This is an update to a previous Yelp review from four years ago when this dealership was managed and owned by Envision. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and delighted that this wonderful dealership is now under new management. I have had a recall item noted on my Range Rover since June of 2025. I had called Penske Landrover in Puente Hills to correct this problem and received the run around for over 6 months informing me that the part was unavailable and the recall could not be completed. However, a kind and pleasant phone call from Cerritos Range Rover, changed the whole dynamic of this long, frustrating issue to a positive outcome. Cerritos Range Rover had the part and was eager to correct the recall issue free of charge. I am so happy and delighted that I took my Range Rover back to this dealership. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after months of trying to resolve an issue directly with Jaguar Land Rover Cerritos, I feel compelled to share my experience. In September 2025, I purchased a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+ from this dealership for under the federal used EV tax credit price threshold. My household qualifies for the credit, and the vehicle otherwise appears eligible. When I filed my taxes, the IRS rejected my return because the vehicle VIN was never properly reported to the IRS through the required Energy Credits Online (ECO) system. I later learned that dealers are required to submit a time-of-sale report (IRS Form 15400) so buyers can independently claim the federal EV tax credit. I am NOT asking the dealership to obtain a tax credit for me. I am simply asking them to complete the federally required reporting process that allows eligible buyers to claim the credit themselves. Over the past several weeks, I have: - Sent multiple detailed emails - Provided IRS guidance and links - Called and left several voicemails - Attempted to escalate the issue through both sales and finance Unfortunately, my concerns have either been misunderstood, dismissed, or ignored entirely. Communication has effectively stopped despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter professionally and directly. What is most frustrating is that this situation has now caused a significant financial hardship for my family because we reasonably expected to qualify for the credit at the time of purchase. I understand mistakes happen. What has disappointed me most is not the initial issue itself, but the complete lack of follow-up, accountability, and willingness to engage in resolving it. At this point, I have been forced to seek assistance through my congressional representative's office and may also need to pursue complaints through consumer protection and regulatory agencies. I sincerely hope ownership or upper management sees this review and reaches out so this issue can finally be addressed appropriately. read more

I wanted to share a truly positive experience at this location. My husband usually takes my vehicle in for service but he was out on a business trip and my car's check engine light came on. I made an appt to get my car inspected and upon arrival, Margarita assisted me with the process. Thanks to her knowledge and positive attitude, I was able to get in and out within an hour and a half. Dealership is under new management. DO NOT take your car for service here. Service advisors are dropping like flies - I've had 3 different ones within a month timeframe bc they're leaving. They don't offer loaner cars anymore until they've diagnosed your car first and as of yesterday, it takes about 14 days AFTER you drop your car off for them to diagnose the issue. So, you will be without a car and spending money on a rental for about a month. I have been coming to this dealership for a few years and have never had issues like this before. So disappointing. In Jan 2023 My Discovery Sport 2018 front right headlight went out. I had to have headlight and broken opf connector "which is the cord connected to the headlight" replaced for $2150.72. November 2024 I was made aware that my front right headlight was out AGAIN! This is way too soon for that so I took a look and it looks like the connector piece that was supposed to be replaced was not installed correctly for it to go out this soon. This is my second review, when I first got the car everything went smooth (obviously) but now that I need general upkeep on my car you can't trust the service department. I came in because they were offering 25% off service, scheduled my appointment and they then said that was a mistake it doesn't cover service since I was past due on my oil change. They lied! Then told me that i need to get my breaks done asap, I could tell the energy was pushy so I took my car to another dealership and they told me I still have 50% of my break life. Dear Land Rover and Land Rover Cerritos, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I have received from your company regarding my 2016 Range Rover Diesel. My vehicle has been in your shop numerous times since September of last year for diesel exhaust filter issues, and after spending nearly $8000 on repairs to solve the issue, it's still not fixed. This morning I discovered that there is a known issue with the diesel exhaust filter that had resulted in a class action lawsuit against Land Rover that has been ongoing since early last year. In fact one of the vehicles involved is from Land Rover Cerritos. Besides giving me the run around and never fixing the problem with the car, what is most concerning to me is that you had to know about the issue with the diesel exhaust filter and not to disclose it to me. Instead, you recommended repairs that never corrected the issues, leaving me with a huge bill and no resolution. This is not only unacceptable and huge breach of my trust in your company, but the behavior also leans towards fraud. You put me and my family back on the road with a vehicle that was clearly unsafe to drive time and time again. On Dec 28th, two days after one of the "repairs" was completed, the vehicle broke down again leaving my family and I driving a crippled car in a snowstorm through rural Utah, and eventually stranded for three days without a vehicle on our vacation. As a customer, I expect honesty and transparency from the companies I do business with. It is frustrating to learn that you knew about this issue and kept it from me. I believe that I have the right to know about any known issues with my vehicle, and it is your responsibility to inform me. I am extremely disappointed that you misled me and wasted my time and money. Your lack of transparency and misleading recommendations have caused a significant financial burden for me. I hope that you take this matter seriously and work to rectify this issue, and if you choose not to, I will seek legal counsel, go to the media, and any other avenue to rectify the issue. For any other Land Rover diesel owners out there, take this as a warning. Google the class action suit, do your homework, and don't let this dealership or any others take advantage of you too. read more

