    In Jan 2023 My Discovery Sport 2018 front right headlight went out. I had to have headlight and broken opf connector "which is the cord connected to the headlight" replaced for $2150.72. November 2024 I was made aware that my front right headlight was out AGAIN! This is way too soon for that so I took a look and it looks like the connector piece that was supposed to be replaced was not installed correctly for it to go out this soon. I need this issue resolved or I'll simply have to contact corporate directly.

    Dear Land Rover and Land Rover Cerritos, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I have received from your company regarding my 2016 Range Rover Diesel. My vehicle has been in your shop numerous times since September of last year for diesel exhaust filter issues, and after spending nearly $8000 on repairs to solve the issue, it's still not fixed. This morning I discovered that there is a known issue with the diesel exhaust filter that had resulted in a class action lawsuit against Land Rover that has been ongoing since early last year. In fact one of the vehicles involved is from Land Rover Cerritos. Besides giving me the run around and never fixing the problem with the car, what is most concerning to me is that you had to know about the issue with the diesel exhaust filter and not to disclose it to me. Instead, you recommended repairs that never corrected the issues, leaving me with a huge bill and no resolution. This is not only unacceptable and huge breach of my trust in your company, but the behavior also leans towards fraud. You put me and my family back on the road with a vehicle that was clearly unsafe to drive time and time again. On Dec 28th, two days after one of the "repairs" was completed, the vehicle broke down again leaving my family and I driving a crippled car in a snowstorm through rural Utah, and eventually stranded for three days without a vehicle on our vacation. As a customer, I expect honesty and transparency from the companies I do business with. It is frustrating to learn that you knew about this issue and kept it from me. I believe that I have the right to know about any known issues with my vehicle, and it is your responsibility to inform me. I am extremely disappointed that you misled me and wasted my time and money. Your lack of transparency and misleading recommendations have caused a significant financial burden for me. I hope that you take this matter seriously and work to rectify this issue, and if you choose not to, I will seek legal counsel, go to the media, and any other avenue to rectify the issue. For any other Land Rover diesel owners out there, take this as a warning. Google the class action suit, do your homework, and don't let this dealership or any others take advantage of you too.

    Under new management!! I promise you they are excellent and they actually care. Shawn the GM and Mark the used car manager put their best foot forward in making me happy with my trade! I highly recommend giving them a call or visit this location for your very own experience. You will not regret it. Hazel was my sales representative and Anna the finance manager, both ladies were very patient kind and knowledgeable of the vehicles and options making this a smooth process. Better yet, this was wrapped up quickly and I left smiling and satisfied with my purchase. Hats off to the new and improved Cerritos Land Rover for a job well done.

    Can I get a round of applause for Mina Rezk, Service Dept!! An amazing man! I was greeted with kindness & promptness from the beginning and this continued through the duration of having my car fixed (about a 2 weeks). Mina always found a way to stay in communication with me which was important. I've been to many service depts from other dealerships and it always seemed like you're chasing someone down just to get updates. Also, he was very mindful of our budget which we were very grateful. He was also transparent on the repairs that had to be done. The quality of service was by far best I've ever encountered. Mina you're committed to excellent service & very pleased with the work on my car. Big Thank You.

    I honestly think giving 1 star is too generous. I took my Range Rover Evoque 2018 (38k miles) for a maintenance. I reported some issues (car defects and recall) along with engine and coolant light on. I've asked to be checked. Well, I was told to check it would cost me $239.00 for each issue I mentioned. Just to CHECK IT. So then, I asked what the maintenance service will check for. Service advisor said just oil and filter. I mean, WOW!!! $620.00 just for an oil change, doesn't seem right to me. Service was rude and useless. Customer service was awful and I don't recommend anyone going there. I don't mind paying a pretty penny for a good service, that doesn't happen at this establishment so don't waste your time, nor money. Drive to Newport Beach or Torrance. Avoid Cerritos at all costs. Major RIPOFF!!!

    Excellent communication, great service and very professional. Kasra Ari has been by far the best experience I've had with Land Rover and I've been to many! Very attentive and helpful sales man. Explained everything with detail I needed to know about my purchase. Any car I wanted to test drive, he made it possible. Very polite and upfront. Have nothing else to say but THANK YOU for my making my purchase experience the best. I will definitely keep coming back to him. About the dealership, very well kept, clean, and presentable. Again, by far better than most Land Rover dealers I've been to.

