Cool spot right near china town off Canal Street on Mulberry and Little Italy section of the city. Was served quickly and grabbed the last bit of their lemon icee. Not my fav but my son loved it and thoroughly enjoyed it hence the great reviews.

Came here to get cannolis for my family while on a trip. I got myself something, honestly dont remember the name, but its a coffee like desert thats super creamy and my girlfriend got a strawberry shortcake desert that she loved. The woman who helped us was super nice and patient with us as we decided on which cannolis to get for my family and the extra sweets for us to have right away. She packed everything nicely for us. It survived the trip! The place is small and smack down at the entrance of little italy but we went during a weekday in the afternoon and it was chill. They have outside seating and inside seating. Its one of the few places in new york that felt cool inside too. Overall this place was great and if im back in new york again, id come here again!

Such a gem of a place in little Italy. If you're looking for a good Italian pastry, this is your spot. It's small and quaint, but they have almost every Italian cookie and pastry you can think of. The worker behind the counter was really helpful answering my questions on all the different cookie options. Ordered the chocolate cannoli, sprinkle cookies, chocolate and vanilla hazelnut biscotti's and Italian flag cookies. The best was the cannoli, the filling wasn't too sweet but so creamy. The sprinkle and Italian flag cookies were fantastic the next day with my morning coffee. Least favorite were the biscotti's. They were a bit too hard for my liking, but the chocolate hazelnut was a standout flavor.

La Bella Ferrara 108 Mulberry St. New York, NY 10013 Baba Rum Using actual rum, this soaked up sponge cake was loaded with vanilla custard and topped with a maraschino cherry. Each taste was heaven, but do not expect a buzz from this alcoholic treat!

Too expensive but quality desserts! We got a small pistachio cannoli and a chocolate mousse cannoli. Both terrific flavors. Couldn't pick a favorite. Both tasty, but $9? Little much.

Amazing!!! Well worth the visit! Workers are so nice and are so attentive! The desserts are amazing and fresh and their coffee amazing!

Amazing! Love it here! Everything is delicious! Staff is great! I got a cannoli and a latte and it was so good! The owner was so nice and spoke to us about the history of the bakery! It was great!

09/17/18 The stand is during the Feast of San Gennaro. Cannoli cost more outside!

La Bella Ferrara is still my favorite bakery in Little Italy. Today I saw big changes in the inside. They have a fancy coffee section now and an Ice cream counter. They make their own ice cream I was told. I was disappointed when I saw there's no seating outside. I wanted to sit down to eat my cannoli. The manager knows me and said she would get me a chair and did I want to sit inside or outside. I decided outside was beautiful. Plus I was away from the tempting display cases. I asked if she wanted me to let her know when I was done so she could remove the chair and she said yes. She said the seating had to be removed because families would buy a coffee and then sit there with their children for hours! Some people always ruin a good thing. So definitely yes you need to visit and I recommend a traditional large cannoli. It's $6 now but well worth it!!

Friendly and patient staff. We had lots of questions. Yes - the 3 layer cookies are made in house (excellent by the way) and no - they don't have espresso con panna. Chocolate chip gelato was great. An hour earlier my son threw away 3/4 of his Harry Potter butterbeer ice cream but he devoured the gelato!! Our group of 5 bought about 5 or 6 items and all of them were eaten before we made our way off the property. 2 tables with 2 chairs outside available for enjoying your treats.

    St Joseph's Day pastries

Having lived in the neighborhood for four years, this is by far the best pastry shop in little Italy and the only one that I go to. Their pastry is fantastic (I am most partial to the sfogliatella and the pasticiotti) and they treat me like family. They always make seasonal favorites, like St. Joseph's Day pastries (pictured). Thanks for keeping the old ways.

I started frequenting this establishment since 2009. I always compare cannolis to this spot. My fave, chocolate dipped!

Small hole in the wall bakery. The set up is simple (I heard they just remodeled). There is a small seating area inside, and a couple of tables outside. The cannolis are amazing! The texture is perfect; love when you can bite into a cannoli and the shell doesn't break/crumble everywhere. Perfect mix of crispy and soft, and the inside filling was delicious. Perfect hole in the wall for a sweet treat! A little pricey, but what isn't in NYC?

The Mango and Pistachio looked so realistic and mirrored the flavors perfectly. I love the size of their cakes which are perfect to share with a group of 4. I indulged in their Black Sesame Mochi Cake and Blueberry Chiffon Cake which both have the fluffiest sponge cake base, a fluffy vibrant cream, and fresh ingredients and fruit. Give their drinks a try too. I enjoy their matcha here! The Traffic Lights is a strawberry matcha with a mango cream top. And I also tried their Black Sesame Latte but substituted the espresso for matcha and loved this customized pairing. FYI, there is no bathroom!

Finally decided to try this place after walking by it for years. I refused to try this in the past,…read morebecause I didn't like how many items they put on display. It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive.
