What a dump. Bad food. Bad service. Filthy bathroom with no locks on the stall doors. How hard can it be to fix that before tourist season?

Tried this place for the first time with my kids. I ordered calamari as an appetizer which never came before dinner. I asked the server where the calamari was he said "Oh did you want that as an appetizer. I said yes since it is listed on your menu as an appetizer. At that point things went from bad to worse. I looked at the drink menu on the table and in bold letters it said No Drink Refills. Really maybe the owners don't have kids or maybe they know kids will plow through drinks, then all of a sudden I started feeling like we had entered a tourist restaurant, you know the ones that charge you for ice, ketchup, everything. My youngest ordered the chicken tender plate and what she got was 4 small chicken tenders and a piece of lettuce. I come from the Tri-state area and a plate there means you get the tenders, fries, a pickle and a garnish. I asked our server why it said Chicken tender plate yet there was nothing on it but chicken. He looked at me and said fries are extra would you like some, and I said no thank you. I ordered chicken piccata a dish that I love, and expect the chicken to be thin sliced but not here. It was a thick piece of chicken with capers and a ton of garlic, ouch. I realized this was one of the worst dining experience I have ever had. Can't give it a one star but they came real close. Oh when the calamari did get to the table it had cooled off so it was chewy, not good. read more

With nothing else open on a Sunday night in October, we gave this place a try, and we are very happy that we did. We ordered the calamari, house salad, and large vegetable pizza. The calamari included banana peppers and Italian sausage, which was a delicious twist. The house salad was pretty standard but also had shaved beets. We also enjoyed the warm, bread loaf and dipped it in marinara, which was great. The pizza was loaded with veggies and had really, really good flavor. There is a dining area, separate bar area, and outdoor eating area with lights. Good stop! read more

I've lived on the Cape for 40 yrs and remember now why I haven't been here for 20 yrs. The owner/ manager was rude, hamburger like a hockey puck, chicken parm horrible. Service was terrible which is why we couldn't even send it back. Yes pizza was good but try Palios in Hyannis if you want good pizza. read more

Have been eating here for years and it still comes down to do I want a Big Mac pizza or a kitchen sink. Have seen many waitresses come and go but the girls behind the bar are always there with a smile and a frosty beverage. The new addition is beautiful and adds a nice touch to the place. One of my favorite parts of spring is drinks in the sun out back on the patio. Note a small kitchen sink in for 2 a large 3-4 if not more it is huge! read more

One word: awesome! I would come here without kids, because the service and food were both great. But IF you do have kids, dinner at Laaurino's is a must. With both a bouncy house and a small playground on the outdoor patio, we felt like we got a free baby sitter for the evening. We actually sat there in peace and quiet, sipped our wine, and talked to other couples sitting next to us while all our kids played together -- all while enjoying a nice evening outside on the patio. The eggplant salad special was fantastic, and the pizza was some of the best we've ever had. Can't recommend more highly enough. read more

I should have known when we saw two employees pull up to the two front parking spots and go in to work. Sign says patio opens at 5. We arrived at 5 and the hostess acted like we were crazy for asking to sit on the patio. It wasn't set up and they made us feel very unwelcome. I ordered a glass of wine. It was awful, so I asked for a different glass. They told me I would have to pay for it even though I had barely taken half a sip. Our plates were dirty and we had to pour our own water. They didn't offer my kids Crayons even though we find out from the table next to us they have them. The high chair was covered in crusty food and dirt. Even the swing set had a broken baby swing. Our server just wanted to argue with me. We left before the food even got there we were so put off by the bad service and lack of any knowledge of customer service. I blame management for not training the employees or having any rules or standards. I can't comment on the food. After what I experienced I was too scared to think about their food safety standards. read more