    I needed to replace my front and rear brakes on my 2018 Equinox. I received many different quotes…read morefrom other mechanics, quoting me over $300 for labor only. I reached out to Refined Auto with the same request, and it was a more reasonable price, especially since I had no idea if I needed to do anything to my rotors. My dad was present while Cesar worked on my car, and my dad gave me such a glowing review of how Cesar worked. My dad has not been able to stop talking about how Cesar did an amazing job on my car, how clean he works, how he keeps his tools, and his communication. My dad was so impressed with the quality of work Cesar provided on my car that he decided to get a quote for replacing his rotors. When Ceasr finished on my car, he let me know that my brake fluid was not in good condition. He drained my brake fluid and replaced it with new fluid. He explained to me in detail that brake fluid should not be topped off. I had no idea, and apparently, my dad didn't know either, and we had topped it off because it was low. Now, I know, for future reference, that when it's low, I should replace my brakes. I appreciate the work that Cesar did on my car and his communication. I will absolutely use his service again and recommend him to friends and family.

    WOW! Truly impressed with this location…read more They verified the brake caliper on my girlfriend's vehicle was not truly seized. Downey Car Care Center was going to charge an additional $289.47 for a brake caliper that was not needed and an additional $152.10 for a brake fluid service had we replaced the caliper. While Downey Car Care Center highly recommended the caliper, Alex's Auto Repair stated they did not want us to waste a lot of money if the calipers were not the problem. Truly grateful for Alex's Auto Repair prompt responses and amazing customer service. They verified the caliper did not need to be replaced. They simply lubricated our caliper. We were able to save over $400 and we are grateful. Thank you for your ethics, honesty, and time. It truly makes a difference. (photo on the left is from Alex's auto repair; photo on right is from Downey Car Care Center). So glad we got our brakes and rotors replaced by Alex's Auto Repair. I went to another shop and they measured it and showed me that the front brakes were at 3mm but the back brakes were at 7mm and could go another 10k miles. Edit: Due to the gaslighting, I uploaded the picture of the measurements clearly showing what they told me.

I want to thank Jay who helped people the day I went. The facility was clean and organized, so I felt very comfortable about coming here. They are next to car wash and a gas station. Also, Stonewood Mall is across the way too. The had coffee and snacks, I loved that they had Kirkland coffee pods, oh heck yea. The waiting area is not huge but enough. Jay was very knowledgeable and helpful; I overheard him helping people out. As far as value, I felt I got a good value, as I was shopping around. I was given a time estimate, and a time estimate if I wanted additional service and they were very good about meeting that. I got a free car wash at the was station next door, full service, and they did a great wash. I am already planning my next visit with them. I will update review in the future.

When I pointed out the banner at their shop that says "Free Brake Inspection" and their website which states Free Brake Inspection, he retorted that their website also states they do free smog checks, but he states they do not even do smog. (When relooking at their website, they do not mention free smog anyways.) Lorenzo stated the brake inspections were not free and the website got it wrong. When I asked him for the person in charge he stated Erika and Ezekiel were in the parts dept. It is a shame Lorenzo was the only advisor handling a long line at check in. He stated Corporate was aware of the brake inspection charge discrepancy. If they are aware and he is aware, why try to charge a customer for a "Free" brake inspection? After leaving our car here, we heard the next day of a list of repairs needed. Lorenzo stated they believed our brake caliper was seized but could not confirm it. He attempted to charge us an additional $289.47 for the brake caliper service and $152.10 for the brake fluid service in addition to the brakes and rotor replacement service charge we were expecting. The issue is that when we asked Lorenzo if he could confirm if the brake caliper was truly needed to be replaced, he could just say he highly suggests replacing it. From the beginning, this place was trying to scam. I reached out to Alex's Auto Repair in Cypress, who confirmed they could verify if the brake caliper would be needed. Alex's Auto Repair stated there would be no need to waste extra money if he could confirm the issue. Alex's Auto Repair serviced us, and simply lubricated our caliper without us needing to pay over $800 for the whole brake service like Downey Care Care was quoting us. Alex's Auto Repair took the time to verify the issue, charging us less than half of what Downey Care Care center wanted to charge. My issue with this location is they would have happily overcharged us for a service that was not needed. Take your car to Alex's Auto Repair, save your time and money. While Downey Care Care Center was busy playing around, we had to spend extra time and money booking a rental car. (Photo on the left is from Alex's Auto Repair who took the time to verify the concern and lubricate our caliper. The photo on the right includes one page of many pages of services recommended by Downey Care Center including replacing the brake caliper and fluid exchange had we chosen to go that route.) Makes me question if the remaining suggested repairs (not all pictured below) by Downey Care Care Center were even necessary.
