Hot mess experience today. The wait for a takeout order was well over 30 minutes and they gave us an incomplete order. It was partially my fault that I didn't see a missing burrito until I got home. I tried calling multiple times with no answer and a full voicemail. They also are not doing a great job enforcing masks for all customers. Overall pretty awful customer service. Will not be back, at least not to this location. read more

So let me start by saying I love King Taco, the food is great. I am so happy to have a location by my job. However, the service could be A LOT better. I am vegan and so I come here because the rice and beans are vegan and I love Mexican food so it's perfect. But every time I come here I feel like I receive attitude from the cashiers. I feel pretty judged for asking for no meat or cheese on my sopes. I receive odd looks like I'm crazy or something. And I fully understand that I will be charged the same amount even if there's no meat, but I do not appreciate the rudeness I receive when being told that I'm still going to be charged the same. I got food poisoning. I had their carnitas and carne asada tacos at 10:30 pm on Friday, March 8th, 2019. At 4 am the following day, I woke up and started vomiting until 6am. Not very authentic, hot sauce is out of a can, and the tacos are smaller then most taco places, not worth, Also charge 2.00 for a small plastic container less then 1/4 inch thick, any other place gives it for free. So in my words I change there name from king tack to king rip off read more

I will start off buy saying king taco has the absolutely most delicious red salsa I have ever had! I like to get extra to go so when I go home I can put it on everything I eat... I know(shaking my head) It does have some heat though so be careful with it... I always get the tacos with everything on them. The meat has so much flavor and the tortillas are so good! But I really love the sopes!! Sometimes I dream about them. The combination of meat, cheese and the fried masa on the bottom... Simply delicious! I love the taste of King Taco's carne asada. So I order a variety of items with this meat included. Can't go wrong with a burrito or quesadilla. But I am FED up with their sopes. These sopes....I might as well be eating a Frisbee. Absolutely terrible. I've tried other King Taco locations and I can confidently say this location should be awarded Worst Sopes of the Century. But I'm an addict for them, so I always order 2. Always hoping they'll get it right this time. Out of about 30 sopes ordered total since I have decided to try this King Taco at Glendale...only 3 or so have ever been decent. Just decent. As I write this, I just got done eating 2 Frisbees. I could not pierce the edges by pinching my nails. It was concrete hard and terribly flat (immediately you're biting into your own bottom teeth) in the center. I witness something completely appalling when I went in on 4/29-- one of the workers who works in the kitchen was wearing his mask below his nose (covering only his mouth) leaving his nose uncovered while cooking and walking around the restaurant. eh. it didnt live up to the hype. i have had plenty of better tacos at many different taquerias. i will give it another try and report back but my first impression wasnt the best. I got the flautas , carne asada tacos and some nachos. Flautas were just ok, the tacos at least had some flavor but again, nothing to write home about and the nachos, well, you cant mess up cheese sauce. YAY! so glad there's a King Taco in Glendale now! Hehe. I love love love their carne asada tacos! The meat is so juicy and full of flavor and they're really not afraid to pack in the meat and onions into their tacos! It has just the right amount of limey goodness that complements the freaking spicy hot sauce so well! RIGHT. THE HOT SAUCE. That is a whole different story on its own. I LOVE their hot sauce. It's actually pretty spicy unlike a lot of other taco places. And at King Taco they actually give you an appropriate amount of hot sauce that is proportionate to the number of tacos you got so that you're not sadly rationing out your hot sauce. The service here could always be better though...I don't know why it always takes like twenty minutes for us to get our food. Like last night I went at 11:30 PM and there were like two other customers there and I only ordered TWO tacos but it still took twenty minutes to get my food T__T I just don't understand. But besides the wait, the space they have here is HUGE!! There's really never a problem finding a table at this location because it's like they combined two restaurants together for this one space. I believe that this King Taco location just opened pretty recently. I was trying King Taco, in general, for the first time. I ordered Carne Asada, Carnitas, and Al Pastor Tacos with Pineapple Juice. The Al Pastor was the most seasoned, so it was my favorite one. The other two weren't really seasoned as well, so they were almost tasteless. Unfortunately, the pineapple juice was the other highlight of my meal because it was refreshing and not too sweet.
