Don't miss out on trying La Rosa. I recommend it. Everything ordered came out delicious and fresh. I have to point out their Aguachiles. Wow! They were so fresh, flavorful and yes as they should they had a spicy kick. Trio Enchiladas is a great dish so you can know which salsa is your favorite. The red ones were my husband's favorite. Pasta Al Durango was tasty I would just suggest adding more sauce as I thought it got a little too dry as it cooled down. Down part was that their complimentary sopa de fideo was a little on the salty side. If they can fix that, it would taste just like our mommy's sopa de fideo. It's also a great place to explore their drink menu. They were yummy. Their service was very kind, attentive and they treated you with respect at all time. Will be returning.

Many locals have been waiting to visit this restaurant. Luckily, Fullerton, Brea, and La Habra residents support local businesses. Saw a "soft opening" for this weekend in February 2026. Decided on a Friday Date Night. The inside is beautiful. You can tell the owners put a lot of money into the decorations, tables, chairs, restrooms, and overall decor. It almost feels like a 1980's Miami Vice theme with the purple, green, and blues. Not a bad thing, just different and flashy. Beautiful Spanish music playing on background speakers. Place is very quiet. The drinks were on the sweeter end, but still very good. Could use a little more alcohol with La Rosa & Thalia. I rarely drink and couldn't taste the alcohol, but lots of sugar. There's no chips & salsa, but rather a complimentary Sopa De Fideo. It tasted incredible. Little hints of spice and perfectly warm. We skipped appetizer and went straight to Entrees. Trio Enchiladas were Cheese (red sauce), chicken (green/white sauce), and shrimp (green sauce). Cheese and chicken were great, the shrimp wasn't good. I tried, but it didn't pair right with my palate. The beans tasted homemade and has some spice to it. The rice was ok. Nothing bad, nothing great, just meh. Wife had Arrachera con Papas. Steak was cooked medium and had great flavor with chimichurri sauce. Papas were average. Black beans and rice with just good. The real winner was desert. The lava cake (Pastel de Lava Estilo Abuelita). Presentation was beautiful and lots of fruit on the side. Greta sharing for two. Wish I took a picture. Overall, 7.5/10 restaurant. 2 drinks, 2 entrees, and 1 desert. Out the door price with tip around $150. Pretty pricey for Mexican food. But the food was good. Not sure if it was memorable. But I would visit again since it's close and local. But also to try different items on the menu. They have a kids menu. It's very reasonably priced at $9 each item. But this is more of a date spot and not a kids restaurant.

Our first time here and we loved it! We had the agua chile trio and it was absolutely delicious !! They do a agua chili twist that is a must try! Moved on to the main dish. Enchilada trio and michoacan pasta. Both were delicious. Food and drinks are a 10! Service was also great and ambiance was perfect. We would definitely come back. Anyone in the area needs to come check this place out.

    Aguachiles

This place does not get the recognition it deserves. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, the ambiance is romantic. I'm Mexican, and the aguachiles at this location were 10 out of 10! Spicy and full of flavor! Y'all need to check this place out! You won't regret it.

Tried this last Friday evening. Awesome place, friendly staff, great drinks. Initially we went in just for drinks as I had booked another place in Brea, but after looking at the menu, we decided to eat here. The food was very good and we were extremely happy with meal and service throughout. It was early when we arrived around 4:30, so not busy, but it filled up well by the time we left. We live fairly close by and this will be a regular spot for us.

I have been working in La Habra for the past 21 years. This particular building has never been able to keep a tenant. The restaurant is beautiful. You're definitely going to pull out your phone or camera to take pictures. The service, outstanding. I however, also care about the quality and taste of food, and enjoy a good drink.... Who doesn't??? I've been here for brunch and dinner. The drinks are delicious and the presentation of the drinks is insta worthy... the 2 parties i was with tried several dishes... The food lacks flavor out of maybe 10 different dishes, 6 lacked flavor. On one of my trips, I had the steak and lobster. There was about 5 of us that ordered the same. Not 1 was satisfied with the flavor of the steak. I wasn't exactly sure how you could mess up a steak because anyone that knows how to cook a good steak, knows you only need salt and pepper. I sent more than half my steak back. Sadly, now that we tried brunch and dinner, we won't be returning. For me, if the food is a hit and miss, that just won't work. We wish La Rosa well in the future and hope you make it there in La Habra!

