My friend recommended this spot that just opened less than 2 weeks ago for the food and atmosphere. It's located in the heart of the East Side on Story & King. We went at an off time between lunch and dinner. The staff sat us right away and were very friendly. It's a nice modern design with a high ceiling and loud bumping music. My parents, who are elderly, asked if they could turn down the music a little bit. Not only did they say yes, they asked what kind of music they wanted to hear and promptly changed it to a more mellow Musica Romantica. The menu has some different and interesting choices. But just an FYI, the menu is only in Spanish. We ordered and then waited and waited... it took a really long time to get our food! I blame the kitchen because the waiters were very good. We ordered: Camarones Costa Azul - Huge bacon wrapped prawns with a cream sauce and then covered with Oaxaca cheese that comes with a fresh salad. The prawns were so good and big that I could only eat one! It's a little heavy on the Oaxacan cheese, and anybody who knows me has never heard me say something has too much cheese. That being said, I would order this again without hesitation! Hamburguesa Mar y Tierra - This hamburger usually comes with an Angus beef patty, salmon & prawns all piled on top of each. However, it was ordered with just the beef patty. The hamburger & fries were very good and served on top of a round box with the fries in a sliding draw underneath. Tuetano y Taco de Pulpo - Beef Marrow & Octopus Taco. He really enjoyed the flavors of both items. However, he felt there was barely any marrow in the bone. I recently tried La Más Queirda. I came on a Saturday early afternoon and there was a 15 minute wait time. After that we were taken to our seats, the place was aesthetically pleasing and filled with vibrant colors! I ordered a Pinapple express and let me tell you, one of the best drinks I have ever ordered! It came in a Pineapple vase and when they brought it to the table it is super aesthetic. It not only looked good but it tasted good as well. 10/10. Moving along to the plates we ordered, Zarandeado styled fish and the Blue coast shrimp. The fish is drenched in a savory sauce paired with rice and a salad. The Blue coast shrimp is shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese also wrapped. The rice has cheese on top that pairs nicely with the shrimp. Overall the food was great. Our server was attentive and made us feel welcomed. I recommend coming here for the food and also the vibes the restaurant has. They are especially big on birthdays so you will catch me here on my birthday. read more

I came in expecting a normal dining experience, but the wait time for food was completely unreasonable. We waited about an hour and a half, which is just unacceptable--especially with little to no communication from the staff about what was going on. Our server, Monica, barely checked on us. I think she came to our table maybe three times the entire time we were there. We felt completely ignored and had no updates about our food or even basic attention like refills or check-ins. It got to the point where we were so upset and tired of waiting that we had to leave without even eating and just take the food to go. That completely defeats the purpose of going out to a restaurant in the first place. What made it worse is that there was no effort to make things right. After such a long wait and poor service, I would have expected at least some kind of gesture--like comped drinks or even a small discount for the inconvenience--but nothing was offered. After years of seeing it and being hyped on my friend's social media, we finally got to try it. And we weren't disappointed! We ordered the steak with lobster, some oysters, and grilled octopus and everyrhing came out amazing! The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Our server Santiago came to check on our table many times to make sure our orders were right and that we got everything we needed. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and good looking. Tables are set in a way where they can cater to both bigger and smaller parties while still being able to manage your way around easily. It was very clean and orderly. Why 4 stars you might ask? Only because of location. Its in a busier complex and parking was harder to find. To add to it, there was something going on across the street like a flea market or something so everyone was using that lot to park and cross. It was so tight and busy that day that someone even hit our car and didnt even leave a note. Obviously not the restaurant's fault but we just wish it was in a better location. Consider making reservations, it seems this spot is popular! We decided to do a galantines here due to its popularity on social media. Upon arriving I was a little disappointed at their inability to accommodate my friend who is in a wheelchair. The host for some reason thought it was a good idea to give us a booth instead of a table where the chair can easily be moved to be wheelchair accessible. The table was available so I asked to be moved to better accommodate my friend. The host agreed and said they would move us over once they wiped it down. It took me asking two other times in order to finally get moved. Once we were seated at a better suited table I felt the service was very rushed. They do bring the food out very quickly and all together so consider skipping appetizers. The food was just ok. The queso fundido was cold and tough (not creamy and uneasy to eat). The food lacked flavor, though aesthetically pleasing. The only item I would say was good would be the flan. The vibe is definitely there. Music is bumpin' (a little much for those who get over stimulated) with a lounge/club feel. They even have a photographer walking around taking photos. You can buy one for $20 each (comes with a frame). I would say skip the food, go for the drinks and ambiance. read more

I really enjoyed my spontaneous visit here. We decided to drop in on a rainy day and luckily it was pretty empty but did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly and the food was a 10/10. I ordered the fettuccine with chicken and it was probably the best I've ever had. Chicken was well seasoned and really meshed with the cheesiness of the Alfredo. Drinks are strong but still tasty. We loved that they still kept up the energy when bad bunny character came out. It was such a great experience and the fact that there's plenty of parking is great! The ambiance here is nice although it's on the louder side you can still maintain conversation and hear one another. We made reservations for our gf birthdays 2 weeks in advance for 7pm on a Sat night, 19 people. We were seated closer to 8pm so that was way passed our reservation time. The bathroom can use some updating. The service was over good, but sometimes a miss due to the limited English as we are Asians. I took off 2 stars because: 1. We ordered VSOP but we got regular henny lol. I kept telling them this is not VSOP but they said that's all they had. At that point we just wanted to drink so we just took it, but FYI: VSOP was not Privilege, and it is regular henny. 2. I was over charged $64 on my card even though tip was already included. I did get that refund back but it shouldn't have happened in the first place as the receipt clearing states: $2040. But I was charged $2104 assuming it was a genuine mistake... 3. The place was pretty bright but every time Bad bunny came out, they would dim the lights. They should just leave the lights dimmed the whole time cause every time they turn on the lights, we would get thrown off lol! Overall it was a fun place to celebrate with friends! I came on a Tuesday evening and there was plenty of seating available. Parking was also plentiful. The music was good and not too loud, a Mexican soccer game was playing on the TVs and the servers immediately brought out the tortilla chips, salsa and a bean dip. Let's talk food- we got the ribeye/lobster combo with a side of shrimp- everything was delish- the lobster was slightly overcooked but not enough to send it back. Also got the ribeye taco- this is one of the best tacos I've ever had! I believe it was a homemade tortilla- ribeye was soft and flavorful topped with caramelized onions, avocado and sauce- I could eat 10 of them. Also tried the Special Gratin sushi roll- very fresh, great flavor. It's definitely a hearty serving but a bit heavy on the rice for my liking. But it was a fun twist on sushi and I could see the innovation having beef, shrimp and chicken in the roll. Went there for Easter brunch with my family, was able to make a reservation within a week before. Parking is good as it's inside a big shipping center, the environment, music, food and drinks were amazing. Marisol out server went above and beyond with the service she provided us.