Food was ok. The big Mac pizza tasted just like a big Mac! It was lite on the beef and onion. Lots of lettuce on the top, hard to handle. Eggplant Parma was huge but they only had two kinds of pasta linguine and ziti, for an italian place that's crazy, I wanted angel hair. It was a bit greasy and watery at the bottom of the dish. Lacked flavor so I doused it with salt. The service was ok but there was a slight language barrier with the waitress and we were shocked to see a second charge for soda refill! With no heads-up. No more bounce house!! After reading all of the positive reviews, we decided to stop in while in Brewster the last week in July. The kids were extremely disappointed that the bounce house was gone! The swing set remained, but it was really crowded, so pretty hard to actually play for a smaller child. The service was just alright, definitely not good. We ordered a chicken piccata and bbq chicken pizza - the pasta dish was rather bland and just oily, without any lemon flavors. My husband thought the pizza was decent, but commented that he wouldn't want it as his local go to pizza place. All in all, we won't be returning. read more

This our family's go-to pizza for take- out, year round ( we do have a lot of company). Occasionally we go for dinner and are never disappointed. Homey, warm, kid-friendly, lots of good comfort food, bar-room is local but welcoming, bartenders are phenomenal. Unlike other 'local' hang outs this place is a fun, relaxed and unpretentious tavern and a great family spot. Separate dining room if the bar area is too boisterous for you. I had heard great things about this restrant and left utterly disappointed. I ordered the Brewster Salad which was drenched in sweet dressing with cranberries, apples, and candy pecans. It was like a dessert rather than a meal. I also got a side of fries which has absolutely no seasoning not even any salt. Everything here is huge! Portions were easily double what we could eat. A small pizza is a 12 inch and the dough is fantastic - not too thick, but not thin and perfectly crispy/chewy. The quesadilla is also very large and easily enough for 2 people. We ordered fries and 1 order was large enough for 3 of us to share. The caprese sub with basil pesto, spinach, cheese and tomatoes was also excellent. Great value - especially in the area. read more

To keep things concise: service wasn't particularly good (walked by our table at least 7-8 times over about 15 minutes after seating us before taking our orders), food was meh (got the veal Parmesan because I figured it's hard to mess up but veal was tough, sauce tasted like it was straight out of a can and the breading had already slid right off my veal by the time the server brought it to us). Laurinos is great for children. It has outside seating with a playground and sometimes even a bouncy house. If you go inside, you will be greeted by fish at the doorway. Although inside it is cramped and noisy--it still has delicious food. read more

Ordered take-out pizza after reading several reviews for pizza in the area. Must say I was shoicked at how killer their pizzas were. One review said the Kitchen Sink was a bit on the soggy side - so we ordered one without tomato and pineapple (figuring those ingredients might sog it out). It was awesome!!!! It musta weighed at least 47 pounds - and was just perfect! The menu suggested that a large would feed 3-4 people: true enough if those 3 or 4 people are a cross between Longshoremen, NFL linemen and Sasquatch! We ordered three pizzas for 8 people and, despite a Hurculean effort, couldn't even knock out two of them (looks like pizza for breakfast tomorrow!), The Kitchen Sink was truly epic, but I must say the Bacon, Onion and Green Pepper was truly orgasmic! We will not hesitate to hit up Laurino's next time in Brewster! read more

The staff was lovely and my meal was great. However my mother probably got the worst case of food poisoning she's ever had from the linguini with clams. Safe to say we won't be frequenting Laurinos for awhile. read more

Bring your own wine glass. They apparently do not have enough for everyone. According to the waiter they are short on them - yes the manager is aware - but she doesn't care. I can see that as she had zero personality and did not even address us when she seated up. She just dropped our menus on the table and said here you go - not "enjoy your meal" nothing. Not a great experience here. Waited 15 minutes for our waiter to come. When he did he spoke broken English and got our orders all mixed up. Took another 20 minutes to get served rolls (which were hot and yummy). Food order came out another 30-40 minutes later. Chicken fingers came out with Buffalo sauce on...had to send them back. I had the special Haddock with a basil topping...cooked ok, was just a little weird combination. My son's calzone was filled with about a pound of mozzerella cheese, way too much. Would not put pepperoni in it even though they have pepperoni pizzas. Ordered no ricotta cheese in it. Waiter did not know what that was and had to show him on the menu. Sign on the table says something like: in order to serve all our customers in a timely manner no substitutions or changes to the menu items is allow, please enjoy the menu the way it is on the menu. I should have left when I saw that. read more

