I went through drive thru about 3 weeks ago and the experience was bad from the beginning. I had to repeat my order 3 times before being able to go up to pay. When at the pay window the gal repeated my order back to me and got it wrong! Figuring that I corrected her made me believe that my order will be correct. But boy was I wrong. I got all the way home and my order was messed up causing me to have to go all the at back. Didn't get an apology at all for them messing up my order. Last night I sent my boyfriend to go get kfc and hoping that the last time was just an off night for them but nope! He got home and found 3 piece chicken in his meal that was suppose to be popcorn chicken!! For some reason they gave us a random piece of corn which is nice if it wasn't soggy and tastes gross. The biscuits were on the almost burnt side and the chicken was too. They gave us extra cookies probably to make up for the awful service but it doesn't make up for it. I want good quality food I am paying for not extra cookies. I hope that some new management gets in there and changes how this kfc is performing or I have a feeling they aren't going to have any customers shortly. read more

Currently waiting in the parking lot for my food. I did kind of order a lot of food, but they should have food ready for sale. I ordered a 12-piece extra crispy chicken meal, two famous bowls and two chicken pot pies. She then tells me oh I just sold the last two pot pies to the car in front of you, making it sound like that's it for the day. So I asked her, so do you just not have any more? She says I have to cook them it will take 24 minutes so you'll have to wait in the parking lot. Now I understand you get busy but shouldn't you plan for having to sell pot pies and have them cooking when you're down to maybe 3? I just don't understand. The employees at this location treat their store like a playground. One girl in the back giggling and playing around. One employee in the diningroom on lunch and having a conversation with another guy in the back! None of them seemed interested to take my order and it took them about 5 minutes to take my order with me being the only one in the store. If I could give a review of -500, I would. Let me explain my multiple bad experiences with this place (every experience has been bad). This is all over the course of about a year since I moved to Citrus Heights. -Ordered, got to window stated they did not have original recipe cooked (it's FU***** 1pm in the afternoon!). It was a 3 piece meal, I got 2 shitt* pieces of grilled garbage. - At order, stated they had no breast in original therefore I ordered in extra crispy. I waited at the window for 20 minutes and they asked me to pull into the parking lot until my order was done. I pulled in to the far dark end of the parking lot to wait for my order (another 10 minutes). When the worker came out to deliver my food, she was confused. I flashed my brake lights, she seemed frightened to be going over to my car (small win for me!). -Multiple times (6-10 approx) they didn't have something and had to offer me something else which they screwed up. -Literally today, after months of not ordering from this place, myself and my roomate go to order some food. We order only sides (we ordered chicken from a rival company because they have better chicken but KFC has better sides). At the order menu, we order 1 large sweet corn (THEIR SWEET CORN IS NOT COBBED), 2 large orders of mashed potatoes with gravy and one large mac n cheese. My roomate stated check the order, but the bag was full and I didn't want to dig everything out to check it. We get home, the SWEET CORN we ordered was in 4 corncobs, and we had 1 mashed potatoes with 2 sides of gravy. This place is just bad all around. Bad management, bad employees. Health department needs to check this place out. The outside had trash all over the patio. The floors were messy, tables not wiped off and the bathrooms really needed attention. I go to this particular KFC location because the one close to my home (Sunrise Blvd, Roseville) almost always gets something wrong, or there's a long wait. This store on Auburn Blvd has always had it together, until this last Wednesday night. In the drive-thru line, I asked about Kentucky Fried Wings, and was told they are 'hot' (spicy). Since my wife cannot eat spicy foods, but likes wings, I ordered six wings, a-la-carte, original recipe. Was told I'd have to wait 12 minutes, and I agreed to do this. After paying at the window, parked and went inside to wait for my order. While waiting I looked at the receipt, which said Kentucky Fried Wings. I brought this to the counter person's attention, the drive-thru person came over to the counter, told me that this is what I ordered and I should 'clean out my ears'. I *know* what I ordered, and it was not the spicy wings. He continued in a rather belligerent manner, then went back to his position. Another employee gave me my order a few minutes after that, and told me she had substituted original wings for spicy, and I thanked her. I went inside to place my order as well as my sister's. I made two separate transactions because we each had a coupon we wanted to use. The cashier was accommodating and polite. The wait was short for my orders and they made sure to show me that everything was there. My only complaint is that the few times I have been here they always seem to be out of something (ie a certain part/type of chicken). This can be frustrating sometimes. Plenty of parking. read more

