I have stayed in the Venetian/Palazzo many many times and one of the restaurants I haven't tried was Lavo There's such great restaurants all over and many to choose from, you can never try it all. That just meant I have to keep coming back every month or so literally hehe We didn't make reservations, only because sometimes You just don't know what to eat at the moment. But felt like pasta tonite, So I decided to give Lavo a try. Love the ambiance of this Italian restaurant. It was a busy Sunday evening on this Memorial weekend. Got seat at the area high top area. Had one seafood pasta to share and $38 glass of rose wine to end the evening. Would love to come back and try more food items Thank you for the hospitality

We had a hard time finding an open restaurant during our recent visit to Vegas, as a big conference had rented out many of the restaurants near where we were staying. I'm glad we found Lavo! I had a nice experience. The atmosphere was really beautiful and I enjoyed my food. It was a little expensive, but on par with other nearby places. The food came out quickly, and while not life changing, it hit the spot after a long day. The only pain point was the service. Our server was working a ton of tables, so we rarely saw her after she took our order. It took forever to get our check when we were ready to go.

Blistered Shishito Peppers**

We loved LAVO, their shishito peppers and garlic bread made for the perfect appetizer combination, best shishitos I've ever had. They gave us a delicious appetizer tray of pickled veggies and some house bread with red sauce, so good! The cavatelli truffle ricotta was also delicious, and the chicken Marsala was good. Full drink list and the drinks were delicious, restaurant itself is gorgeous. They are expensive but you would expect that based on location. We had three people dining and asked for one person to be on their own check prior to placing our order and they said no, but other than not splitting checks it was a perfect experience. No issues with service either our server was on top of things.

What a great deal! Not only is Alex outstanding at her job, but the way she orchestrated the entire experience was unforgettable. As locals, the strip can be a nuisance but the palazzo is a different place. I took advantage of the easy parking of the palazzo side and parked on P2 which led me straight to the elevator tugging me a straight shot to lavo. The venue is beautiful and the dj was playing vibes. The bottomless mimosas came with three Juices for us to add as much as we wanted to our bubbly. The food was so good I mean oysters salmón crudo the pancakes the pizza but best of all the veal ragout. I can't wait to go back. One of my favorite meals in a long time and I can't wait to go back.

Woooow this restaurant is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it also has great service and phenomenal pasta. I'm usually a little skeptical about enjoying Italian food, but I was blown away by the braised rib pasta which wasn't even my dish! Our server was on top of getting us settled in with drinks and appetizers before our main course. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in Vegas!

Mushroom pizza burnt!

Visited LAVO Las Vegas with a group of 7 on a Monday night. Service: We had reservations, but the experience started off poorly. The host was very rude, which honestly set a negative tone right away and almost made us want to cancel. Thankfully, once we were seated, our waitress was nice and helpful throughout the meal, which helped improve the overall experience. Complimentary bread was provided for the table, but it wasn't anything special. Food: The burrata appetizer was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the eggplant that came with it. The burrata and arugula pizza was my personal favorite of the night. The penne pasta was also good. The tomahawk steak was decent and fun with the tableside garnish presentation. The seabass was just okay and didn't stand out. Unfortunately, the mushroom and shaved truffle pizza was not good at all -- we didn't realize until we took it home that the bottom of the pizza was completely burnt. Ambiance: The ambiance felt very typical Vegas -- dark lighting and loud music, which can be fun for a group dinner. However, we were seated in the back room away from everyone else, which felt a bit odd. The back room didn't have the same energy and wasn't as nice as the main dining area. Overall, there were some solid dishes and our waitress was great, but the rude host and uneven food quality made the experience a bit mixed.

This restaurant was beautiful, elegant and very chic. The service was a bit slow but in fairness, it was a Saturday night in Vegas during one week. The menu was extremely diverse in Italian cuisine everything from the salad, which has been one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had to the penne à la vodka to the New York style cheesecake fantastic! If you're in Vegas check out Lavo & thank me later!! Xoxo

Had such a fun time at LAVO Party Brunch in Las Vegas for a friend's birthday! Huge thank you to our VIP host Brandon for hooking us up with a noon party brunch... honestly perfect now that I'm in my 30s lol. A daytime party in Vegas just hits different. The whole vibe was great, with entertaining dancers and a lively atmosphere, and the service was on point the entire time. We all had an amazing time. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun, high-energy brunch experience!

