This is for our experience on April 28, 2020. Some people pleasantly surprise me. As I posted on Tuesday, we got donuts. A lot of donuts!!!! To keep it simple, we chose to go with the classic mixed variety, which would include the new strawberry glaze. They were still making this so we had to wait. But it took way longer than expected so without hesitation, the manager (a quick-acting, sweet Filipina lady) handed us 2 strawberry-filled ones for the inconvenience. Then... the machine ended up botching the batch we were waiting on.‍ We couldn't wait any longer so we changed our order. The manager felt so bad that she gave us whatever was left of the strawberry-filled ones = 5 more FREE! This on top of the 4 dozen we got! Her kind gesture was unexpected & this was what we appreciated the most. Especially during tough times! Plus, through all of this commotion she was prioritizing frontline healthcare workers, ensuring they receive their donuts on the house! ‍‍ (Because they obviously deserve it!) Buying my daughter's favorite chocolate custard filled donut as part of a dozen variety was disappointing as well as not having several varieties available this morning. The lot was jammed yesterday morning and last night when I drove by to see if I could pick up their offer for free donuts for healthcare providers but could not even get into the parking lot. I bought two dozen with my groupon coupon but paid $15.99 for the dozen variety. The photo that I posted was supposed to be a chocolate custard filled donut. I ate half way into one end with no custard whatsoever. They need to insert custard at both ends of the donut. They also did not have the NY Cheesecake donut available either or other varieties like blueberry. Each time I have gone back to buy a dozen hoping that their quality has improved continues to be a disappointment. I just can't handle sweets like how I used to. But after hearing about their new Reese's Peabut Butter donut that launched recently, I made a stop at this location to try it out. The last time I walked in here was over 10 years ago, so many things have changed. Their selections have increased significantly. They offer many more drink choices, their coffee no longer sucks (but it's still a donut house coffee) and they also have collers, lemonades and cold drinks. Maybe this is nothig new, but it has been over 10 years for me. It's pretty spacious inside, with plenty of seating for customers. There's even a couch in the corner with a coffee table. That's where we sat and met up with friends. The donuts: A strawberry glazed donut was very sweet. That's because they poured the pink sugary glaze over an already glazed donut. Couldn't finish it. The peanut butter donut wasn't as sweet as the strawberry. It had a chocolate coating on top with chopped nuts and peabut butter pieces. The filling inside was scarce. Only more than half way through did I bite into the filling. I tried it. My curiosity is fulfilled. I won't get it again. They have 2 types of coffee. A stronger roast or their house blend. I was told the house blend it the most popular, so I went with that. Nothing special, just something warm to wash down the fried sweet dough. I didn't try the cold drinks my friends got but they finished it and didn't complain, so it's probably decent. We were able to sit & chat for about 2 hours w/o being disturbed. It was comfortable and a chill place. But will we come back? Eh .... probably not, until they launch a new flavor that gets my curiosity going again. read more

My daughter wanted to have doughnuts tonight. We rarely eat them but my husband wanted some too so they drove to the Daly City location. They went into the store to hand pick 6 donuts to bring home. They got me a sour cream cake doughnut which is usually my go to. $16 for 6 ! I finally ate mine a few minutes ago and it was hard dry and stale. I get that maybe buying them later in the evening, they may not be as fresh, but shouldn't actually taste old and stale with an old frying oil taste. If you're gonna charge me for old doughnuts then it better not be at the full price. It's a reminder why I stopped buying chain store doughnuts. I don't need a refund, or a box of new doughnuts. Just putting it out there that I would not go back to this location or any other Krispy Kreme and don't recommend them for their poor product and selling them to customers. For it being my first time visiting an actual Krispy Kreme location, I was like a kid in a mini donut factory tour. I thought it was neat how we were able to see how the original glazed donuts are made fresh daily on the conveyor belt. I had no idea that they made other versions of donuts until I saw the donut display window. I only ate an original glazed and one of their donut balls (I would stick to the original), but the minis are so cute too! So airy, light and fluffy -- literally melts in your mouth. There was supposedly a creep who kept staring at me inside (I didn't notice, but my family felt uncomfortable), so we left immediately after. There's some seating inside and a couple restrooms that can be used with a code. read more

Haven't been here for about 1 year the last time we went the Donuts tasted like they were always being cooked in OLD OIL. So we stopped going. Went there today 9/21/2022 and although the oil tasted slightly older it was better than a year ago and the fresh Hot Light was on. My husband thought he was getting an Apple Fritter and it was a Cinommon Roll I guess their workers don't know the difference. Came to Krispy Kreme after finding my local donut shop unexpectedly closed on a day I promised donuts at the office. Walking in just after 6am, the smell of sweet hot glazed donuts was really quite appealing. Looking over the choices, I wanted to try the glazed pumpkin spice so I asked for 2 of those in the assorted dozen and left her to pick the rest. I also picked up a dozen original glazed in case my coworkers were picky. The lady behind the counter was quick and efficient and had my 2 dozen ready in minutes. But what knocked this place down to two stars is that the location and parking is absolutely horrible.
