I like it here. Shrimps are not boiling crab but come close. Their pastas are all delicious (I've tried most of their pastas) . Would definitely recommend the mentaiko. Their chicken wings and beer combo was a hit among my friends. But you can only order it once per table. Beer selections are good. Parking is valet only. I got the chance to meet the owner once. I don't know her very well but i noticed that she is the chef and stays in the kitchen all the time working full time. Let me tell you... her food is excellent. Everything i tried were exceptional. The chicken wings, i think is the best of all I've had in many places. A garlic sauce pasta was also impressive. Stella Draft - f.l.a.t. had to switch to soju right away Kumamoto + Blue Point Oysters - Kumamoto were fresh but some of the blue points were not edible. This is a Korean bar food spot right next to Cafe Concerto. Food was really good and they have a lot of seafood pastas and dishes of which I am a fan. The garlic shrimp noodles were amazing and their chicken wings are possibly better than Kyochon's (which is saying a lot). Also, you can order King Crab and the waitress will crack and prepare the crabmeat so you don't have to deal with the hassle and mess! Definitely will be back :) read more

Honey chicken was so disappointing! It just tasted like fried chicken marinated with honey and sugar syrup! It was just sweet, nothing appealing! It was very slow so waiters came to check up on the table every 5-10minutes, which I understand it's very hard to work in a very slow place. Good place to gather for bar food and drinks. It's a little weird to have good pasta in this environment but I guess it works if you're trying to get some carbs down with your soju. We went as a group of 6 girls on a Sunday night, we were seated right away. We shared the mentaiko pasta, fire chicken, and 2 dozen kumamotos. The fire chicken is seriously spicy.. but addictive, you have to share this. The oysters were fresh and clean, no traces of sand. Mentaiko was a good creamy pasta, would want to come back to try the uni pasta. Wouldn't go back. Oysters were good but garlic noodles had too much pepper on it and not as good as emc. There was nothing healthy on the menu either. Tried to order Brussel sprouts but they were sold out and they only have white rice and not brown rice. Service was great though!! I also liked the chicken wing my friend gave me. Not sure which one it was though. There wasn't a dish that this place was really good at. Oysters and garlic noodles you go to emc for and the seafood you should go to boiling crab for. I love their menu - it has pasta, fried chicken, korean style fire chicken(very spicy), raw oysters, and Luisiana style seafood. So this place is combination of EMC + boiling crab + Korean pub. Their tab beers were decent (happy hour till 8am, 1/2 price beers!). They also serve have soju/wine/sake. :) you won't be disappointed. read more

I really like this place and go here frequently. Kitchen sooda is a great place to go if you wanna gather a group or sit as is. There is outdoor seating along with indoors if you wish. I highly recommend their happy hour deal, which is fried chicken wings and a pitcher of beer. The fried chicken wings taste sweet and spicy. The meal also comes with a side salad and radish. The shrimp here is also surprisingly good too. I ordered their shrimp and I would say it is as good as boiling crab ( whole shabang). It's a tad spicier here but in a good way. We ordered a pound of shrimp and a pound of clam. Both were very under seasoned. I needed sauce or something to put some flavor in it. Felt like I was just eating steamed clams with nothing on it lol. The chicken was okay. Some pieces were dry, some pieces were juicy. It was a hit or miss. All in all, kitchen sooda was "A-OK". I enjoy there fire chicken dish which includes hash brown, ricecakes, melted cheese and of course the chicken, I recommend the regular flavor it is already spicy and the hot flavor is so hot! Tried fried chicken and yang nyum chicken and while the chicken was crispy enough, the yang nyum one tasted so much like gochujang and ketchup. Not what a typical yang nyum chicken would taste like.... The food wasn't bad it was just a-ok. I liked the old chicken menu they had when this restaurant was called something else. read more

We waited for our table for about 30 minutes and that's expected since the place was packed and they were busy. But we didn't expect to wait almost an HOUR to get the food after we ordered!!!
