Decided to try this place after seeing so many of my friends coming here and I'm glad I did! I took one of my friends out for her birthday to try something outside of Ontario Mills. She got the peppermint, my other friend got the creme brulee and I got an espresso. Overall this place is quite quaint and the atmosphere is welcoming so if you're ever in the area take time out of your day to try this place I recommend everything we got. My espresso was nice and strong but not enough to keep me up till the break of dawn. Overall everything wasn't too sweet or bitter plus the latte art was also really cute. They also sell pastries and coffee grounds so you can bring the awesomeness home with you if you're too lazy to come here. The service was welcoming and I will be sure to come back again. read more

Ahh, the 909--an area code most Angelenos do their best to avoid. I've yet to find much to recommend in the Inland Empire, but Coffee Klatch is a shining exception. This location, freshly opened, is their third. The coffee is roasted with care and artistry--as you'd expect from a family business that includes the only two time US Barista Champion, Heather Perry. Unfortunately, I've found the execution by most of the baristas working at Klatch to be inconsistent. The shots range from excellent to mediocre. Before you get the wrong idea--on the Yelp scale of 1 to 5, I'd rate the average Starbucks espresso around a -4 (negative four). I've found the staff at both locations to be extremely friendly and the service has always been top notch. I was a little disappointed they only offer a limited selection of pre-made sandwiches at this location; the Rancho Cucamonga spot has a wide range of options and builds to order. With a purchase under $5 you get a 1 hour WiFi voucher, and 2 hours for purchases over $5. read more

I'm familiar with the Klatch on Foothill, so I was pretty excited when I realized that another Klatch had opened up by my work. The baristas are the sweetest, and they're very accommodating. I craved a rich, strong mocha but didn't want it to be a sugar-fest. They mixed the mocha with Splenda for me, and gave me an extra shot - perfection! The nicest thing is that they remembered me and my picky order the next time I came in. How awesome is that? I love the little coffee house vibe, and I love the great service. Ordered a "Nitro Cold Brew" coffee size small. It was so far off from what a Nitro infused coffee should be. When I got the drink I mentioned to the girl working the register that the drink looked very flat and that the Nitro bubbles were pretty much non existent. I even watched them pour the drink and normally a Nitro Cold Brew has tons of micro bubbles forming at the top of the drink. I don't think the girl that was helping me had any experience with Nitro Coffee and insisted that the drink I got was perfectly fine. I was in a rush and didn't feel like waiting to order another drink and so I left. Only giving 2 stars to this location because they always have fresh roasted coffee beans readily available. Customers be aware... THIS PLACE DOES NOT SERVE PROPER NITRO COLD BREW. Save your money and just go to Starbucks. read more

Klatch baristas will tell you exactly what a traditional or classic cappuccino is. They will only grind your coffee when you order. I love their coffee! Yum! Very good, strong, and flavorful drinks here, whether it's coffee or espresso. My favorite is the iced latte with vanilla bean (note: different from just vanilla). The staff here is very friendly and I like how they chat with the customers. It's quiet and cozy here, which makes it a nice place to study for 2 hours, which is how long the wi-fi lasts (also requires a purchase). There are two bar tables with stools, and two or three small tables against the window. There is also outdoor seating. If you come often, ask about their card, because they don't always advertise it. It'll also help with that pesky $5 minimum to use your card. This place is definitely the best coffee I've had; I'll be sad when I have to move away from the Inland Empire, and Klatch. read more

Tried it for my first time yesterday. Very welcoming staff, I think they know a lot of the newbies are finding alternatives to Starbucks, so they help with talking about their menu. I settled for trying this place after trying to look for a juice bar & smoothie place like mothers market in Orange County, to my knowingly disappointment....the inland empire lets me down again. And no, Juice It Up, Jamba Juice and Robeks don't count. I tried the blended drink Javalicious. One scoop chocolate, one frozen banana, and three shots of expresso. It only comes in one size a $5 large. So it's not good for beginners if they want to start small and not waste it if they don't like it. So compared to Starbucks the blend was very smooth, it didn't even slowly melt into a ice chunk water down mess like most fraps do at Starbucks. Now on taste, the initial flavor that hit me was good, chocolate and banana. Then I got a powerful aftertaste...guess that was the coffee flavor kicking in. But the flavors didn't work off each other well (in my opinion, or maybe I'm not used to fruit and coffee). I don't think I would ever order it again. I am so grateful for businesses staying open during this pandemic, but the lack of urgency and friendless has always been my biggest issue at this location. Customer service is HUGE for me. A simple, "thank you have a nice day" works.... but I'm never thanked here nor do I ever feel welcomed... The employees that make the drinks seem to drag their feet every time I'm there. Like they don't want to be interrupted in their side conversations to make customers their drinks. It's also very frustrating getting my drink after customers that order after me got there's..... especially when all our drinks were made with espresso, a tea I can understand. The only reason I still go to this location is because it's right down the street from me. Aside from the unfriendly staff and lack of urgency, the coffee itself is still really good. I'm glad I stopped here before my flight at LA Ontario Airport, much better than sitting around in an airport (the only coffee shop at LA Ontario, which is Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, closes at noon). They're 3 minutes away from each other on Haven Ave. Klatch is small but they have a variety of seating options to meet your seating needs. It's COOL (holy crap, how do they live here? It's like being trapped under a jar on the sun). Employees are sweet. Their scone is much better than Starbucks or Peets, it's not a dry disc of white flour-it tastes homemade. Their espresso has not been infiltrated by the sheepster delusion that acidic coffee is good (well that didn't last, on my second visit the latte was sheepster-sour). They have Italian sodas, root beer floats, salads, conventional soda, oatmeal, panini, etc. There's a large outdoor area with a sofa, tables, benches, fountain, and the occasional mid-level solar flare. read more

This joint caters to the local businesses and usually has certain days off for company holidays that other coffee shops don't care about so fair warning if you are planning on dropping by. My wife gets coffee from here almost every morning and i have had the pleasure of visiting with her a few times and each time I'm amazed about how personable the staff is, how simple and great the coffee is, and how small the location is. This spot is perfect for you daily drive to work and don't be surprised if everyone there learns your name. After running some errands Saturday morning in the Ontario area, I wanted to get some coffee and saw this local place pop up on my trusty Yelp app. Once I found this location and dropped in, I looked at the menu for some time before deciding on a seasonal drink - The Toblerone. Yes, THAT Toblerone. I generally don't get whole milk due to lactose intolerance issues, so I asked for non-fat milk, but come to find out they actually use almond milk for this drink - to bring home that almond flavor that they need for the drink. Score. Even better I told the guy. At least he ask, because it did not say on the description that it actually used almond milk. Overall, impressed with their coffee. The drink was pretty good.