This was a place we have frequented many times over the last few years. We enjoyed the warmth and friendliness of Stacy and Jenny at the bar, and the food, especially the pizza was pretty good. Over time, different people tended the bar, some just as welcoming, others competent but not noteworthy. Last Saturday we had a particularly bad experience. We sat at the bar and were bombarded by the loud, profane drunken young men near us. Keep in mind there were children in the vicinity, as well. Rather than speak with these men, the bartenders (two women I had not seen before) continued to serve them. One even looked up a particular drink on her phone upon their request. I spotted the owner at one point, but she seemed to not be bothered by the behavior of these men. We eventually moved to the opposite end of the bar, where we were served flat beer! Overall, an unpleasant evening. We don't see any reason to return. read more

Please don't go here, unless you want to risk your life. I grew up in Brewster and of course have been here many times. Have never been impressed, and hadn't been in a long time. We were given a gift card, so we went last weekend. I ordered the mussels over pasta. Should have known better! About halfway in I popped a mussel in my mouth and there was an explosion of raw sewage. I almost vomitted on the table. They served me a dead rotten mussel! Unacceptable. The chef should be checking the mussels daily to make sure none are dead. Told the waitress and she was nice, but neither the manager nor the chef had the decency to come apologize. They could kill someone! I was sick for two days after this! What if I had been elderly? I of course didn't finish my meal and the waitress didn't charge us for it, but the manager was Right There and didn't come over! We still have money on the gift certificate and I've thrown it out! AWFUL SERVICE!!! My boyfriend and I stopped in here the other night around 8:45 p.m. We weren't sure they were even opened but he went in to check and after the bartender got off of her cell phone, she proceeded to let him know that we could get the full menu until 9 p.m. and subs/pizza after that. We knew we were late but they were open. We walked in, sat at the bar and after several minutes the bartender put down two menus in front of us. No "hello", no "can I get you a drink", nothing. She proceeded to talk to the other couple of patrons still at the bar. Another bartender came out from the back and started washing glasses and picking up. Still - no greeting, no order. The first bartender then left the bar area and started wiping down tables. At this point, we had closed our menus and put them on the bar because we knew we were pressed for time and wanted to get our order in to the kitchen. Another five minutes passed. We eventually got up and walked out. The service we received, or should I say DIDN'T receive was so terrible that I would NEVER go back to this establishment ever again. We ended up driving down the road a bit and found a lovely restaurant called Mahoney's Bar and Grill and were welcomed with open arms and amazing service. DO NOT go to this restaurant if you want any kind of service! read more

As a local, been coming to this place forever. In the past year the service has gone way south. Untrained staff that cares about nothing. The bar is the worst, and the manager seems indifferent. Business must be phenomenal since they seem to care nothing about providing decent food with reasonable service. To top it off, in order to avoid the 1% increase in credit card charges they no longer take credit cards, but they have set up an atm machine that they pilfer $2.50 from you should you not see the 6 inch illegible chalk message hidden away in the corner. So instead of paying the .50 additional charge on my $50 meal, they made $3.00 On my atm withdrawal after having to wait in line for 15 minutes with all of the other unsuspecting guests. Bad service, bad management, mediocre food? Plenty of much better restaurant the Cape to deal with this b's. This local will take his business elsewhere. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. Before even going to Laurino's, we called ahead to make a reservation for a party of 10 days in advance, something most restaurants prefer in order to prep for the size. However, Laurino's refused to accept any reservation plans, so we were forced to take our chances. After waiting a few minutes, we were seated, fully unaware of the poor service that awaited us. We waited a few minutes for our drink orders to be taken but then had to wait even longer for the drinks to arrive. The wait times for seating and drinks cannot even compare to the wait time for food. After ordering, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive, even after newer guests were served and received their bills. Once the food arrived at our table, only half of the table received COLD food and finished their meals while the rest continued to wait. The wait staff continued to bring out cold food and was fully unaware of which plates were still missing. When a subject in our party looked to speak with the manager, she mysteriously disappeared into the kitchen and would not address the issue for an inappropriate amount of time. Once the manager arrived at the table, she was unapologetic and unable to take responsibility for the situation. In the end, only $75 was taken off the bill for TEN PEOPLE, really just a drop in the bucket. We will never go to this restaurant again due to their inability to handle customer issues in a timely and polite manner. read more
