If you like food with a neverending club vibe, this place is for you. I dont think their IG was very helpful in advertising, because I was sold, but the expectations were low upon arrival considering the vibes given and the great neighborhood location. Things went downhill the moment we were told "2 minutes," that turned into almost 10 to be seated, sat down, didn't get service for another 10, waited for food for over 30 minutes, and set the cellphone on a timer so if time ran out, we would leave before receiving our food. Why the timer? During this, they turned off the lights and blasted the music on high for a birthday shot they gave to a customer. They kept the music on blast and my fiancee and I had to yell across the table to have a regular conversation. We asked nicely to have them turn it down and it was ignored. Finally got our food. Flavor was bland for an authentic restuarant. Went to use the bathroom and it hadn't been serviced. Came back to grab my fiancees keys to his car to wait there until he could get his leftovers and pay. Unfortunately will not be returning. I understand on the restaurant side to have a different atmosphere for a birthday cheer, and it makes it super uncomfortable to enjoy literally anything because you just wanted to try a new place and now its on the personal ban list. read more

Jasmine was amazing from the moment we sat down. Very attentive and helpful with her suggestions. The vibe here is so energetic and happy. The music is pulsing and everyone is smiling. I have never had a bad dish here. We always get the Bone Marrow Elote is a MUST! Absolutely fantastic. This visit I got the Blue Coast Shrimp and my husband got the Red Snapper. When we pulled up; it was PACKED on Saturday @7:30p; had a reservation and was seated after a 30 minute wait. We were given menus and drink almost immediately and our server was very attentive. The menu is in Spanish so we needed a moment with the menu but we were never far from help. Drink were AMAZING; tasty and STRONG (which is a relief nowadays) the prices were way more affordable than we thought. The atmosphere is club like it's a loud ambiance with periodical bobble head bad bunny appearances for " un VIP shots " (best part of the night!) food was absolutely amazing. The salsa wasn't too hot but it was very flavorful. The spicy salsa was both hot AND flavorful. The vegetables were perfect and weren't over cooked. All the meats we had were immaculately seasoned. The food was really good in my opinion as well as the drinks. I got a fish burger with a side of fries and a paloma to drink. The service was although very long, it took well over an hour to be seated , and once seated it was very noticeable how packed and tight squeezed the restaurant space was. The restaurant however was a good weekend outting setting, it had the typical low lighting with LED hang signs with quotes and flowery decor. Went there yesterday to celebrate my cousin's birthday . The food was great. Great music totally enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of young people. The only thing I have had an issue is that I requested water from 3 different servers. They all said okay and never got my water. I was like wow. Had to wait like 20 minutes for our server to bring it to me. I even asked for them to serve me in 2 different cups so I wouldn't have wait that long again for more water. Came in here looking for Mexican food and why was I surprised how good it was. My mother had huevos rancheros with cactus and she enjoyed every bite of it. They cooked everything very very well I had molleteas. It was a piece of toasted white baguette covered with refried beans melted cheese the best chorizo I've had in California in my 40 years of life.
