Fabio is an all-star! We came for my 40th birthday and the experience was divine! Beef carpaccio, shrimp cocktail, gnocchi (Chef even allowed me to sub salmon with it), bolognese, ribeye, seafood risotto, and clam linguine were all delicious and presented beautifully. The stand outs for us were the tiramisu, the chocolate mousse cake, espresso martini, and the smoked old fashioned. All of that said, the night, and even the ambiance wouldn't be what they were without Fabio. He spent a considerable amount of time getting the perfect photo of my sister, friends and I in front of the Bellagio dancing fountains. He went above and beyond at every turn. I don't know why I wasn't expecting this place being as good as it was, however, our meals were delicious, service was on point, and add the Bellagio fountain views, we were all pleasantly surprised! I am SO happy to update my review. We went back to Lago almost a year after our last visit. We took our kids because the food was so good and we knew the they would appreciate it. We had the best service of our trip (and we went to a lot of great restaurants with fabulous service). Michael Ta. was our server and he had great suggestions, was friendly, professional, and when we explained our pacing problems with our last visit he was very understanding. Everything we ordered was excellent. The lemon tagliolini, Lago rigatoni, and Surf and Turf were favorites. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert, but did have a small bite of the cheesecake for a bday celebration and it was delicious! Being there from daylight to sunset is our favorite timing. When the sun is up the restaurant is so beautiful and bright, and then at nighttime its so pretty with the fountains. Lago will now have a permanent spot in our Vegas rotations. Nothing but good things to say. Our experience here is phenomenal. We didn't have any reservations but we're staying bellagio and we ended up choosing Lago for our anniversary dinner. They were booked for tables for the night but the lady told us we're free to find seats at the bar, this gentleman approached us who was seating at the bar I guess their table is ready and they were just hanging out at the bar while waiting he told us we could take his and his wife seats for us, we thanked him for saving our day. The dinner menu is very minimal but good variety. I was craving pasta so I ordered the chicken parmigiana my husband wanted to try the seafood risotto but Regina our bartender/server told him he can exchange it to pasta if he likes that's what he went for. Regina is awesome! She is very accommodating and attentive to our needs even though she's busy mixing drinks for other diners, she asked us why we were in Vegas and told her it's our anniversary, she congratulated us and gave the best service. The seafood pasta is incredible and the serving size is shareable for 2 I'd say. I ended up liking my husband's order over mine. We check their dessert menu and contemplating over tiramisu or 3 ways gelato. We chose the gelato, to our surprise she handed us a tiramisu as a complimentary anniversary token. It was very sweet of her. I would say the tiramisu is the best I've ever had, my husband finished it and he's not really fond of desserts but he really devoured this one. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the food and their service here. Maybe next time we have to booked a table in advance, the prices although is pricey you really get what you paid for. We charged the check to our room and giving her a good tip for a good service. I was really excited to visit Lago. I made reservations for last Friday 12pm and we were checked in within 10 mins of arrival. I requested outdoor seating hoping to catch the fountain show. To my luck, it's starts at 3pm which means we arrived too early. I was expecting more outdoor seating but our party of 5 was accommodated. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered an old fashioned, lago coastal tonic, lobster Benedict, steak and eggs, cheeseburger, and pasta caesar. All the food was okay. Service was top notch. Drinks were strong. Views are amazing! Service and atmosphere was great! We had Saturday breakfast here about 10:30am, didn't have reservations so we were seated on the side near casino. I had the Crème Brûlée French Toast - very disappointing. Looks impressive but it had very little egg batter within the bread. It was more like a very thick (2") slice of bread with a sweet exterior coating. Don't expect any protein from the egg that is usually found in French toast. Husbands had eggs, hash browns, sausage & bacon and was very happy with his. Service was exceptional; just avoid this particular breakfast dish! read more