I always drive by this place and it always had me curious as to what was inside. This place was so beautifully decorated. It was giving classy and cute. The service was amazing and the drinks and food were very good. It was the perfect spot for our date night. Definitely coming back!

I came here with a few friends and we were blown away. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was amazing--great music and a really aesthetic, cute interior. But the real star is the food. You can tell the chef has perfected every single dish; it's easily some of the best I've ever had. To top it off, the customer service was incredible. La Rosa is a total 5-star experience. I'll definitely be back soon!

Great new place. Love the service, food and ambiance. My new family dinner night spot.

La Rosa was such a fun experience! The vibe is super cute, the food and drinks were great, and the service really stood out. Big thank you to Lorena at the bar for being so sweet, and to Carlos for taking such great care of us all night. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. Can't wait to come back!

I had the most amazing time at La Rosa The service was honestly some of the best I've experienced. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is so cute and girly -- perfect for a fun night out with friends. The drinks are also super fun and adorable, and they taste just as good as they look. A special shoutout to the bartender Lorena who was so friendly and sweet. And our waiter Carlos was amazing! He was so attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming. Overall such a great vibe, great food, and great service. I will definitely be coming back.

Pasta a la Michoacana and Tampiqueña plate

We have been twice for date night. Both times were greeted and seated right away, everyone was friendly and polite, service has been outstanding, the waiters Lorena and Carlos always made sure we were attended. Ambiance and music were perfect to have a conversation, the place felt very warm and nice. Food was really good, from appetizers to deserts! We loved their Aguachile negro, the meat and enchilada on the tampiqueña plate were delicious! Their flan and Chocolate abuelita lava cake are very tasty! We are definitely going back!

The food is Lebanese and like any Mediterranean food, delicious! We had the chicken kabob entree and everything was really good! The only thing I was not a super fan of was their pita bread and how it came. It comes in a plastic bag inside a little bucket and it's a thin pita and I usually prefer the thicker pita, but that's just my personal preference. The drinks were really good too! We had a great time chit chatting and right before we left we got to enjoy a couple of songs from live performance. It was a perfect date night and their service was exceptional!