Their quality has always been sub-par but this time it was inedible. We asked for KFC original and this wasn't even close. I have not had any problems at this location. In fact even though this location does A&W and KFC. It seems to me, also, that the customer service here is better than at the other KFC-only stores and the chicken is cooked correctly instead of having dry chicken and pumice-like breading. This morning we arrived and found the doors locked and the drive-thru closed. The sign in the window said it was open at 10:30am. Employee's were inside working as we stood at the doors for 15 minutes waiting for the place to open. Not once did an employee bother to come tell us that this KFC had changed their hours. Numerous cars drove through the drive-thru, parked out front, then finally drove away. They lost approximately 12 customers, not including us. This is not how you run a business, especially if you want customers returning. An employee rode up on his bike, pulled out his keys and went inside as we tried commenting to him about their hours, he ignored us(must be management). 9 times out of 10 visits, I'm told to park in front to wait for something. Invariably, it's twice as long as they say it will be. Rarely, do I get exactly what I ordered (even after the wait). Today, the second time I've ordered the Honey BBQ Chicken sandwich, and they've made it with cut up boneless wings swimming in BBQ sauce instead of the shredded chicken. I asked for a chicken breast and coleslaw, and received a chicken breast with mashed potatoes and gravy, a biscuit and a cookie. The incompetent girl at the drive through window between 8:20pm and 8:40pm (I can't remember because we were there forever) on 11/21 was not paying attention to us at all. We would give an order and there would be 30seconds of silence and then she would repeat the wrong order. This happened multiple times. It was not busy, she never apologized, she just continued to show us that we were not a valued customer of your establishment. I recently went here for my 2nd time and my review is now confirmed. Last time I was there, I don't remember the quality of food but I just remember not ordering a very complicated meal through the drive thru and they asked me to wait in the parking lot. I kid you not, I was there a minimum of 15-20 minutes. This last time was more comedic more than anything. When I drove up the person told me to order whenever I was ready, so I did. 10 second in I can hear the person grunting as if I did something to bother them. I just said, 'excuse me', and they said, 'oh not you the person ahead of you is being' (then paused to catch themselves). I repeated my order;12pc family meal, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, corn on the Cobb, biscuits, and a cake. They told me they only had original recipe (bummer), so I told them it was ok and I only wanted drumsticks and thigh. They told me they only had a few drumsticks and no thigh (bummer X 2). When I get to the window I hand them my card and a coupon. Right away they say, 'Oh my Gosh', and the window closed. I felt like a huge inconvenience for this place. When I got home the nightmare continued they placed the biscuits on top of the chicken. Lucky me got to throw away all the biscuits because they now were absorbed with oil. The chicken was horrible. The skin was falling off and the Ines that had skin left was soggy. Not only did I only get a few drumsticks but I only got 11 pieces TOTAL. The corn was WAYYY over cooked. It was so mushy and some of the kernels were blackened. Would have loved to put some butter on it but I was provided 2 small pouches of butter for all the corn and the oiled biscuits. What a waste of almost $40. This place needs to be checked and I rarely give 1 star ratings. read more

The drive thru is horrible. I just returned from another bad experience in this restaurants drive thru. I came through after leaving work and asked for grilled chicken. After I got to the window and paid, the clerk asked me to pull around and they would bring my order to me. I waited for more than 30 minutes in the parking lot for my order to be brought to me. I should have asked how long but assumed it would be just a few minutes not 1/2 hour. On another occasion in the drive thru, I asked for grilled chicken and was told it was available. I also ordered 2 drinks but only received one. Upon paying I was not given a receipt (so I don't know if the order taker took the order properly. After arriving home, I discovered that I had received crispy chicken (not grilled as I had ordered). I also discovered that I did not have the plastic utensils, napkins, or butter/ honey for the biscuits. It seems that if you go thru this Kentucky Fried Chicken drive thru, that you must do a thorough inspection before you leave. I always hate to hold up the other cars behind me but at this location, you never know if you will receive your complete order or even the specifc items you requested. read more
