This place gets 3 stars for the vibe.....but that's all I really enjoyed. First off we had a reservation it took over 15 mins from the time of our reservation to seat us. Then we ordered drinks to start off and the shots came with a show, we asked for Karol G theh said she wasn't available, so we asked for bad bunny and they forced the mask on us which was really boring not worth it, but we still got charged the same price even tho we didn't want it. The next shots I ordered w/o à show bc what is the point. The food came out and it was ok the shrimp was good in the molcajete, the sauce in it was what had flavor so you had to make sure you dipped it on everything. The rice and beans were a hell no for me. The ceviche didn't have much flavor I've had better ceviche close to home. $120 of alcohol later and we didn't even have a buzz. So I suggest if you order any drink here to make sure it's not mixed just straight liquor bc I doubt the mixed stuff has much alcohol in it. If you order a drink w/o à shoe theh still charge you the same price. Our server hardly chkd on us, definitely customer service needs a lot of work here. Not a place I care to come back to. Came here for a random Thursday happy hour (they don't actually have a happy hour, but it was right after work). Micheladas were delicious, service was great, the crowd got livelier as the night continued. All I had were two appetizers, the empanadas and the chilitos. Both were presented very well - I was pleasantly surprised with the plating. The chilitos were liked stuffed jalapenos with coconut shrimp coating - and it worked. The empanadas had delicious seasoned chicken - I think it was rotisserie - it was tasty. I'll be back to try more things just based on the presentation of those two appetizers. Also - Bad Bunny. This is my 2nd time going here for a girl's night. I'm so thrilled that the menu's description is now in English. Saved us a lot of time translating it through Google . We ordered traditional tacos, poblano chicken enchiladas, grilled octopus w/ potato wedges, guacamole, VIP tostadas, cheese baked Rockefeller oysters, and drinks. Everything was phenomenal! But I have to admit that the music can be a bit loud like it's a club or sport's bar inside. So, if you are not a fan of loud music, I would suggest dining out on the terrace. Tried this place out on a Sunday night, it was very busy. We were estimated a 30 minute wait, but were seated in about five minutes. We were greeted with chips, salsa, and beans, which were delicious. We decided to share their Carne Asada and added shrimp. Everything was delicious and it was the perfect amount for two of us. The food was ready in about 10 minutes. My only complaint is that the menu states that adding shrimp is five dollars. However, we were charged eight dollars. It is a very loud restaurant with loud music and a lot of people celebrating. Definitely perfect for birthdays. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. I saw this place on Instagram and had to try it! Drove from San Francisco and was not disappointed! From the moment you walk in, the vibe and energy were great. Great music and friendly staff. This place has been open for about a month, and this is my take on it: What I like: -No wait time on a Saturday afternoon -Beautiful interior, super clean and modern -Agua frescas were delicious -Fun gimmicky stuff - masked dancers for bdays, hamburger paper lit on fire, etc. -Portion sizes are large and everything is reasonably priced. -Waiters were all super friendly despite the disorganization of operations here. What I wasn't a fan of: -Menus were not explained. 2 of us got the breakfast menu, 2 of us got the lunch menu. Online still shows a Thai menu for this place so you can't look over options in advance. -Menus were entirely in Spanish. Thank goodness for Google. -Coffee was almost cold when served to me. -Waiters brought out the wrong food to our table multiple times. -Food was mediocre for Mexican food in this area -Took few reminders for our boxes and the bill. If you want to have a dinner with blaring loud music like in a club/bar, this will be your vibe. I prefer to have conversations during dinner so this place was not for us. I can understand the music that loud late night but it was only 6pm. My 9 year old niece was covering her ears the entire time, so I guess it's not kid friendly either. The lights kept dimming and then turning on really bright and then back to dim for some reason, that was weird. They brought us 3 dishes at different times that we did not order. Charged us for one of the items too. Had to ask twice for napkins. Food was not that great for the price. I ordered the poblano enchilada with shrimp. Shrimp was small, over cooked and you can tell not good quality. My food was very salty. We also ordered pozole which we barely ate and did not enjoy. read more
