texture. The Khao Soi was delicious. The rice noodles were perfect with the curry broth. I could definitely taste the fragrance of the lemongrass. The mango tango was also delicious and a perfect for cocktail. Staff were polite and the food came out quickly. We came 30 minutes before closing and were served quickly with high quality food. Average prices too!

ordered the pad thai & strawberry limeade fiz. both tasted nice, but nothing extra extraordinary considering the price and portion size. my friend got the thai iced tea & pad keemao. also good, but not spectacular. textures of both noodles were nice, flavor was decent, and limey flavor really came through in pad thai dish.

It was a typical chilly cloudy rainy December day in Seattle. I was craving Thai and with a vegan friend. We found Kati on the Happy Cow app and came for a Sunday lunch. We had the jackfruit sticky rice appetizer, potstickers and two noodle dishes. The potstickers weren't my favorite. The jackfruit sticky rice was out of this world, I'd come back to Kati Vegan over and over for this dish. Both noodle dishes were incredible. The ginger tea was also delicious, spicy and gingery. Love this place and will definitely be back!

We got there right when it opened and got seats right away! As vegetarians it's always nice to find places where you can eat more than two items! We had the cauliflower bombs, pad Thai, pad kheemo and tom yum soup. They were all amazing - came quick and hot! We loved it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As the meal progressed, many more people started to come and join so it is a very popular place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It ended up being so tasty that I came here twice within a few days. The first visit, I got veggie tempura appetizer and chirashi rice bowl. A bit on the pricier side, I still wanted to give it a try. The veggie tempura are actually not separate pieces of vegetables in tempura, but kakiage (shredded veggies fried together) - still pretty good though. The chirashi rice bowl was fantastic - beautiful presentation as the fish came on the side, pretty fresh, and I appreciated the small details, like the wasabi stem inside the scallop and the shiso leaf/sprouts that accompanied the dish. The service was fantastic as well, considering I had a table for one during lunch hour. My second visit I was on the go, so I got the Classic sushi burrito, which again was maybe a little pricier than I would like, but it was worth it. Rice, fish/poke, crab mix, cucumber, avocado - it all mixed nicely wrapped within the rice paper outside, and was convenient to eat for takeout. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're around the area and feel like treating yourself to more than a soup/salad/sandwich...

We came here mostly for one thing: I absolutely could not wait for their gluten-free vegan chick'n pot pie. A pie i'd been waiting months to try. A pie unlike any other pie. A pie that I still think about to this day. We walked straight into a Cardi B drag show. And by "walked into" I mean we opened the door and Hot Pink Shade sashayed right in front of us. It was exactly the kind of welcome we love. It was also the first green flag in a sea of green flags at Life On Mars. I could barely sit still as I waited to order my GF/VG pot pie. We got the drinks outta the way (a peach hard cider for me and a fancy-schmancy cocktail for the lady). I was positively GIDDY when Anna came to take our order and I blurted out chick'n pot pie excitedly. I nearly died when she said they didn't have any. Normally it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but I was from out of town and had literally been craving this damn pie for months! And I lied, I didn't nearly die but I DID nearly cry and that's almost as bad. Even the bestie lamented about what a let down this was. Anna. Dear, sweet Anna. We must have looked really hard up because this sweet baby angel offered to ask the cooks if they could whip one up special just for me. Let me tell you why this is a big deal: For one, she didn't need to do that. That's going above and beyond, and she was such a graceful little buttercup when she did it. Second, making a gluten free biscuit is a finicky, precise, detailed process. It sucks, honestly, and I don't blame them for not having them every day. I nearly cried when she came back and told us the cooks said YES. And this time i'm not lying. It was beyond the type of customer service i'm used to. It was.... humane. It was...empathetic. It was...totally first world problems but it meant so much to me! Especially since Anna said it had been a DAY and she was at her wits end. For her to have a rough day and still have the grace and compassion to make my stupid GF/VG chick'n pot pie dreams come true.....well, yeah, it made me a bit teary eyed. The pot pie was delicious, as expected. It was nostalgic and comforting, like a big hug in a bowl. The flavors were rich and deep, the biscuit soft and flaky; it was one of the most delicious things i've tasted on my GF/VEG journey. Between the food, the drinks, the customer service and the drag show......this was five stars all around. No doubt. I don't see the GF chick'n pot pie on their menu anymore. Maybe it's a seasonal thing? I hope it comes back, i'll be checking. And when it pops up again, so will I. Thank you, Anna. Thank you to the cooks on 2/19/26. Thank you to Hot Pink Shade, ISIS and King Leo Mane.

I went here on a Friday dinner, right after the dinner / pre-theater rush, as this place is right next to Paramount Theatre. I got the chicken schnitzel and the Practical Magic cocktail. Practical Magic is quite a pretty cocktail - it has gold stars sprinkled on top. It is a more tart drink with beet and a smokiness from the mezcal. They told us they had happy hour after 9:00 PM with 31% off everything on the menu. Happy hour?! What a surprise! I thought they only had happy hour midday. The fish maw soup is very collagen-rich and comforting to drink. We also ordered the beef sirloin slices, lamb shoulder, and pork belly, all of which were top quality. What I like about Haidilao is the variety of items you can use to make your own sauce. The food was good, the service was fun, and our kids absolutely loved coming here. We went back yesterday and were honestly shocked at how much has changed. 1. Combo A has been gutted. The old Combo A was around $34 per person and included vegetables. Now, to get roughly the same meal, you're looking at closer to $50 per person. This isn't simply a price increase--they removed much of what made the combo a good value. 2. You're now charging for the condiment bar. Want soy sauce? That's an extra charge. For a family of four, getting access to basic condiments adds roughly another $30. Charging extra for soy sauce at a hot pot restaurant feels incredibly nickel-and-dime. 3. The family-friendly experience has disappeared. No toys for the kids at the table. No bibs. Many of the little touches that made Haidilao unique--and justified paying a premium--are gone. 4. Even the claw machines have changed. The kids used to receive one token for every $10 spent, so a $100 meal meant 10 tokens and they could almost always leave with a prize. Now that same spend gets only four tokens. It may seem trivial to adults, but for kids it's one of the highlights of the visit. Instead of leaving excited, they leave disappointed. What puzzles me is that these cuts can't possibly save very much. Bok choy is inexpensive. The toys probably cost about a dollar each in bulk. Yet all of these changes together make the experience feel 25-40% more expensive. Our family of four would now easily spend over $200 for dinner. Sorry, but this isn't a high-end steakhouse. The robot servers are neat, but they're not "$200 dinner" neat. The biggest disappointment isn't even the higher bill--it's that Haidilao is no longer fun for our kids. That was the entire reason we kept coming back. We happily spent around $1,500 a year here because everyone in the family enjoyed it. Now we'll spend that money somewhere else. Maybe the restaurant is packed enough that they don't care. Maybe they've intentionally decided to stop catering to families with young kids. That's certainly a business decision they can make. But if that's the strategy, they've lost our family as customers. It feels like the company is sacrificing long-term loyal customers to save a few dollars per table. That's disappointing, because Haidilao used to be one of our favorite restaurants.