So I'm only giving 4 stars for the dealership and here's why. The service advisers are great, amazing even. They have gone above and beyond for me each time I've gone in for service or a recall. Even this last time when I had a major issue, my service advisor went above and beyond to make sure I understood what needed to be done and how long it would take. They are a 5 rating. Now to the opportunity for improvement here at the dealership- their loaner car policy, and lack there of for available cars for those who need a loaner. More over when you receive a car it's almost like you are renting it. I've never had a dealership take a cc to place on file for a loaner vehicle. I've never had my loaner vehicles be dirty/unwashed when I received them or have no washer fluid in them. I've never had a loaner vehicle have the check engine light or fluid lights come on when I have taken them home. This is a poor sign of loaner car maintenance. And I can't understand why they would be like this, especially when these loaner cars are typically sold as used vehicles after a certain mileage. In closing I enjoy my service experience here and think the team does a great job, but they need to reconsider their loaner car and maintenance program. These are very expensive cars that are being worked on and should be treated as such. read more

I wrote the bellow review and someone form the dealership contacted me and said they will solve the issue, I did email the general manager over 2 weeks ago but have not yet received any response. Just a trick to pretend they care and want to do the right thing. I bought a Mercedes here, I know that they are not a Mercedes dealership but as a high end franchise store I was expecting that they are selling cars in good condition. It was a 1 owner car with CLEAN Carfax, They told me that the only thing that was needed and they had done was rims that needed to be fixed. Right out out of the bat when I drove home I felt that the whole car was shaking, I called them right back and was told that It only needed wheel balance and I could bring it back for them to rebalance the wheels. I did that but it didn't solve the problem. I called many many times and was told to take it to a rim repair shop, I took the car to the same repair shop that they had told me they had fixed the rims at before and was told that the dealership had only fixed 1 rim and it was the other 3 rims that were the problem. I called the dealership and was told for a call back from the used car manager, of course I didn't want to pay for it. after over an hour of wait I asked the repair shop to fix it and I paid myself. later when I got hold of them at the dealership I was told that I had got discount and they didn't want to help me. It don't end there, when I got my plates and wanted to put them on, I saw that front bumper was damaged and VERY cheaply fixed with extremely poor paint job. I could expect something like this on a old corolla from a moms and pops store not on a AMG from a High End store. To date I am waiting for them to pay me back for the rims but no one has contacted me yet, I guess I have to go to small claim court to get my money back. read more