Today was our first day in Las Vegas so after my friend Mat and I were done walking through the strip, we stopped at this resort, which is the palazzo and we decided to stop at the restaurant Lavo for dinner. After talking to the hostess I asked her if she had a dairy free noodle and a gluten-free noodle and they have both options available at this restaurant. For dinner this evening I decided to get the spaghetti with olive oil and marinara which is a dairy and an egg free noodle and my friend Mat decided to get the margarita pizza with a gluten-free crust we haven't gotten food yet, but we did get a complementary seasonal veggie platter from the shop and I did get my drink, which is the Velvet Petal. The ambience and decor reminds me of something really casual and upscale at the same time. The decor of the brick walls and lanterns, the flowing curtains, and the ambience lighting, makes the restaurant very romantic along with the fresh herbs and greenery. There is a lovely gentleman who came over with a tray of fresh, fruit, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and watermelon for our waters, and he placed the lemon slices from the tongs into our glasses. There is also another lovely lady who I believe is our server she brought me my cocktail. Her name is Brittney and she's outstanding. She's kind, attentive and charismatic in all the right ways! 10/10 Miss Lorena At the restroom was a peach and was very kind.

Service was great! Immediately offered champagne upon walking in and were constantly checked in on throughout the meal. The food was super yummy and loved the breads and spreads option. Would very much recommend attending Sunday brunch that is AYCE and has oysters, truffle, seafood, carpaccio- all the wonderful things! Looks right over a beautiful part of the strip. Will definitely return!

I cant even put into words how amazing this place is. The only way to describe it is an out-of-body experience. Come hungry or don't bother coming at all. They aren't kidding about "endless brunch" When I left I had to make a few phone calls. First to my family to let them know they need to go here. The second call was to a wheelchair rental company because there's no way I was walking home after all that food. And finally, a quick call to my doctor to figure out how I can get on a GLP-1 because I realized I seriously need to reevaluate my dietary decisions

Made reservations for Lavo for a Wednesday evening and glad we did. There were multiple conventions in town and a line out the door of people hoping to get in. Once we checked in, our table was ready on time. A lovely lady in an amazing black dress seated us. They have a nice bar area, and a couple different seating areas. Generally the restaurant is lowly lighted, but somehow we ended up at a table with better lighting than many other tables - so we were very happy. They have limited Pepsi products - no Mountain Dew. Their specialty cocktails on menu can all be done as adult or nonalcoholic. They do have complimentary bread and vegetables. Their Fritto Misto was cooked perfectly. We of course had to get "The Meat Ball" - their monster 1 pound meatball. The Jumbo Shrimp Scampi was a healthy serving of 8 pieces and was prepared perfectly! The Reginette Seafood Alfredo has both sweet scallops and shrimp. I got it with a lobster tail - which was okay, but I would've been fine without the tail. The Alfred sauce was somehow a lighter preparation and not a heavy Alfredo. We ended the night with a Tiramisu, NY style Cheesecake and some sorbet. The server was lovely and the staff made our experience very nice. I would've definitely go back again!

If you want to do brunch with great food, great vibes and great prices this is your place. Came on a Sunday with a group of 5, the food was amazing , customer service was amazing and our waiter Sigi was awesome! I will always do brunch here when in Vegas !

We came on a Thursday at 6 PM and apparently the entire city had the same idea. Even with a reservation we waited about 20 minutes, and I overheard multiple walk-ins getting quoted 60-90 minutes. Make the reservation lol. First, the cocktails. I'm admittedly a cocktail snob and not easy to wow, but the strawberry gin cocktail and the passion fruit gin cocktail were both 10/10. My husband is currently busy trying to reverse engineer the recipes that's how much we loved them! The garlic bread was exactly what garlic bread should be: thin, buttery, garlicky, and dangerously easy to inhale. I had the carbonara and I truly couldn't ask for a better version at this price point. Rich, well done, no notes. Another person at our table got the Gorgonzola pasta which he absolutely loved. Another friend ordered a cocktail which she said was strong and delicious. There is an outdoor patio that looked really nice. Would love to come back and try another dish and dine al fresco on a beautiful Las Vegas day.

An added bonus is if you dine in the evening during the bellagio water fountain show and score a table by the window with a view. I went for the Taste of Scarpetta fixed price menu ($120), which gives you four courses. Everything I had was exemplary and I found the portion sizes perfect. I felt like I had plenty to eat but was still ready to attack the blackjack tables. The tuna crudo with chili oil was delightful and so flavorful. My second course was the famous spaghetti, which I would walk over broken glass for. You might think, oh big hooey, spaghetti. But no. Scarpetta's recipe tastes like a summer's day, as though someone went for a walk in their backyard garden picking tomatoes and herbs. This is a must-get; it's simple but perfect. The main entree was skillfully seared scallops with pea puree and sauteed spring vegetables. Dessert is a small sampling for four different sweets. Service was slick and very capable; the decor is restful and comfortable. It's not as showy as many other places at this resort, but everything is tasteful and upscale, and many of the tables in the main room have a great view of the Bellagio fountains next door. I couldn't really find any nits to pick here; I would absolutely return.