It is located in downtown Fullerton, next to the Les Amis Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurant. Look for the entrance on the west side of the building with a red entrance and Chapter 4 projection logo on the sidewalk. You can make a reservation on their website. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Seating options include tall chairs at the bar, low booths along the front wall across from the bar, and various tables in the main lounge area. All of the chairs look very comfortable. We sat in one of the booths across from the bar. It has a great vibe inside with a dark ceiling and walls, and is lit on the dimmer side. There was light lounge/soft jazz music playing when we visited. They also have live jazz music on some nights. A bowl of nuts, water, and menus arrived quickly. They have a great menu of house-curated cocktails, their spins on classic cocktails, and a large list of whiskeys and other spirits. They also have several food items on the menu. They have private liquor lockers available to store personal bottles for members Before I continue, I have to say that JC, one of the owners, who greeted us and was our server all evening, provided outstanding hospitality. While researching their bar menu online, we saw the cloud cocktail which had a very unique presentation with a burning ember cloud-like display. We came for my girlfriend's birthday, and she knew that would be her first drink. Unfortunately when we tried to order it, they were out of the gas for it. We noticed that the physical menu was a little different than the online menu. Apparently they had just changed the menu and had not updated the website yet. She wanted the Dirty Dill which wasn't on the new cocktail menu, but they were still able to make it. Dirty Dill (Gin, Vodka, Lemon, Pickle Juice, Olive Juice, Milk Washed & Clarified, $19). We could smell pickle on the nose, but when we took a sip, it was very boozy with little pickle or olive flavor. We asked if they could add some more pickle juice, and JC brought us a big shot glass of pickle juice so she could adjust it to her liking. She liked it once she added some more pickle juice. I started out with the Cococacaocoladaclara cocktail (Cacao-Infused Rum, Orange Liquor, Pineapple & Lime Juice, Coconut Milk Clarified, $18). This wasn't quite what I was expecting, and I had a hard time picking out the flavors. It was definitely strong and boozy. We were finishing our first round when we spotted JC walking towards our table with a cloud! He managed to find whatever it takes to make the effect, and we were very appreciative. I have seen a lot of presentations, and this was definitely a unique one. The birthday shot was very good, and he said the ingredients were mezcal, lavender, and lemon. Old Fashioneds have been growing on me lately. After the great presentation of the cloud, I had to try the Sinatra Old Fashioned (Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select, one dash of chocolate Bitters, $40). It is served in a rotating crystal glass, lit from underneath, with a clear ice sphere. Again, the presentation was great, and it was the smoothest old fashioned I've ever had. She had her eye on the Tuk Tuk for her second drink (Coconut Fat Washed Rum, Supasawa, Pandan Syrup, Mango Syrup, Rice Garnish, $18). She asked if it was very sweet, and he said that it was indeed quite sweet. Instead, she opted for the Firefox (Vodka, Pomegranate, Lemon, Vanila, Rose Liquor, Cherry Bitters, $18). Once again, this cocktail had a great presentation. It's served in a short, wide glass that sits perfectly on top of a piece of petrified-looking wood. You hold the glass with both hands and sip it like a bowl of soup. It was very balanced and smooth, with a nice tartness and light sweetness. JC stopped by again to check on our second round. A few minutes later he surprised us again, and returned with shot sized versions of the Tuk Tuk to sample. It was definitely on the sweeter side with good coconut and pandan flavor. We probably would have tried a third round, but we had dinner and a drink before coming here. Their menu of house-curated cocktails is impressive, and features many uncommon ingredients. We had a good time, but JC went the extra mile for us all night long and made it a great time. We will definitely return again.

Their front of house focus is the wine bar, but they also have a good cocktail and martini menu, as well as a nice selection of food items. The interior is warm and cozy with two different seating areas. The larger front area has bar seating, quite a few tables, and a lounge area in the back corner with several couches. There is another area in the back which is smaller, and houses their cocktail bar and a number of two seat high top tables. You can order anything on the menu from either area. We sat at the bar in front for some Sunday evening cocktails and small bites. We started out with the spinach & artichoke dip ($15). The dip came out very hot, was a big portion, and was very good. However, the menu said it came with toast points, but instead it was served with tortilla chips which were just ok. The advertised toast points or fresher tortilla chips would have made this appetizer better. My first cocktail was the Limoncello Martini (vodka, fresh Limoncello, lemon juice, $15). I usually love anything lemon and this was a good martini with light lemon flavor. She started with the Purple Martin Martini (vodka, raspberry puree, pineapple, $15). This was another good martini with light sweetness from the raspberry and pineapple, not a sugar bomb. We wanted a little more food, so we ordered the Caprese flatbread ($18). It was a good size, and the dough was great. It had a good amount of cheese and tomatoes, and I really liked the balsamic drizzle on top. However, it did not come with the basil that was listed on the menu. Next, I tried the Peperoncino Martini (vodka, Italian Peperoncino brine, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, $15). I loved this, one of the more unique martinis I've had. She liked her sip so much, she ordered her own for number three. Her second cocktail was the Carmel Apple Martini (carmel apple vodka, Licor 43, lemon, star anise, caramel cube garnish, $15). Most of the time, you would expect a caramel apple martini to be a sugar bomb, but not this one. The flavors were great with a light sweetness. And who doesn't like a caramel square treat? For my last one, I had the Cinnamon Sleigh (bourbon, cinnamon spice, maple, orange twist, $15). This was a good sipping finisher with light cinnamon notes and those great orange aromatics. KJ was our server, and she was very sweet and friendly. We came early in the evening and it was a little slow, so we chatting with her quite a bit. I'd take a half point off for the two food items not coming with the listed items, but rounded up to five stars overall. The bill had a 3% charge added for using a credit card. They have a music trivia night on Thursdays which would be fun to try. We enjoyed our first visit here, and will definitely return again.