I reported some issues (car defects and recall) along with engine and coolant light on. I've asked to be checked. Well, I was told to check it would cost me $239.00 for each issue I mentioned. Just to CHECK IT. So then, I asked what the maintenance service will check for. Service advisor said just oil and filter. I mean, WOW!!! $620.00 just for an oil change, doesn't seem right to me. I will have to tell you that Carlos N., and the Sales Manager/General Manager, Mike, are amazing! Took my Range Rover Sport V6 for an oil/filter change and greeted by service advisor, Mina. I presented a copy of the special offer which clearly indicates $235.98 + tax for Lube/Oil/Filter. He immediately said the offer only applies to a smaller vehicle and it would be a special deal price of $499 for my vehicle (regular price $699). I told Mina that the coupon that I printed from Land Rover Cerritos does not state anything about the price differential based on car size and the offer Disclaimer only states present the coupon at time of write up and not be combined with any other coupon. Mina then stated that I am free to go to another dealership. I replied, you just wasted my time this morning and this sounds like "bait and switch". Then Mina said, I will do it for $399. OMG!! Long story short, after displaying condescending attitude and tone he said he will honor the special offer just to make me happy. (I just called the Cerritos Land Rover service dept and verified that the special offer is good for my Range Rover Sport). As I was paying the invoice, I told Mina that he made my visit to LR Cerritos very unpleasant and I will most likely not return for future service needs. The scam he tried to pull was very evident and asked whether it was a direction from the Management or his own - He did not respond. I just browsed through other "one start" rating reviews on LR Cerritos - 95% of the single star was related to the service dept. Further Mina is mentioned repeatedly on customer's bad experiences. Here are some examples: *"Once again Land Rover Cerritos has done it. Such a bad and condescending attitude from service advisor Mina, this guy talks to clients like if he's doing us a favor. He forgets he only job is "custom service" don't like this guys at all. This place has lost me as a customer. With the recent change of ownership, my service advisor that I have worked with for over 10 years with 3 different Range Rovers is gone, and the service rates are OUTRAGEOUS. I did not receive a formal estimate for over $13,000 worth of work that they proposed, only photos and a video. No breakdown of labor and parts charges, making it seem like they just pick a price out of thin air. Last time I had an oil change at this dealership it was less than $200. Today they quoted $465. I would not recommend this business for service. I purchased my car from this location in November 2021. Was super happy to have my first "luxury" car, having been a Honda owner for years. The salesperson was nice and I felt comfortable during the car buying process. The problems happened when I had to deal with service. Within a month I was having issues with the car. It was extremely hard to get an appointment, which I chalked up to COVID. The customer service was average at best but my repairs got addressed so no big deal. The problems arose this March when during a heavy rain it started "raining" in my car. I took it to the dealership and was assigned to Anish the service rep. They kept my car for 2 weeks and during that time I had to call to follow up on the process since I got only one update call to tell me pricing. When I called Anish seemed bothered that I wanted updates on my car and what was going on. The service advisor did not even call me when my car was ready. I called and another service person told it was an I could pick it up. When I did, I wanted to go over the services and what was all included in the final bill. The attendant there said he didn't know and I would need to speak with Anish. I left my number and he said he would have him call me. That never happened. When I got into my car, I was dirty, with black fingerprints on the upholstery. There was a strong mildew smell. I had to pay for an interior detail to get it clean and smelling ok. I had new scratches on my passenger door which no one could explain. I reached out to the service manager as well to tell them about the issues but never got a call back. After spending almost 3k on repairs, I noted issues with the repair last week. I called for an appointment to have them look at it. I really did not want to return but I was going to give it one last chance. I showed up for my 7am appointment to be greeted by Anish again. He first tried to tell me the issue was residual water from the repair in March. I told him no that could not be it. Then he said I needed a new windshield but they were back ordered with 45 people on the waiting list. He gives me no solutions or recommendations that would help me and instead gives me the number to Land Rover to call them and see "if they can help". He had the attitude of he could care less and spent less than 5 minutes talking to me. I am extremely disappointed with my first "luxury car" service experience. I would recommend that if you need service, you locate another Land Rover dealer. That is what I am going to do. read more

Inconsistent and unreliable in contact through email and text. It's like they won't help you unless you are there in person. I was ready to purchase and asked for them to verify a few spots to let me know if there were any dings and they sent me a video a week later that I couldn't watch and ignored the ask to look at specific spots on the car that I screenshotted and circled. Five minutes of work max. I got the default automated email from the manager checking in and I made the same ask of him. I'm still waiting...I was ready to buy but now so sure that's the type of service that reflects trust or bodes well. read more

This morning I had a big issue with my car. It was making a huge squeaking noise. Amish and his awesome team figured it out and left me at ease when it was just a simple screw that came loose. It was such a simple fix that if they wanted to they could have lied about it and made it a bigger deal because I would have paid it. This is why I trust this dealership, it always has an honest team and never lies about what I really need vs what they can get out of me. From Jon Hill I had no idea I was going to purchase a vehicle today, but this Jaguar Land Rover Cerritos team were great at being attentive and friendly. Felt like I was hanging out instead of shopping. Working with the salesman Ryan Ramirez was easy. On top of everything, Ryan helped facilitate the delivery of my new car and remained in constant communication during the entire process.