They start you off with bread which were not very tasty. They were a bit dry and lacking in flavor. It was a shame because they give you a small container filled with olive oil to dip your bread in. We ordered a glass of Barolo and the Dante's Infante cocktail. The cocktail was refreshing and strong. My husband wanted to try wine but there werent many options for wines sold by the glass and there was only one option for Baralos so he ordered that. The Baralo was just average for $30 per glass and it was unfortunate that there weren't more options to choose from. We ordered the Polpo ( octopus) appetizer. The flavors were well balanced and the pureed canellini beans paired well with the octopus but the octopus was too cold. Not sure if it was supposed to be served like but I've never had octopus that cold before and the consistency was a bit harder because of the temperature. For our entrees, we ordered the pappardelle with lobster, scallops and truffle. The pasta was perfectly al dente and amazing. There were 2 beautifully cooked and tender scallops. There were a few garnishes of truffle that were shaved thick enough that I was able to chew into the texture. I wish there were larger pieces as the shaved pieces were small sized in diameter. But overall the pasta itself was cooked perfectly. This was far the best dish. We also ordered the Branzino which I wish I hadn't because there was a very wierd flavor profile.. I ordered it thinking it was going to have crispy skin but the skin was very soggy. It seems they changed the method of cooking the branzino as compared to previous photos uploaded by other yelpers. I was a bit disappointed when the branzino came out because the whole fish was butterflied ( sliced in half with tail in tact) and looked like the skin side had at one point been fried but it was soggy and soaked in the sauce. I was not particularly a fan of the sauce. I tasted a strong flavor profile of cinnamon for some reason even though there was no cinnamon mentioned on the menu. Two of the ingredients listed was guanciale and taragon. One of two ingredients may have been the flavors I tasted which did not pair well with the fish. It ruined the natural flavor of the fish as they overpowered the natural flavor of the branzino. Any time I get a chance to order the Branzino, I am usually satisfied or impressed but have never been disappointed. I think my favorite restaurants where I had exceptionally cooked branzinos were on the Vegas strip. At one of restaurants on the strip which I have ordered numerous times and is a very well known restaurant which I will name nameless ...it was cooked similarly, butterflied, in a buttery lemon sauce but the skin was still crispy. A second restaurant on the strip... the branzino was smoked and roasted on charcoal with a tomato based sauce. I guess I can't help but compare because this restaurant is priced similar to two very popular restaurants on the strip but fell short. Our waiter Diego was great and best personality and made our experience memorable. Overall the best dishe was the handmade pasta. The lack of options for wine by the glass was a bit saddening. The cocktail was unique and strong. But I regret getting the branzino. I am not sure I would go back

The thick piece of fish on the Salmon Oreganata was beautiful but the salmon itself lacked a bit of seasoning. They bring around a dessert cart but we opted out as nothing caught our eye and we were pretty full. They brought out a small birthday dessert with a candle, which was delicious and always appreciated.

This was my first time at this location. I have dined at the Peoria local quite a few times so I…read morewas excited to try this one. We were seated as soon as we walked in. We had reservations at 5pm so it wasn't busy yet. The dining was very nicely furnished. They have about the same amount of seating on the patio as in the dining room with a bar and high top tables in the middle. I asked if the White Truffle Garlic Bread could be made gluten free. I was so happy to hear that they can. I felt like I had died and gone to cheesy heaven.before I developed my wheat allergy I ordered garlic bread anywhere it was in the menu. It's one of my favorite foods. So when I say theirs is quite possibly the best I've ever had in my life, it means something. We ordered family style for the entrees. We ordered the Bolognese Pappardelle, Strozzapreti, Ricotta Cavatelli( subbed gf pasta), Chicken Scarpariello and Short Rib Lumache. They were all absolutely delicious. Dessert did not disappoint either. We ordered the Brookie sundae and the Tiramisu. I couldn't have the Tiramisu but I was told that it was great. The Brookie sundae was a fun dessert. It came with vanilla, pistachio and chocolate gelato, whip and some sort of cake on the bottom. I didn't go all the way down because of my stupid allergy again. The gelatos were all good. It came with a side dish with strawberries and nuts and little chocolate balls. I can't wait to go back again. Next time I'll tell the rest of the table to get their own garlic bread so I don't have to share mine. I'll have dreams about that bread. So heavenly!!!!

I recently visited North Italia and had a great experience. Even though it was busy, we were seated…read morepretty quickly, and the customer service was excellent throughout our visit. Out of everything we ordered, my favorites were the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Chicken Pesto, and the Pepperoni Pizza with Hot Honey. The Chicken Pesto was a little more lemony than I expected, but I would still order it again because it was very good. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka had the perfect amount of spice not too spicy, but enough to give it great flavor. The Strozzapreti and White Truffle Garlic Bread were not my personal favorites, but my family really enjoyed both of them. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were great, and I would definitely come back.
