My order has always been wrong while picking up from the drive-thru. I get it, I should check before driving off the box is a little difficult to open without breaking so the least they can do is get my donuts right. Having to get off the vehicle to correct my order is a huge hassle. The last straw was New Years Eve. I was actually 30 minutes late from my pick up time and my order was STILL not ready. The guy who came after me even got his donuts first. I wanted the 3 Original Glaze with the chocolate filling and they DID NOT disclose to me that it wasn't available, so they gave me the chocolate with kreme which I hate. They currently don't do drive-thru so there's times where the line is super long. I like this place when I have a sweet tooth fix and honestly never had a problem. But I saw something today that kind of irked me. Worker was in the back glazing the donuts, which is basically picking up the donut and dipping it in the glaze, but she wasn't wearing any gloves. We ended up here around 10:30 pm on a Sunday and it was one of the best decisions we've made together. ^_^ Right when we walked in we noticed the huge assortment of donuts.... I didn't even know they made so many different kinds! We ordered an assorted dozen to share. My favorites: blueberry cake (must get!!), glazed lemon filled, oreo cookies and cream, and salted caramel. The rest were yummy too, but these were the ones that stood out to me! Actually, an extra star due to its close proximity to nearby must-visits - In 'N Out and Kukje Supermarket. The lady who took my money was somewhat nice. She didn't really smile or wish me a nice day, but that's alright. I got my warm doughnut. :) Prices have risen. A simple original glazed doughnut went from 99 cents to $1.09. I went here when the HOT NOW sign was on and even though the donut was REALLY delicious, the price was just not worth it. NOT VERY COVID-19 Prepared. Would have given more stars but decided to only give 1 star for the price (deals that you can get online) and taste of the donuts. Not sure if this place follows corporate or franchise guidelines on how to handle food sanitation / covid-10 response. They do have instructions on spacing and social distancing with the customers. HOWEVER, workers are not required to wear face masks. So yes, this might not be a big deal but as I witnessed while in line, there was a woman worker who coughed around the donuts area! She did not attempt to cover her mouth or cough into her elbow/sleeve - Talk about droplets. IN ADDITION, workers/servers are freely talking around uncovered donuts while they serve you and put your donuts in your box. What is social distancing for if one of them had the virus? I only come here because I have a large supply of free certificates. I am a HUGE doughnut fan but I'm not a fan of these particular pastries. I prefer more dough in my doughnuts and the sugar filled sugar with sugar on top leaves my stomach complaining. Having said that, I have still tasted every doughnut they have had here for this week including key lime, red velvet, cookies and creme, caramel pretzel, and all of the custard and fruit filled and sprinkles. Every time I drop someone off at SFO, i come here cause its the only close Krispy Kreme i know of. Can't really go wrong with a doughnut, especially a hot glazed one. My sisters and I always sit and watch the doughnuts on their small journey, to the point the staff starts to stare at us. We watch simply to see that all the doughnuts make it safely to the glazing station. Its always so sad when the doughnuts get over excited and start to rush each other to get there. It fulfills the occasional craving for sugar, especially after walking out of the In-N-Out in the same lot, but it comes with a multitude of flaws. When it's done right, it's delicious. It's always an assorted dozen, with multiples of original glazed rings and some of their jelly/custard-filled donuts. They've always got the new specialty ones in, including what I most recently saw there, the Fourth of July donut. The prices are fair for what it is: a chain's best goods. Unfortunately, more than once, I've gotten a donut without their signature glaze on the bottom, which makes me wonder why I should pick Krispy Kreme over my local donut shop. After all, what they're known for is the glaze all over the donut, not just the top. And they rarely are warm and fresh. Most of the occasions I've been here, they've been sitting out for a while. There seems to be a little confusion among the staff about whether they have their assorted dozen deal, which is when you get a box of their little donut holes for $2 in addition to your box of regular-sized donuts. Sometimes, my friends and I have been told that the deal is no longer in place; we've also come back within the week just to be told that yup, they still do it. Those little blueberry bites are delicious and a sweet substitute for breakfast, but not worth it if the box isn't $2. The drive-thru is a huge plus, but given that there's rarely a line inside, it's often faster to go in and see all your donut options in one go. read more

I remember the first time I came here as this was the first krispy kremes I had ever walked into back in highschool. I remember how warm and crispy each doughnut tasted after every bite. Always fascinating to watch the doughnuts on the belt go through the process of deep frying and glazing each doughnut. I could not resist coming to try the reese donuts. I actually ordered online, paid online, and only had to go pick it up. I came 5 minutes after my selected pick up time but my 2 boxes of donuts were not packed ahead. Oh well no big deal. The wait was not bad as there were only 1-2 other customers inside at the time. Not sure how I've gone by for 20+ years without ever trying Krispy Kreme. Came for National Donut day of course to claim my free donut and check out the hype! What an experience! I'm not sure if this is what all Krispy Kreme's are like but it's probably what all of them SHOULD be like! Tall clear glass windows let customers see exactly how their donuts are made! As the little round puffs of dough circle their way through a conveyor belt format, you see how they are created, get glazed (best part!), and end up ready for boxing! The line moves fast so we had to snapchat and instastory with a quickness, but it was just such a cool and fun process to witness. You have to get their traditional glaze of course, but I did also opt to try their salted caramel filled donut and the chocolate with custard filling as well. My glazed donut was piping hot and fresh - it melted the chocolate on my other donut! BUT OMG have you ever had such freshness?! It was so good super light and fluffy! I finished it within seconds and felt immediate sadness for not prolonging the delight. The custard filling one was also really good, but I'd skip the salted caramel next time!