They should be aware that they're in one of the nicest hotels in Las Vegas and they should offer better and friendlier service. Whenever we went around Venetian, we came across this place and have always wanted to try. Finally, made our reservations for a Saturday night around 9pm. The restaurant is modern with blue decors giving very Greece island vibes We were seated immediately, but unfortunately since it was raining we didn't get to sit outside. We were happy to get some glimpse of the fountain. The first look at the menu, the options are very limited and the prices are really very high. The service is excellent, I can give that and they accepted to split the bill by 7, which was very nice of them. We ordered couple of cocktails and fries with truffles, bruschetta board, garlic bread for starters and for the main course went with margarita pizza, pesto pasta and rigatoni. The appetizers were excellent, the French fries were the best ones we have ever had. Somehow the pasta was al Dante and under cooked, wish it was well done. We were celebrating my wife's last chemo treatment. We were asked to wait a bit for our reserved table but I was hopeful that they were trying to get a good table, they were. Then, after we had ordered, Kelsey, our hostess, came back apologizing for moving us again. She took us to a table right by the window. The view was amazing and my wife was pleasantly surprised. Kelsey didn't have to go out of her way, but she did! She really made our night. I would come back just for her and how she treated my wife. That being said, the restaurant is amazing and the food.....delicious. The fountains of the Bellagio going off every 15 minutes doesn't hurt either. We came for breakfast and order pizza and eggs Benedict with lobster. It was tasty and the lobster was tasty. Lobster came in one piece and not minced into tiny pieces. Pizza was crispy and thin. Servers are well trained and attend to your needs but not overly hovering. It is expensive for what you get and not a very good value. The other thing I would change is that they give you the credit card machine and you have to work it yourself and print your own receipt. Our paper run out and we had to ask for help. I find it ridiculous whatever the reason is. If I pay 150$ for 2 lobster eggs Benedict and a palm size pizza, I expect the server to finish the service with giving me the receipt to sign. read more

They were not fresh, they were not cooked correctly (they tasted boiled, not seared) the saffron sauce - which was part of what played a large role in hooking me into trying the dish, did not contain one bit of saffron. It did not taste at all of Safran and even the color was off. At $15 per not fresh boiled scallop you would think Lago could have sprung for a thread or two of saffron for flavor. Even the tomatoes weee cooked poorly - not braised - maybe boiled? Blah The small portion of garlic bead was oily and not up to the level of an Applebees. It came well after we sat waiting for the bill for a very lengthy time. We ordered it twice as we understood they had forgiven it. The rest of the meal was forgettable. I had made a reservations a few weeks out so we were able to get seated within 5 minutes of arriving. We checked in and took a quick sit and then someone came over to walk us to our table. We were seated outside on the patio which was exciting because we had a great view of the Fountains (we saw it go off 3 times while we were there) but since it was end of July - it was extremely hot and there was no misters or fans. We started with an order of garlic bread. Very good. Very garlicky. I ordered the clams with linguine. My friend got the chicken Parmesan. It was a HUGE piece of chicken. My pasta was cooked well and lots of yummy clams. It tasted light and fresh with the white wine sauce and cherry tomatoes. It was weird that I didn't get a bowl for my shells but my friend took the pasta that came with her meal and put it on her plate so I can use her bowl. They do have the small appetizer plants but I had that with my garlic bread on it. Service was a little slow. This was a good experience. What a 5 star dining experience for brunch! My wife ordered the lobster benedict and I got the steak and eggs. We shared an arugula salad for an appetizer and the gelato trio for dessert. The arugula salad was the best salad we've ever had. So fresh and refreshing. The wagyu steak was so good. In fact, my wife commented that it was better than the steak we had at Mastros in the past. She enjoyed the lobster Benedict. The hollandaise sauce wasn't too salty as it is at many other places. There was a nice combination of savory and tartness in flavor that we enjoyed. Based on the price you pay, service should be good and it definitely was. The ambiance was great - we were seated by the window overlooking the fountains. First time dining at Lago. Let me start by saying the view from the dining room that overlooks the Bellagio fountains is second to none. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the view of the fountains just takes it over the top. The service was also excellent with all service staff being very attentive to our needs and observant when drinks needed refilled, time for the check, etc. The food was good. My chicken Parmesan was large, tender, and breaded well. The vodka cream sauce was smooth with a nice touch of basil added at the end. It was really good but nothing outstanding with the presentation, color, flavor profile, etc. The pasta was just served in a bowl on the side. Simple, good, but not special in any way. For $44, I expected a little something to dress it up a bit. Even other people's plates of fish looked just plain and unadorned.