Ambience on the inside as well as the outside are both pretty great. I've also never had a bad meal here, virtually all of their food is spectacular and made from scratch although their prices are not "cheap" they are also very fair, especially given the quality of food. The drinks are also dead on, they have a wide range of craft beer as well as a full bar. The service is great. The only thing I could think of the lands in the constructive arena is their live music. Sometimes they have open mic nights, other times they have a hired band or musician. The music is way, wayyy too loud. I don't mind live music, but it can't be so loud that you are unable to enjoy the company. Patrons should be able to talk to the person or the people next to them without being drowned out by the music. I recently came with friends for drinks and we were having a great time for the first 10 minutes we were there, but when the music started, we couldn't hear each other talk at all. So we just sat there quietly, drowned out to mediocre music. We all had another drink and then left. Might be a better idea to have the music loud enough to be slightly above background noise, but low enough where you can reasonably talk and listen to those around. Even ordering at the bar was tough. We would yell an order at the bartender, who would yell at back for confirmation. Often, exchanges in this dialogue included "what was that?"

My friend and I watched a FIFA World Cup game here while eating dinner. I ordered the poke salad,…read morewhich had ahi tuna, mixed greens, crispy rice, and an avocado dressing. The crispy rice looked and tasted interesting. These were cubes of rice packed together with the outer edges fried. The cube resembled fried tofu because the inner part was soft with rice filling. I thought the dressing was decent and complemented the salad more than the ahi tuna. This entree comes in a large portion as well. Overall, the ambience was decent inside. Since there were tables already reserved inside, the bar was the best place to watch the game. The inside dining area was relaxed as we were the only ones there for the majority of our visit. We talked a little bit with the bartender as well. I was also surprised to see some board games at one side of the restaurant. In contrast, the patio was lively, and there was someone performing music. There weren't many suitable tables to watch the match outside, so we opted for dining inside.

Could not have been happier. From the moment we walked through the heavy wooden door (fancy!) until we left- the host, the waitress, server, manager and even the owner were amazingly attentive and welcoming. When it's your birthday they put a nice sign at your table and everyone stops by to wish you an amazing bday. They also check in to make sure you're having a good time and enjoying your delicious meal. Now for the food: fresh, al dente and tasty. All adjectives you want running through your mind after the first bitesss. We ordered stuffed mushroom- hot and nicely seasoned. Mushrooms not overcooked and stuffing not overly cheesy. The shrimp linguine another hit with fresh tomatoes and jumbo shrimp with a nice snap. The light seasoning with lots of garlic was just perfect. We also ordered the beef short ribs. My friend said it melted on her mouth and the fresh mash potatoes- just right. Did I mention the portions were huge! Lots of goodies to take with us. To add to the dining experience we watched as patrons steadily came and went throughout the evening. You can tell this is a favorite for many. There were High-5s, handshakes and lots of "Welcome back friends!" Just an overall beautifully decked out neighborhood restaurant with so much heart and soul. I heard that the restaurant has been handed down from their grandparents... I'm sure they would be very proud. Highly recommend.

The meal started out well with the Caprese, which was actually good. Next came our entree, the carbonara was even worse and by far the biggest disappointment of the meal--the pasta was so overcooked that the sauce completely dried up and turned into scrambled eggs. The "poached egg" on top was also completely well-done, so it literally felt like eating boiled eggs with dry, bland pasta. After that, they brought out our other appetizer, the stuffed mushrooms, which were also noticeably under-seasoned. Finally, the pizza arrived, which was decent, but it's pretty hard to mess up a pizza. The service just made everything worse. Our server told us right at the beginning that sourdough bread was coming out, but it never arrived--we only realized it after we paid the check. Our water glasses were never refilled once throughout our stay. To top it off, when the desserts were brought out, our server just dropped them in the middle of our large table without giving us any small plates and completely disappeared. Because we were seated at the large table, it was really awkward for everyone to reach and share. Since our server was nowhere to be found, we actually had to flag down a completely different server just to get small plates. Our original server only finally resurfaced when we asked for the check. Between the bland food and the total lack of basic service, we definitely won't be coming back.
