Bomb!! Located inside a liquor store so it's kinda hard to find. I asked which were the most popular and tried the spinach and ricotta, spicy beef, and nortena which was potatoes inside! they're fully stuffed and soo warm and delicious especially with their chimichurri sauce which I wish they gave more of! I got 3 for just under $10.

Argentinian flag blessed this place throughout.

Oh, and they got pizza too??? Stop it. You are kidding me right now. There must have been a lot of Italians that ended up in Argentina because this is some good pizza. Heavy on the oils and cheese. I come from an Italian family. SO

Craving spicy beef empanadas, still delicious . They're always fresh and perfectly toasty. Excellent service too.

Love these hole in the wall places, or hidden gems. My first time here had the Choripan Sandwich, was excellent

The best empanada was the pineapple and cheese. Though that sounds like a weird combo, trust that it was strangely delicious. That is, if you like pineapple and if you like cheese. I wanted to love the other flavors but sadly, I've had my fill of empanadas and this spot, inside of the liquor store, is a bit odd .

Truly authentic Argentinian empanadas. The place is hidden inside a licor store, the place looks extra clean which I like. The lady that gave me my food was probably the owner and she reminded me that is I place my order directly with her, the food is a little cheaper. The empanada were so good, sorry, didn't take a picture because we ate them so fast.

Very delicious !! Authentic Argentinian empanadas and alfajores! The restaurant is just hidden in a liquor store.

Thanks to fellow Yelpers, I found this out of the way place that just happens to be fantastic. Don't be deterred by its back of a liquor store location. Heritage House Liquor which has been around as long as I remember. It's one of the old school Tustin places that make Tustin Tustin - not you, Tustin Ranch. I doubt you will find better empanadas anywhere, and they serve quite a variety of them. They serve also sandwiches and pizza, both of which I intend to try based on my experience with the empanadas. There are a few small tables if you want to eat there, but It's mostly take out. My empanadas traveled well on the 15 minute drive home. For my first time, I chose the beef empanadas served, of course, with house made chimichurri sauce. Three of them at $3.00 each were plenty to fill me up. The service is very friendly. Be sure to tip. It's a good place all the way around.

They offer a standard variety of pizza offerings to choose from including BBQ chicken, Meat Lovers, and Jalapeno + Pepperoni. This store offers a pretty good lunch special where you can get 3 slices and a soft drink for ~$12 which is what I got. They place the pre-made pizza slices back into the oven so that when it comes out, it's fresh, hot, and ready to eat. The food quality was pretty average, definitely nothing special to note compared to the many pizza joints all around OC. I did not find it particularly appealing but the slices were big in size. The place has a lot of seating and the ambiance was definitely very casual. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking to grab a quick bite during lunch where you can take advantage of their lunch deal.

It's often hard for people to agree on whether one is good, bad, or great. I had several guests come over so I ordered large pepperoni pizza with green bell peppers and onions. We all agreed - It was great, lots of toppings and the right amount of cheese and sauce. Crust was perfect texture. It was ready when promised so I quickly drove it home to a hungry group. There are many pizza places much closer to me, but I had to try this one. I am taking a class at Orange Coast College and one to the cooler classmates (Simeon) told us how great their pizzas are at his location in South Irvine. But I went to the one at Jamboree and Irvine Blvd. It was great there, too. It's in a shopping center with lots of parking and a short walk to Ralph's to pick up some beer and sodas. Anyway, everyone enjoyed the pizza and will return when I am in the area again craving for great pizza. Pizza like this went great with some bottled craft beer. It is not a comment on the hostess, the live music, the kitchen, or the rest of the staff. It is entirely a reflection of the service we received from our assigned server. HOSTESS -- POLITENESS AND PROMPTNESS Excellent, and worth naming first. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly on a Saturday evening at 7:00 PM, which is no small thing at that hour. She was professional and gracious from the moment we walked in. The live music was a genuine pleasure and added real atmosphere to the room. Nothing in this review should reflect on her or on the musicians. FOOD Solid. The menu offers a good selection, and the wine list is well constructed. We ordered the carpaccio, the Spaghetti Carbonara, and the Rigatoni Bolognese. All three were good, competently prepared and enjoyable, though none rose to outstanding. If the food were the only consideration, this would be a comfortable three or four stars. SERVICE FROM ALESSANDRO (Saturday 08/08/2026 @ 7 pm PDT) This is where the evening failed. As first-time guests, we received little attention from our assigned server, Alessandro, throughout the meal. What attentiveness we did experience came from Steve, a server working other sections entirely, who noticed us unprompted and expedited what he could from his end. Steve was courteous, observant, and genuinely helpful -- he read the table correctly without being asked, and he deserves recognition for it. When it became clear we were ready to leave, Steve took my credit card and handed it directly to Alessandro. Alessandro appeared to forget he had been given it, and then delivered my credit card to the wrong table. The result was a long and avoidable wait, and I ultimately had to approach him directly to resolve it. I will own my part: I raised my voice, and that was uncalled for. I regret it. What I cannot excuse is the response. Rather than de-escalating, Alessandro became defensive and matched my volume. In a service-oriented establishment, that is the wrong instinct. One of us was a frustrated guest at the end of a long wait; the other was on duty, and the standard is not the same for both. We did talk it through afterward, which I appreciate, but the exchange should never have reached that point. I will also note, in fairness, that Alessandro brought three cookies with the check. It was a thoughtful gesture and we were thankful for it. It did not offset the conduct that preceded it. The unfortunate part is that everyone else we encountered was pleasant and professional. My thanks go to Steve, who was the role model here and the reason the evening did not end worse than it did. But a single server's handling of a first visit is what a first-time guest takes home, and on that basis we will not be returning.

My first Deep Dish Chicago pizza was Zachary's in Berkeley in the Bay Area. This Costa Mesa location is located just south of the 405 at Harbor Blvd. Go to Baker Street and turn left and it's right there. Easy Parking. One thing you gotta know about the deep dish pizzas, they take longer to cook cause they're just so big and need more cooking time, like maybe 35-40 minutes, depending on how busy the kitchen is. We get a classic combo pizza and have some drinks while we wait. It arrives and oh boy does that look good. Dishing it out takes a little practice, but we're good at that now! Everybody loves the flavor and crust. This isn't the cheapest pizza round, but well worth the price and wait. You want cheap go to Straw Hat or something like that.
