My only complaint is that Le Sia moved from my neighborhood to Hell's Kitchen Seriously though I was overjoyed when I realized that they had reopened because I was so devastated when they shut down during the first year of covid. My aunt and uncle who visit once a year from London were even more devastated than me when they came that year. THAT's how good Le Sia is. You have to get the crawfish - the crab legs are also good (the shrimp is boring by comparison) but the crawfish is what rocks. And get the skewers, the cucumber salad and the eggplant. read more

I can't say about the dining experience since I did delivery but the food was really unique. I ordered two days in a row to see if the delivery was good both the days. My first time I ordered crab legs and eghh or I thought chicken gizzards as the friend I'm staying with was a big fan. Both tasted great. The king crab legs were really flavorful. And the gizzards were well gizzards or as good as a gizzards can taste. But I guess I need more experience gizzarding as this was my first. But I'd try it again. Tonight we ordered the wagyzu skewers and they were definitely wagyu. Marbled fatty and moist/tender. So good and for 18 dollars you get 5 skewers. For sure. I'd definitely get delivery again. As a Chinese grow up in Beijing I would say Le Sia is my favorite Beijing spot in NYC! Their crawfish and BBQ tastes so authentic and delicious. The iced crawfish seasoning with Chinese wine was my favorite, but I think it's a summer special item (will definitely come back and check it out!) Solid dinner at Le Sia--even my picky Chinese parents approved! A close walk from my apt in Hell's Kitchen, we headed here for dinner after they arrived from the airport. There was no wait for my party of 4 despite not having a reservation. (I couldn't actually figure out how to make a res, as the phone # didn't ring thru to a call either...) The small but mighty restaurant was buzzing with small groups of 2-4 on this Tuesday and we were happy to score an empty table. We ordered: Skewers: lamb and intestines--came in orders of 4 each, both types were seasoned well and moist/crisp IMO. I know other Yelpers have complained about the skewers being underseasoned but this luckily wasn't our experience! Soup: Dough and tomato egg soup--authentic! Though my parents are from Southern China, they quite enjoyed this refreshing and filling Northern soup. Hot pot: lamb spine hot pot--this soup was surprisingly refreshing and clean tasting for lamb! Good portions of meat you will have to gnaw off the bone, with Napa cabbage, tofu, and radish also added into the soup. Savory! Carbs: seafood lo mein--reliably good and a large portion! Such an amazing place in Hell's Kitchen. Staff was nice, and the menu had so many options to choose from. The food came very fast as well. We ordered several skewers (lamb, pork belly hugging enoki, squid, chinese bread, and pork belly). My favorite was definitely the pork belly hugging the enoki mushrooms; the fatty, smokey flavor of the pork belly compliments the earthy-ness of the enoki mushrooms and pair very well together. I also ordered the asian style jambalaya which was very good as well. It was flavorful and packed with spice and seafood flavor with a plentiful amount of crawfish tails. A wonderful experience for an affordable price (skewers range from $5-10, rice and noodles are $10-15). If you are ever in Hell's Kitchen, I absolutely recommend this place. Had the privilege to live within walking distance of this place. Usually, we stay with the skewers, wok-fried dishes, and hot pot. As someone who grew up in Northern China, it brings me right back home. Highly recommend the 疙瘩汤 (iykyk), it's very good. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the grilled skewers. Their seasoning dry rub is pretty bomb but it's the same for everything. I have been to cheaper and slightly better BBQ places in Flushing but this is by far the best in Manhattan. We came twice on weekend evenings and it was pretty packed. But all the staff members were super nice and managed the situation well. Kudos to them!! read more

Oh my goodness .... RUN TO THIS PLACE!!!!! It is beyond phenomenal. Between well made cocktails to an amazing variety of food options to a really fun vibe and even better wait staff this place truly has it all. For food we ordered: - fish cakes and squid fried on sticks. They were seasoned to perfection and yummy treats to start with - bok choy stir fry- genuinely the best I have ever had!! - King Crab Legs in a delicious garlic chili sauce. The sauce was beyond amazing. So good actually that we ordered a side of noodles to soak up the sauce after we finished the krab because it was just that good. - Mongolian Grilled Beef. Wow! It came sizzling on a hot grill and boy was it tasty. The flavors all fused together so perfectly and between this and the krab legs I truly don't know which was better!! Final takeaway: Wow! I am so glad a friend recommended going to this place. While I truly enjoyed the things I ordered I would not hesitate to order anything on their menu because everything looked and tasted that great. So... How do I love Le Sia? Lemme count the ways 1) spicy and numb flavoring ftw. Keep in mind it raises the spiciness level about a notch. It's so good you will want to take home the sauce after- we literally just did this. 2) the best bulk seafood place in NYC in my opinion. No salt thrown on similar places- like the broil - Le Sia is just amazing with consistent fresh great tasting seafood 3) the non-boil menus are also quite strong with notable shout outs to asian style jambalaya and etoufee. It never before occurred to me the numerous similarities between asian and creole/Cajun cuisines. Le Sia blends these influences masterfully- and uniquely! 4) $10 cocktails that, on the menu, look like they are going to be syrupy monsters but in reality are light, well balanced offerings that could stand on their own against places that specialize in nothing but cocktails 5) The staff are very pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. This was a total disappointment! The service was poor. The waiter started cleaning up the floor and tables at 9:30pm, even their closure is 10pm. Their multi-purpose spray was everywhere, and came into our food. It was honestly like eating in a toilet. We told them that we were still finishing our food, and we will be fast. But the waiter was very rude and asked us why we bothered. He just kept spraying and spraying. Because of this threat, we had to leave before finishing the food. It was an insult to the customers. Le Sia is a great option for a food cuisine that isn't necessarily abundant in the area. I love the option to eat all different types of meat on skewers and to combine it with some nice beer! This place is amazing. Probably the only place in Hell's Kitchen you can get authentic Mongolian style skewers and goodness are they worth it. The lamb ones especially, juicy, cumin-y, mouthwatering deliciousness. Their offal might be hit or miss depending on their last shipment. We had the heart last time and it wasn't particularly fresh, possible that that depends on the popularity (and frequency) of order. The seafood boil is also on point, the 13 spice crab and crawfish/or shrimp boil is a must try. You can also use the juice from the boil as a noodle sauce for their cold sesame noodles and it all comes together beautifully. I'm not sure if crawfish and lobster are in season during the summer or not, but remember to get the seafood when they are in season as the fresh stuff is better than the frozen stuff. Their other dishes that we've tried are just ok, I'd stick with the skewers and the seafood boils. Get a bag and some sticks to go and you'll have a feast! read more

It's very good and looks authentic. I wouldn't eat some of the items on the menu but the other items were great and great price too.

I decided to run out and get a quick bite and Le Sia had recently opened. I went in and was seated immediately. They had been doing some work on the front door and I thought they were closed but they stepped aside and I walked in. The menu is a little confusing and I was encouraged to try the skewers, which turned out to be very tasty. I started with the tiger shrimp [2] with a piece of pineapple in between drizzled with a white sauce. The shrimps are small but tasty. I moved onto the Red willow lamb skewer and then tried the chicken, the shrimp [ a large shrimp on a skewer with the shell-no way to eat this except to peel by hand-messy!!!] The squid was good as well but 4 small pieces. A normal sized person with an appetite would need to have at least 10-15 skewers to feel full. It is just not enough food. The food was good and the skewers are not overpriced but....the staff was helpful in explaining the menu and making suggestions. I will make a return visit in a few weeks to try something which may be more substantial. read more
